Twelve minutes transforms the cinematic god's eye into the interactive man's eye. Luis Antonio, the author, has achieved a concentrated dose of tension and urgency by atomizing time and space. The game reliably prevents excessive repetition leading to boredom, the great stumbling block of time-loop mechanics.- Meristation

The Ramp is a pleasant surprise. As if it were a toy model, Hyperparadise seeks to transmit the pleasure of skateboarding in a simple video game with no achievements or objectives, just enjoy the ride, so that the flow of this sport runs through your veins. And it succeeds. First, because it feels like a videogame thanks to its polished mechanics. Secondly, because of the good taste in its art direction and the good design. It's a pity that there aren't more, that this haven of tranquility doesn't hold even more surprises. In the meantime, one of those that we will never tire of recommending.- Meristation

The Forgotten City looks like the result of crossing Skyrim, Outer Wilds and Deadly Premonition. Fascinating. One of the stories of the year. The Skyrim mod that transformed into a swan.- Meristation

The Great Ace Attorney is a must for fans of the series. The challenge was twofold. On the one hand, to build two video games (ten cases in total) with a completely new cast of characters. On the other hand, to justify a historical context when telling a story based on dialectical battles in the courts in the middle of the nineteenth century. And it has succeeded. With a fantastically written story, it presents irregularities in their rhythm and an excess of lines of text at certain moments, though. Both games feel current, fresh and give meaning to their existence as canonical content. They are high-level visual novels, with Shu Takumi showing his best narrative skills at times. That it does not come in Spanish is a pity; therefore, if the language barrier is not a problem for you, you have here a long journey difficult to forget.- Meristation

A well crafted puzzle game that uses mathematics and logic structures to solve them, although the combat system is clunky and the platform sections could be way better.- Meristation

It will entertain fans of the genre, but it won't make them fall in love. Much flatter and more conventional than Virginia.- Meristation

Acid Nerve reaches a new level with a game that feels much more ambitious than Titan Souls. Death's Door is a traditional adventure, full of mysteries and perfect for short game sessions.- Meristation

F1 2021 continues the excellent playable feel boosted from its previous installment. The arrival of the new generation of consoles brings us a game that takes few risks, but does not make it worse for that: it is the best opportunity to enjoy F1.- Meristation

Less than two years since the last Lovecraft based game, the Nintendo Switch port of Call of Cthulhu, we have a new game based on the vast and influential works of the inmortal author. This Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace really embraces its board game origins, creating a mixture of exploration, puzle-solving, clue-gathering and turn-time combats. The story is good, but not too deep, and the mechanics and visuals show good ideas, fun ideas, but also a not enough budget to put’em all the right way. Another hit ’n miss Lovecraft game, but with a good atmosphere and pretty fun somehow.- Meristation

The Magnifficent Trufflepigs falls short of the mark in its proposal, whose playable base is based on detecting metals that give rise to an excellently interpreted and remarkably written conversation. Its rhythm, a great advantage, stimulates you to keep going until the end, but its mechanics are far from what has been achieved by other walking simulators. In addition, its story has left us wanting more; more depth and depth. We recommend it only for fans of the genre with an emphasis on narrative.- Meristation

Chivalry 2 becomes one of the most surprising multiplayer games of last months, with a solid combat and fantastic setting. Only some lack of content -modes, maps- ward the game off a higher point, but Torn Banner is expected to solve this.- Meristation

Chicory achieves exactly what it intends: to absorb you into its universe and dazzle you with its structure. A brush as a magic wand capable of painting, solving puzzles and answering many of the questions it asks you. Excellently localized and with an unforgettable soundtrack, its only problem is the control with the controller, which is not as comfortable as it should; it is more accurate with a mouse on PC. Finji has once again succeeded in turning simplicity into an advantage. Its puzzles are intelligent, there is always a surprise waiting for you in its beautiful story. One of the indie surprises of 2021.- Meristation

The main game receives an important graphic and technical update to adapt it to the new generation, but it is in the INTERmission expansion that we find the main attraction of Intergrade. A DLC with a new story line, surprising changes in gameplay and the addition of the Fort Condor minigame. A must for fans of the title.- Meristation

Like a blast from the past, Ryu Hayabusha and the Ninja Gaiden trilogy appears like a storm in this Souls era. Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection looks very good, but not so great as it could've been. And the choice / not choice of remaster the Sygma versions is not what we wanted -It'd be great to have the option between playing the originals from Xbox and the Sygma versions. But nonetheless, we have pure ninja slice-and-dice action, so intense and hard that it puts your skills to the test. Oldie but true goodie indeed!- Meristation

The virtues of the title, to which they add a great final stretch or certain extra challenges that complement the game as a whole (here some ideas could have been exploited further), end up being much greater than these setbacks.- Meristation
