If you didn’t throw away enough coins with the original versions, this double pack can spare you the trip to the arcade. But even if that’s the case, we recommend the Zapper and a fried at hand. Anyway, it’s notorious the out of date nature of this port. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s not Melee 2...it’s something even better. Hundreds of extras, dozens of characters and an incredible multiplayer makes for the strongest candidate to game of the year for the Wii. Even if it doesn’t appeal to all of the casual audience, it’s a mandatory title for the console. We strongly recommend it. What else can we say? [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Although we’re real fans of co-op action, we couldn’t help but to feel disappointed. It’s just not well structured and doesn’t seem to offer any real exciting moments. Some of its mechanics are well implemented, but there are some other cooperative shooters far better than this one that don’t even have to pull these kinds of tricks. Even though it’s short, Chains of Olympus is an awesome game that captures perfectly all of the God of War spirit. At the same time, it manages to offer some prodigious visuals that really raise the bar for the PSP. It’s the second lesson from Ready at Dawn on how to program for Sony’s portable machine. All the key elements of the game are present on this remake. The graphics look quite detailed and colored new backgrounds have been introduced to make it look alive. A new Continue option, unlocked by mini games completion, will welcome the new players. The game itself remains as addictive as it’s always been and it’s an excellent choice if you like this genre. There’s a lot of detail on the scenery and the characters really look like the actors. And it follows the same structure as the show, mixing sections from the island with some flashbacks. But the gameplay is comprised of out of date mechanics and it doesn’t have what is basically the essence of Lost – a plot that really catches your attention. It doesn’t even tie well with the events of the show. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Behind its simplistic but charming appearance, together with its original rhythm sequences and gameplay, hides a strategy game that can grab you for hours. It’s still pretty similar to previous titles from the series, but if you like to play with a group of friends, it’s always nice. Maybe the humor and its friendly nature can compensate for the lack of originality… but only if you don’t have any of the other games from the franchise. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Although it tries to reinvent the franchise it doesn’t represent a step forward. Quite the opposite. It throws away some of the promising elements of previous titles in favor a new structure and gameplay with little depth. And it still fails to offer the same flair as other Street brand titles from EA Sports Big. [March 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The classic debuts on the DS with a lot of what was to be expected. That is to say: nice graphics, sound, and very classic gameplay. A Continue option would be welcome; unfortunately it’s not present and it will be necessary to repeat the game from scratch if Tiki runs out of lives, meaning it tends to become a bit repetitive. It’s not perfect, but it’s still fun and should please those who appreciate this genre. [Feb 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

With great graphics, great sense of speed, a well balanced gameplay and a more than adequate soundtrack, can we say that Pulse is almost technically flawless? Probably, but only because “lack of innovation” isn’t considered to be a technical attribute. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The least you can say is that this is a unique title with some genius moments. It follows the same action/ beat’em up mechanics that we can find on all of the Dynasty Warriors series. It’s basic and can become easily repetitive. The last specimen of a dying genre, Time Crisis 4 tries to revive itself with a new FPS mode.
