Cyerbpunk 2077 ends up being a disappointment and a shame. The general lack of polish and technical problems make it difficult to fully enjoy a fascinating universe that, behind a pile of hypersexualized posters and an advertising campaign made by a teenager with revolutionized hormones, has moments of extreme reflection, tenderness, compassion and companionship. In the future, Cyberpunk 2077 will surely be a better product, but at the moment it should not even be for sale.

F1 2021 is not the great evolution or the step forward that we expected. The reasons are in plain sight and neither the context nor what happens depends on Codemasters.

The charm of its main character and a great world building elevate an experience that would otherwise be somewhat of a letdown. The narrative is really engaging and the artistic direction is top notch, but there's not much else to do in terms of mechanics and exploration. At the same time, if you love cats, this is could end up being a pretty special adventure (and it has a dedicated button to meow, of course).

Advance Wars 1+2: ReBoot Camp is a great game for newcomers to the turn-based strategy genre. Bringing this IP back means revaluating a hidden gem, but the additions aren't enough to make this new version a definitive edition of such classic games.

Petroglyph Games and Lemon Sky Studios did a more than acceptable work in both the graphic and sound aspects of this remastered, polishing even the smallest detail and giving users the possibility to add content freely, where we will find an enormous amount of fresh stuff to try. We will, once again, put on our commander's uniform to solve international conflicts in the best warlike manner.

With solid technical aspects but disappointing gunplay, repetitive encounters, and other flaws, all the good stuff ends up falling flat.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars offers three spectacular games in the least inspired way possible. It's amazing to see these games reaching a whole new generation of gamers, but taking into account that Mario is Nintendo's flagship series, they could have made a greater effort.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is more spectacular than effective. It does what's enough to make it better than many others in the racing genre.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore has both a J-pop-styled soundtrack and presentation that distinguish it from other JRPGs. Characters are also charming and the combat is extremely engaging despite its high difficulty. However, it is hard to recommend it to those who already played it on Wii U.

Elroy and the Aliens is highly recommended for all fans of the genre who are looking for a fun science fiction story with lots of color, humor, charismatic characters and without so much complexity when it comes to solving puzzles.

Bloodroots is a very entertaining game. The influence of Hotline Miami looks good on this game, matching its artistic style very well. However, it loses momentum half way through, with the story becoming predictable, the levels introducing frustrating mechanics, and even by suffering from technical errors.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin isn't for everyone. It's easy to recommend it for Monster Hunter fans, but its faults will be too noticeable for those who aren't lovers of the series or for those who simply can't understand Monster Hunter's appeal.

New Star GP is a casual, arcade game that aims for a particular aesthetic and gameplay that is in short supply these days. I'm glad it exists, and I'm touched by the strong love of motorsport it has present. I think it's a fun videogame to play, even with friends, but I think -empirically- it's an idea that is directly intended for those who enjoy the sport.

Bayonetta Origins is great in terms of ideas, but it gets lost during the execution. A sequel may improve all the aspects that didn't quite work in this first game.

As the saying goes Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is a jack of all trades, master of none. The best moments in Valhalla are the most intimate, those that explore Eivor as a character, sitting by a campfire talking about life with one of her friends. The game has other intentions, and when it tries to tell all the possible stories, it ends up suffering.

New Pokemon Snap is a good and nostalgic game, but it falls a bit short for what the franchise and its players deserve. While this won't hurt the series reputation, it cannot be denied that this new game does not take real risks.

While a fun game like the others in the franchise, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii doesn't do much to justify its existence in a series where plot and character development are among the main draws. It's a good pirate adventure, but I can't say for sure it is a good Yakuza game.

The Quarry has everything that fans of horror and the studio enjoy, but nothing more. Modes for group decision making or just enjoying it as a movie add replay value, but at the end of the day it highlights how it's time for Supermassive Games to start innovating more in their storytelling.

For every success, Wild Hearts makes several mistakes. There's a great concept behind all this, but the design problems, the poor balance and the technical errors make this title fall far short of what it was meant to be.

Mr. Run and Jump is a colorful and demanding platformer that, when it shows its best side, manages to charm with well-designed levels and complicated jumps. However, the ruthless difficulty curve and imprecise controls can end up discouraging less skilled players.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. MaxiBoost ON is a difficult game to recommend. As a fighting game, it isn't bad; on the contrary, it is impressive that, with such a high number of characters, it manages to be a balanced game. The problem is, it doesn't have much more than that to offer, even for Gundam fans.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership is an experience that, although it repeats itself a lot at times, is quite fun. It manages to overcome some of the obstacles that made this franchise fail, but it also stumbles at times over the same stones. It's not a bad return for the franchise, but it also falls in the middle of other great RPG experiences even for the same character.

Another success in terms of historic preservation, and it's worth nothing that it's still a great game, but there's not much there to talk about Luigi's Mansion 2 again.
