It is just as good as a single player experience, as it is with friends - at least if you do not want to play online. The Gamecube classic Super Smash Bros Melee has finally been defeated.

Forza Horizon 5 offers more of everything we loved with part four. The competitions are crazier and the exploration more dynamic than ever before. Some elements do seem to go on repeat, but still manage to feel fresh thanks to the environmental change. An adrenaline-filled experience no one should miss, quite simply.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gives you truckloads of the great gaming experience already seen in the previous installments and polishes it into near-perfection. Prepare to delve into a thrilling story with lots of possible consequences and outcomes.

Little Nightmares is a perfect balanced experience with around five hours of gameplay. It has some flaws, but the atmosphere and the unique setting makes up for that. If you are in need for something short and interesting, you should give this one a try.

With Total War: Warhammer 2, Creative Assembly nurtures and carefully develops the winning scheme from last year's success. A slew of exciting additions and a new take on the campaign, mixed with four awesome new armies, make this strategy-sequel a must-play.

The last expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is by far the best one. It manages to bring new and interesting mechanics to the game, as well as some of the most beautifully designed landscapes we have ever seen in this franchise. A must buy.

It seems that Playground Games can do no wrong and Forza Horizon 4 is not just another feather in their hat, it is also the best exclusive game on Xbox One right now. The graphics are drop dead gorgeous on One X, the gameplay is better than ever, and the enhanced online functions work great. Well done!

FIFA 17 is in every detail better than FIFA 16. The new game engine gives you a smoother gameplay, Journey is a great way to implement a campaign in a sport game and there is just a ton of things to do. On the pitch, however, PES 2017 is the better game this year – mainly because of better AI and deeper mechanics.

PES 2017 is in many way the game that PES 2016 should have been. It shares the same deep mechanics, but the AI – especially the goalies – is so much better. PES 2017 may be a let down for those who want as many licenses as possible, for everyone else this is one of the best soccer games ever.

The story and most of the characters feel a bit too traditional, but aside from that Ni No Kuni II is a game that never disappoints. It's one of the most beautiful and heart-warming adventures in a long while, and it's better than the first game in every single respect.

With a fresh Champions League-licence, more realistic movements on the pitch and a slew of crazy new rulesets, FIFA 19 is one of the best instalments in the series we've seen in recent years.

Despite the overall feeling of familiarity, Dishonored 2 delivers such an impressive sense of variety and atmosphere that the game sits among the best gaming titles of 2016.

A fantastic game of a game that didn't really need a remake. Capcom still manages to optimize this 2005 gem into something that feels modern 2023 - even though some of the best sequences from the original are lost in time.

Death Stranding is unlike anything we have played before, despite it's obvious influences from previous Kojima games. And just as in his other works, there are a number of messages and meta discussions engraved in the experience, which certainly will again deter those who only want to play casually. No offense to that, but in the case of Death Stranding, it probably just makes the experience more difficult to digest. It requires a more open mind than other games. Partly because the story is a bit more overwhelming than usual, but also because the deliveries we actually have to make can feel repetitive if we lose the overall picture. For those who are still willing to try something new it's one of the most unique experiences in years. A journey that affects the entire emotional spectrum and that makes us reflect far beyond the final credits.

Hazelight is back with the puzzle-filled adventure It Takes Two. Just like in their previous games, the whole adventure revolves around cooperation, but this time in a much more charming and almost excessively varied form - where it sometimes can feel like we are thrown between completely different games. But somehow, the adventure never feels disjointed, rather the opposite. Right from the start, both the world and the gameplay feels perfectly synchronized, and it is a joy to tackle all the obstacles that stand in our way.

With an outstanding combat system For Honor offers a unique take on medieval action games. The combat truly excels against other players online and it is apparent that the online mode is where your time should be spent. Offline players, however, will not find much to do except hammering around in a repetitive story mode.

Thanks to several major updates No Man's Sky is in many ways a very different experience today than it was in 2016, even though the main gameplay loop is still intact. If you want an exciting story or thrilling space combat, this is not for you. However, if you want a Minecraft-oozing space adventure filled with endless exploration, it fits perfectly. It may not be Star Wars or Mass Effect, but it's your very own space adventure.

The Disney Afternoon Collection is the perfect nostalgia trip for everyone who grew up in the late 80’s. It is a solid collection with perfect pixels and magical music. And of course old school difficulty.
