The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing does in no way tread new ground in the action genre. But it is still atmospheric and sucks you in with it’s combat and loot system. The online mode suffers from many bugs and the adventure does never reach the heights of games like Diablo 3 or Torchlight 2.- Level7.nu

Lego: The Hobbit offers a charming adventure that actually tries to breathe some new air into the Lego franchise. Unfortunately some of the new additions don’t work very well, and it’s a shame that the big open world isn’t used in a more meaningful way.- Level7.nu

As a shooter, Wolfenstein walks a path familiar to all those who have played shooters for the past couple of years. Everything from presentation to gameplay and plot do their job without really standing out. Wolfenstein isn't a bad game per se, it's actually quite a competent shooter, but one that doesn't really stand out in a genre that's currently filled to the brim with more exiting titles.- Level7.nu

Champions Online contains some new elements for the MMO genre such as the massive amount of freedom during the character creation and the game is more action oriented than many other MMO's. But it isn't enough to reach the top of the MMO scene and with irritating bugs, rough graphic and an ordinary structure the game will only gather a small amount of players.- Level7.nu

With Soviet Assault we're treated to an exiting and realistically detailed experience of war set in the year of 1989. As with the original game the presentation is as attractive as it is detailed and realistic. The expansion adds an intense war campaign and a truckload of red flags. The increased intensity is unfortunately hampered by an equally increased complexity of gameplay, but overall this is a great experience for all fans of strategy and warfare.- Level7.nu

An allegorical puzzle game about a boy trying to help his alcoholic father. The compelling story explores a serious issue, but the game is somewhat lacking gameplay wise.- Level7.nu

A Machine for Pigs is a well made and impressive game with a thorough thematic design and atmosphere. As a horror game it is rather spartan yet brilliant in that it let’s your brain conjure most of its horrors. Unfortunately it comes with a rather numbing effect that makes later parts of the game feel more formulaic and not as scary.- Level7.nu

When Secret Agent Clank shows it's best sides, it really shines. There is a good portion of humour to be found here and a lot of what makes the Ratchet & Clank-games great is also present here. Unfortunately, Clank isn't capable of maintaining the same level of quality all the way through. It's a competent adventure, but Clank misses his trusty partner in crime.- Level7.nu

When it comes to playing soccer with your friends at home, few games can rival this version of PES. The tempo is higher and the player movement is a tad bit more realistic that it's new gen console counterparts. But with few additions and a lot of licenses lost it's hard to recommend this to anyone. Shame on Konami for basically letting us pay for the same content as last year.- Level7.nu

The main sales argument of Decades is the ability to play against a friend with a copy of the game, or it's predecessor On Tour, anywhere via wireless networking. This game is a whole lot of fun playing with a friend, and it works for solo sessions as well, but unfortunately the grip around the keys will be straining for your hands during longer sessions of play. The presentation could also have been given a fresher coat of paint and a more rock like aesthetics. This is a good supplement to the more mature siblings on the stationary consoles.- Level7.nu

In 10 Second Ninja you have just ten seconds to defeat every single enemy. In order to score the highest amount of points you need to complete the levels faster than that. If you like pushing yourself towards perfection you'll probably find a bit of fun here. If not, this is nothing for you.- Level7.nu

Return to Arkham City, taking the role of both the caped crusader and his protege Robin. This DLC is a little bit to short, and the amount of hand holding from the developers is tremendous. Fun, but not really worth the price.- Level7.nu

Off the Record lets you return to Fortune City, but this time as Frank West from the first game. Sadly, Off the Record keeps much of the bad game design from its predecessors as horrible loading time, time limits and specific and sparse places for combining weapons. There are just too many game mechanics in this game that should not be allowed in a game made in 2011.- Level7.nu

Disney Magical World resembles Animal Crossing in many ways. There exists some important differences though. Everyone is welcome to the Disney world, but at the same time it's a very superficial world. A big game mechanic is to gain as much compliments for your outfits as possible, for example. The lack of complex gameplay probably won't entertain restless players but as therapy it's definitely adequate.- Level7.nu

When Sacred 2 was released for the PC in 2008 it offered us a decent action adventure experience. The console version - although identical in appearance and structure - is somehow a more appealing experience. Even though it's not a top tier game it still offers you a great amount of enjoyable hours making your way through the massive world.- Level7.nu

Everybody probably doesn’t love grindhouse humour and rail shooters in 2013. But there is no game like Typing of the Dead: Overkill. Together with the upcoming co-op mode it might be a future cult classic.- Level7.nu

Tales of Xillia 2 is all about fan-service. Instead of adding new areas to explore, Bandai Namco have focused on stuffing the game with a lot of optional material, such as extra tough monsters, side quests and bonus chapters where you'll learn more about the characters. It's all fun and dandy, but after a while the repetitiveness of it all proves to be a bit much. Xillia 2 is a better sequel than Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, but it is far from being as good as many of the earlier installments in the series.- Level7.nu

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes improves on the problems of the last game but still has a bit to go. The concept is as genius as ever with the toy box mode as it's biggest source of value and fun. Too bad you have to play the lazy campaign to unlock stuff for it.- Level7.nu

It's a bold move to change the destructive sand box gameplay of Guerrilla with this linear and claustrophobic experience, but Volition does a really good job. Just don't expect it to be Red Faction Guerrilla 2.- Level7.nu

If you're a big fan of the Phantasy Star franchise you might find something to enjoy in this entry for the Nintendo DS, but for everyone else there are few interesting features to be found here. The ability to experience the adventure with friends online is the one saving grace that elevates this title from utter mediocrity.- Level7.nu

Elder Scrolls Online presents an honest attempt to freshen up the MMO genre. It wants to offer fans a pure Elder Scrolls experience with a focus on story and characters, but with its fairly sloppy multiplayer mechanics the game gets a bit boring. Despite quite a few good ideas, Elder Scrolls Online sadly fails at several points. It's still a game that will really speak to a variety of players though.- Level7.nu

This is as close to a realistic Ferrari experience you can get on a home console right now. Unfortunately the developers haven't focused enough on everything else which means that there isn't enough to be exited about apart from the Ferrari experience. The gameplay lacks variation and the multiplayer mode lacks depth. This is nevertheless a great driving experience that grows with your interest in Ferrari cars.- Level7.nu

When it was announced that a western developer was to take over the reins from Team Silent there were many raised voices of concern about what would become of the series. Silent Hill Homecoming is actually a classic Silent Hill experience, a bit too classic to be honest, with the game's formula sticking very close to the old Silent Hill games. The graphical upgrade works great, lending design inspiration from the movie, and the music and sound is phenomenal. The plot is also told very well. The modernized combat system unfortunately eliminates the sense of respect and fear for the enemies, the main gripe we have with this otherwise great survival horror experience.- Level7.nu
