Rockstar has done it again. Red Dead Redemption 2 has surpassed all the reference titles of its genre, becoming a masterpiece of video games. A title that marks a before and after in how the effort and dedication of a studio are able to take a generation of consoles to a new exponent, demonstrating that excellence is only reserved for a select few. If you like to get lost in an unforgettable world, this title is a must on your bookshelf.

Warriors Orochi 4 is a classic musou, which takes the Warriors crossover to the next level. Challenging battles against thousands of enemies, co-op modes and the biggest roster of playable characters in videogames are the main features of this hack-and-slash. A conservative approach to the genre that the real fans wil love. Omega Force owns the formula to the ultimate musou and we are catching a glimpse with every new title.

My Hero One’s Justice is Izuku Midoriya’s big debut on PlayStation 4. Addictive combat system, 20 anime characters with their unique fighting styles and stages to destroy… All what any My Hero Academia’s fan was wishing for! It’s a shame that Byking didn’t take time to introduce all the characters, making this title more approachable to players looking for new fighting games. Bandai Namco leaves us asking for more and wondering how is going to be the next videogame based on this Academia of Heroes.

Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood is a simple package that remains small in front of the rich content that it keeps inside. Konami has shown little interest in providing something new to PlayStation 4 users, with the commercial potential of nostalgia being the main and only reason for the making of this collection.

The Heist is a good reason to sway in the skyscrapers of New York again, despite its lack of innovation, because it has a well-argued story that presents a very interesting character like Black Cat, showing another side of Peter Parker and his relationship with MJ, accompanied by the excellent gameplay that made this game of Insomniac were considered one of the best in the catalog of the PlayStation 4.

WWE 2K19 proclaims itself as the best wrestling game until this day. My Career, Towers and the great return of Showcase are enough to keep any fan of the WWE fighting for hours. The dynamic and challenging combats will hook veteran and amateurs fighters alike. There is no doubt at all that 2K has given depth to his wrestling simulator and open a new and exciting path for the franchise.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 continues with the path that its two previous chapters began and has become the best chapter to date, as long as you prefer to play its online modes instead of a story. The bet made by Treyarch has paid off and with this title they manage to raise the Call of Duty saga to new heights.

NBA 2K Playgrounds jumps in the right direction to occupy the throne of NBA Jam. In one year, Saber Interactive has managed to improve the designs of his big head players and controls in order to reach a bigger audience looking for fun. The game modes are limited, but Playgrounds 2 is a funny sport game to enjoy with friends and family. It’s a real shame that the game includes microtransactions.

If EA wanted FIFA 19 to be a reconstruction, the final result is a nice try but not enough. It’s a good football game, It’s funny with its arcade touch which is really attractive. The new licenses of Champions League and Europa league with lots of Leagues around the world. The scenarios, the display of all around the football world is amazing, but the execution lacks in realism. But we can’t expect It from EA for the moment. They sell a fun football game, with some realistic touches, and that’s what millions of players buy. That’s all. And that’s enough.

Soul Calibur VI is probably the best game of the series and the most exciting title of its genre for 2018. The 22 fighters to master, Libra of Soul mode and the new Reverse Attack system and special moves will keep novice and veteran players fighting for hours. The history reboot and reinvention of the combat mechanics are the main weapons of this new installment. The battle to destroy Soul Edge is only beginning.

The work 704 is doing with NASCAR series is impressive if you look at the games before this third one, there’s such an evolve through the years and little by little they are growing. Gameplay improves every year, but nevertheless It doesn’t offer a truly racing experience, a performance with the quality enough to compete with the greatest games of motorsport. Nascar heat Series have the potential to compete with them, although for the moment, they are stuck in their own progress with no look in the future. Right now is just another arcade cars game, but I’m pretty sure this will change in future games.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas offers a new way of playing by joining external toys with a title that, although it is focused on the smallest of the house, for the high cost of its collectables falls short in terms of content and variety of missions. Even so, if your hobby is having a good time in front of the screen admiring the interplanetary beauty while you enjoy making a collection, this title is totally recommended.

The blue bomber has returned through the big door to the world of video games, to make clear that after three decades the franchise still has much more to give. With the introduction of new mechanics and elements to the series, in addition to the quality jump in the graphic section, Capcom has managed to bring us with Mega Man 11 one of the best games in its main saga, which will be able to captivate even the most fans of Rock as those who debuted in the series with this installment.

Although, the game has some flaws in certain aspects, this only leaves us wanting to see how they manage to overcome this result in a possible sequel, which will surely improve the experience of this great game, in which Spidey showed off like never before.

It's an impressive game, there's no lull in the entire story. It's full of emotions, with a constant fight inside Lara. The creators they have taken the evolution of the protagonist to a place which I particularly love. It's amazing how she's created her own path, how she has placed the foundations that make it and after all that, you can tell how easy it can be destroyed or how it tumbles to survive in her heart. World's fate is in Lara Croft's hands, and She looks so human, so sensitive and yet so dedicated and strong. All of these things make the shadows and the lights of the tomb raider, Lara Croft.

The debut of the film production company SpectreVision with Ubisoft, in the videogames industry, is a breath of fresh air for the VR games. Original, complex and adult plot that encourages the audience to reflect about what has actually happened. We only need to know if the film company intends to keep developing videogames or if this title has been only a narrative resource.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes from PC world to become one of the most complete RPG games in PlayStation 4 catalog. The best Formula 1 game ever made by Codemasters. It brings you a truly experience, very close to the reality, It doesn't affect thought to the feeling that you are actually playing a videogame, It's a funny experience. It's great to see the improvements in the career mode and the things they are putting on to improve the on-line multiplayer mode. There are details still left to enhance, like the after sessions, qualification and races interviews, they can turn into something repetitive, or they way classic cars are introduced into the game. Despite all of these, Codemasters has done a great work, for example, with the IA, the visual aspect it's great too and with introductions of different elements that have created the career mode something more fresh and original.
