The gravity zero new mechanic is more than enough for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to push away any doubt about it being just a big Borderlands 2 expansion. It is true that it uses most of its past elements, but it doesn't weigh down the experience. In addition, the excessive amount of content will give lots of gameplay hours to those who haven't made the gen-jump yet.

Strider comes back with a great sidescrolling game and awesome presentation. Arcade gameplay and average difficulty are its best assets... although Playstation 4 could do more.

Revelations 2's third episode offers more puzzles and riddles than the others. The best chapter at the moment, one that can make us remember the good old times.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition enhances its visuals in order to delight franchise's newcomers. Its abrupt driving style is still there, but the presence of all the DLC's and a long campaign mode can also draw in those who already played this game in the past generation.

Codemasters brings us a new Formula 1 title again this year, adding interesting options to this ever-entertaining racing competition. The inclusion of eight classic models and the new Scene mode are the most important new features, while the rest of novelties are in line with what we could see in the previous title.

Toukiden 2 repeats the same formula from Kiwami in almost every aspect. Open world doesn't feel bad, although it isn't something you will remember for long. There's still a lack of dynamism in combat, that are almost identical to the earlier entries in the franchise, that will not surprise anyone when it comes to visuals. There is potential here, but the series needs to evolve if it wants to have international repercussion.

Furi won't appeal to a wide range of gamers due to its above-average difficulty. However, we're eager to see more from this team that brings us their first PS4 game.

6 retro and well known games for 20 bucks. Plain and simple. The Disney Afternoon Collection brings adds enough content to be called a comeback, since these are ports of NES classics that will be especially enjoyed by those who played the original ones.

Screamer is a solid racing game packed with unconventional mechanics and a more story-driven approach. If you can master the mechanics and adapt to its steep learning curve, you might still enjoy it despite the inconsistent AI of the opponents.

War Thunder is a game you must play. After all, it's free. Even if you keep crashing, it can absorb you easily and you'll end up creating your own squad with your friends and find out that a flight simulator can be really amusing. Even the information details about planes can be interesting.

Of all of the HD remastered packs of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, 2.8 is probably the one with the least gameplay hours, but the one that fans will want to have the most, because of the innovative Birt By Sleep 0.2. This A Fragmentary Passage is 3 hours long and is more a visual and gameplay prelude of what we'll have in KH3.

Bungie has done a great job with Destiny, even though its project isn't complete as of yet. Its co-op proposal with some MMO details manages to entertain the user, even though it's not the revolution promised. It's audio-visual beauty has made it one of the standards in the gaming industry.

WWE 2K19 proclaims itself as the best wrestling game until this day. My Career, Towers and the great return of Showcase are enough to keep any fan of the WWE fighting for hours. The dynamic and challenging combats will hook veteran and amateurs fighters alike. There is no doubt at all that 2K has given depth to his wrestling simulator and open a new and exciting path for the franchise.

Dragon Quest Heroes II is a muosu with enough RPG elements to make it interesting even for those who don't like the genre. The possibility to change your character mid-combo, Toriyama's trademark style, amazing special attacks and the series' characteristic sense of humour make you forget dull, empty scenarios that you won't remember once you leave them. A perfect game for those who don't know what a musou is and don't want to jump into a classic one.

A good game with average visuals. Although it may seem easy to play, it's hard to master. Probably it's weakest aspect is that it abuses certain songs instead of different ones that give the game some variety.

A classic Assassin's Creed for good and bad. Direct and shorter content, a very successful setting and soundtrack, but with unsatisfactory combat in both direct action and stealth that harms everything else.

inXile Entertainment adapts Monte Cook's board game and brings some kind of spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment, with all its selling points focused in its charm and elaborated, deep plot. Memorable characters are waiting for you in a not so appealing turn-based combat system, more enjoyable in PC tan in consoles. It is not a game for the masses and its focus on dialogue over action make it a whole different species among RPG, only aiming for those who are already sure that they're buying it.

Apotheon, even with its issues, is still an interesting game. Visually amazing, its Metroidvania gameplay makes us choose our own path in order for it to be easier to enjoy. An outstanding soundtrack and some remarkable details, so if you're PS Plus subscribers, doubt no more, since it could be one of the best 'gifts' to date this year.

Saints Row IV offers varied missions and content, even though you will never stop feeling like this is just an expansion pack. The characters' charm and mischievous sense of humor will suit any fan of the saga, although the absence of any real novelty (both in the playability and graphics department) makes Saints Row IV a less satisfactory game than expected.

Tropic 6 is a game that will provide fun to those who acquire it for many hours. Its playability, game modes and graphic section are captivating. Given its characteristics, the game is ideal for newbies in this genre. If you do not have much experience playing video games of this type, you will love Tropic 6, if on the contrary you have already played many deliveries of this genre, Tropic 6 may seem a bit simple.

Burial at Sea - Episode 1 is Columbia's characters first approach to Rapture. There are plenty of interesting things at an argumental level - although you won't be losing anything of the main story if you don't play them. The visual impact keeps the level of the main game, but it is unnacceptable that the Spanish dubbing was worn out. It doesn't offer many hours, which could work to the detriment of buying it individually.

As DotEmu already accomplished with several comebacks of classic games, Winjammers, which costs $15 for a PS4/Vita Cross-Buy game, should offer more extras and a true visual overhaul. It is a 1994's game but with online and small extras. And even if it still works pretty well and will be many parties main attraction, it has that feel of a game whose main selling point is nostalgia.

Dragon of the North adds a new type of weapon, a new region, more missions, the chance to play as the female characters, new bosses and it is the prologue of what seems to be an intriguing new plotline. Perhaps it could have added more than just a big sword to offer more combat variety, although the balance of some old tricks to make things easier will force you to learn new moves in order to pass certain bosses, that's for sure.
