Whether or not you're a horse lover, The Sims 4 Horse Ranch is an Expansion Pack worth checking out. Horses lived up to expectations, being beautifully modelled and animated, not being overwhelmingly challenging to manage, and providing plenty of fun new gameplay. The mini goats and sheep add a little extra fun and cuteness as well. The world of Chestnut Ridge is perfect for the new gameplay in Horse Ranch and is one of the most scenic and tranquil worlds in The Sims 4. There was some great new stuff added in Create-A-Sim and Build Mode as well, although I feel some extra stuff could have been included. All-in-all, The Sims 4 Horse Ranch will give you a smooth ride in a classically rustic and tranquil setting.- KeenGamer

If I had to describe Front Mission 1st, I would say that it truly does feel like a war, or at least what I imagine one to be like. I'm too much of a coward to join the army. Battles are intense and exciting, but when you're supposed to be relaxing, things are annoying and cumbersome, and you always feel left in the dark when it comes to the true intentions of your superiors. Front Mission 1st does a good job of setting up an interesting world, one that I hope the impending remakes of its sequels build upon.- KeenGamer

City Limits is a puzzle-strategy game with low-stakes and high scores. It does only a few things, but it gets them right. The gameplay loop is there for anyone chasing high scores or a rewarding game to chill out to, and the aesthetic and soundscape is soothing. It takes a short time to experience the entire game, but you might want to stay a long time anyway.- KeenGamer

While lacking in graphical output and player customization, Nimbus Infinity gives mech enthusiasts a fun, quick ride through an interesting yet familiar story. The length of the game is a key factor for anyone short on gaming time who is looking for a few hours of entertainment. The 2D elements portrayed during storytelling appeal to fans of visual novels who want a more involved adventure while retaining the relaxed experience that visual novels provide.- KeenGamer

Deadliest Catch: The Game tries to make sure that it captures the spirit of deep sea fishing. It does have some success because the process of fishing is accurate. Unfortunately, the main appeal of Deadliest Catch: The Game isn't present. The lack of danger breaks the immersion and reveals the game as nothing more than a crab-catching simulator. Without much of a story or goal behind it, it's unlikely you can get much enjoyment out of this game.- KeenGamer

GYLT offers an emotional insight into the impact bullying can have on a child using thought provoking art to convey concepts of loneliness, anger and paranoia. This well crafted story links well with the simple gameplay mechanics, with an artstyle that fits the creepy atmosphere created through the soundtrack. All of this and an environment which urges you to explore in spite of the sparse selection of meaningful items to be found, GYLT is perfect for a horror fan looking for a more mellow game, and would work well as a first-time spooky experience.- KeenGamer

I was blown away by Tchia. I'm really glad I got the opportunity to play this incredible game, which has obviously been lovingly put together by an excellent team. There were one or two teething issues when I played Tchia, otherwise it was a flawless experience. Once I got into the game (which didn't take long), I became addicted thanks to the amazing open world gameplay and the story you eagerly get absorbed in. If you like games that has a bit of everything in it, such as exploration, music, collectibles and loads more, then Tchia is a great game to invest in.- KeenGamer

While Lunacy: Saint Rhodes succeeds at crafting a horror game full of interesting ideas and cool locations, it's a game that comes off as dull. It's unpolished in many areas and attempting to play it comes off as incredibly frustrating. With more time, it's possible that these issues could be remedied but as for now, only hardcore horror fanatics will be able to find enjoyment in this.- KeenGamer

The Book Walker: Thief of Tales plays with the tantalising premise of being able to physical engulf in a fictional world, however I found it to slightly under deliver in its execution. While the story is well-written and there are some intriguing plot points along the way, the gameplay slightly impedes on the enjoyment of the novels. That being said, each of the world's have their own fleshed out environments, characters and lore, and Etienne's story kept me hooked until the final pages.- KeenGamer

Gimmick! Special Edition is a re-release of the 1992 platform on modern systems but very much the same game as the one released in 1992. This re-release of the game brings some addition aspects which make the game more accessible while maintaining the original game's integrity. This means the game carries its best and worst aspects from its gameplay and level design to the arcade difficulty.- KeenGamer

Final Fantasy XVI is the definitive real-time combat experience of the series. It expands the horizons of the franchise and mixes the concepts of RPG and Hack & Slash into one masterpiece. Being by far the most epic installment of the franchise yet, it delivers an astonishing soundtrack, a dark-themed story with deep characters and relationships, and an unmatched feeling in combat that even the most experienced will be in awe with.- KeenGamer

Poly Bridge 3 is a perfectly serviceable game for the niche audience it is aimed toward, though probably won't find much success outside of that. It's a game in an expansive genre that turns regular jobs into entertaining video games, though leans more into comedy and exaggeration for added fun, which definitely helps its cause over others in the genre.- KeenGamer

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom improves on what many considered a masterpiece in Breath of the Wild. From expanding the locations you can explore, to the new abilities that give the player infinite control with their imagination, Tears of the Kingdom has it all. A few frame rate drops and inventory management can, at times, take away from the experience, but very rarely. Overall, Tears of the Kingdom is a must play for any fan of video games, and is an achievement that many games will strive to top for years to come.- KeenGamer

F1 23 is a remarkable racing experience that surpasses its predecessor in nearly every aspect. The improved physics and AI, along with new features such as the red flag and 35% race distance, Breaking Point narrative mode akin to Drive To Survive, and the Precision Drive Technology, which takes the driveability to a whole new level, all contribute to making F1 23 the greatest Formula 1 simulation game in the franchise's history. If you're into racing games, race culture, and the excitement of Drive to Survive, then you absolutely can't miss out on F1 23 - it's a must-have for any racing game fans!- KeenGamer

Burnhouse Lane offers a gripping and disturbing plot in which I was emotionally invested from the beginning. Charming characters, a creepy artstyle with some dashes of gore and distressing scenes accumulate for a unique horror story. Despite some clunkiness in controls along the way, the mechanics are simple, as are puzzle solutions. The moral complexities throughout create various outcomes for the game, making it tempting for a second playthrough. Also I don't think I mentioned, there are cats.- KeenGamer

Rogue Legacy 2 is a captivating, addicting, and truly unforgettable experience. It doesn't just improve on the first game, it renders it wholly obsolete. It's a truly amazing roguelike, one of the best in the industry. The art is beautiful and the combat is buttery smooth. Everyone should play this game. Especially if you love pizza. And who doesn't love pizza?- KeenGamer

If you like narrative games, then you'll like Inner Ashes. It's a memorable game that will take you on an emotional journey. The story of Henry and Enid is engaging and will drive you to play until the very end, and the gameplay will challenge you. The way that Inner Ashes portrays a character with Alzheimer's was very well done. Every element of the game came together to tell a moving story and also show what it's like to live with Alzheimer's. Inner Ashes is certainly one of those games you should consider playing.- KeenGamer

Brotato is a twin-stick shooter roguelite game where the player controls a potato character surviving on an alien planet. With simple but enjoyable gameplay, the focus is on movement, dodging bullets, and choosing the right power-ups. The game offers various characters, power-up combinations, and enemy types to unlock, providing a challenging and fun experience. Visually pleasing with clear graphics and adequate sound, Brotato delivers a satisfying and balanced gameplay loop.- KeenGamer

Trails Into Reverie is a fantastic game. It might be a tough nut to crack for newcomers to the series, and probably isn't the ideal place to start, but as someone who has had no prior exposure to the series I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game and became more and more invested as I played. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an epic and well-crafted RPG that will keep them entertained for a long time.- KeenGamer

Tour de France 2023 is polished enough to stand out in the sports simulation category, and it comes with some much-needed improvements over last year. However, the game is a bit too pricey for the changes alone, and it feels almost like its predecessor. Overall, it's a fun experience, but you'll be disappointed if you're looking for some major overhauls.- KeenGamer

Overall, I think Sweet Surrender VR is a good game, especially due to its mechanics. However, the content of Sweet Surrender could do with more polish. I recommend it to fans of VR games who are looking for a visually satisfying experience. Sweet Surrender gets the fundamental concepts right as a VR roguelike first-person shooter. Yet, the environments and limited enemy and weapon selection will have players grow tired of the industrial halls, cities, and laboratories. Sweet Surrender's constant stream of updates show a promising future, but also has to contend with other VR roguelikes such as In Death and The Light Brigade.- KeenGamer

Crash Team Rumble has the makings of a truly great, laid-back online game, however for the price players are paying, it is fair to expect more game modes and playable characters. With that said, new characters and a new arena are coming in Season 1, so the shortcomings may be resolved in the near future as more seasons come along. What we do have now is a whimsical, easy, and fun addition to the beloved Crash Bandicoot franchise.- KeenGamer

Yoku’s Island is worth exploring. There is the odd critique (dying at pinball?) - but the charming atmosphere and a well implemented mix of gameplay styles provide a very good time. The island of Mokumana has plenty of exploration, coupled with a few cool upgrades for Yoku to make it easier. Taking into consideration the right amount of collectibles and a story mode which doesn’t overstay its welcome and you’ve got a breezy, enjoyable adventure on your hands.- KeenGamer

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is clearly the definitive version of the classic title. This remaster adds many much needed quality-of-life fixes to the 2003 game, from the updated UI to the remastered graphics. This time around it is much more approachable, enjoyable, and the focus on relationships makes the experience stand out among the sea of farming games. However, these improvements can only do so much because the remaster fails to address the underlying problems of the original game. The long, slow days eventually blur together as the lack of strong side activities and festivals hamper the end result.- KeenGamer

Pro Cycling Manager 2023 is only meant for the most dedicated of cycling simulation fans, but the game itself is well-made, with no major issues. However, it can often feel like it was just last year's title from the same franchise, but with some necessary updates and a fresh coat of paint. As such, not all players will be willing to pay full price for some tweaks and a fresh new roster.- KeenGamer

Cruise Ship Manager is a simulator that demands your full attention when managing a cruise line. Everything from the preparation to the journey must be accounted for and you can't take your eyes away. While it is great to have control over every aspect of your ship, it does get exhausting after a while. An inability to queue commands and having to monitor for problems tires you out. The game's visuals are decent but if you try to put indicators it can slow down your performance. It's a simulator that is best for those who are good at micromanagement and don't like using much automation. Other players might want to stay away if that's not the case.- KeenGamer

While the original stories remain intact, they have been reworked and new ideas have been interspersed among them. Layers of Fear doesn't shy away from the dark side of the human mind, representing emotions and thoughts in sinister art forms. The visual enhancements are impressive, and a perfect excuse for fans wishing to visit the game again. The all-in-one package style of the reimagined Layers of Fear is also an effective way of introducing newcomers to the unsettling series.- KeenGamer

Hand of Doom is a game that perfectly captures the essence of old school RPGs and dungeon crawlers. The visuals, audio, gameplay, and story reflect what it is like to play games back in the 90s. If you don't mind cheesy dialogue, pixelated visuals, and some silly FMVs, you will enjoy this game. For players who aren't used to the dated experience, the lack of appreciation could ruin your experience. It might be better to pass the game up if that is the case.- KeenGamer

Liberté is a deck-builder rogue-lite top-down game set during the French Revolution with a twist of a body horror eldritch monster lurking around. Liberté is a game with great ideas that are never fully fleshed out. The story concept is really great and the art is amazing but the game itself is a buggy mess which gets way too grindy to be enjoyable. The potential is there but sadly yet to be realized.- KeenGamer
