Boyfriend Dungeon is worth the detour for its very catchy concept alone. After all, what other game will have you dating half-man, half-weapon people that you can wield in dungeons? The first hours of the Kitfox Games title are very eye-catching. But the studio struggles to keep the fun going. This is due to the dates that drag on and the phases of action that generally lack diversity, both for the "dunjs" and for the weapons on offer. However, it is hard to imagine not recommending Boyfriend Dungeon if you are looking for a refreshing title. A nice surprise.- Jeuxvideo.com

Combined with a concept that is both seductive and risky, the plot of 12 Minutes easily maintains interest even in its elements of resolution. Also if one feels Luis Antonio's imperfections in terms of technique, his learning from the great thrillers of cinema is just as visible. But the title divides between the frustration that can cause redundant loops and the quite captivating atmosphere of the place. If the game is as accessible in its mechanics as thorny in its timed puzzles, the experience will naturally be smoother for those able to progress by limiting loops.- Jeuxvideo.com

While art of rally is appealing on PC and Xbox Series X, this is unfortunately not the case for this Xbox One version. Against all expectations, the title, between ubiquitous clipping and unsightly textures, is far from living up to the Microsoft console. Fortunately, the driving element retains its qualities.- Jeuxvideo.com

With art of rally, Funselektor signs a magnificent love letter to the world of rallying by offering a demanding title that is as complete as it is pleasant. With its six destinations and about fifty cars with unique behaviors, the game simply makes you travel across the globe and through the ages. Unfortunately, the artistic direction does not fully assume its bias and the title is far too greedy, resulting in micro-freezes and many slowdowns, even on the largest machines.- Jeuxvideo.com

Pretty, smart, superbly set to music and intelligent in its mechanics of mixing cultures, these are many qualities that we can recognize in Humankind. While it does not avoid the pitfalls of many 4Xs, with parts that sometimes drag on or balance issues, it remains a refreshing take on the genre, which can be a nice gateway for newcomers. The veterans, for their part, will certainly perceive the shadow of Civilization which hangs a little too intensely over the aura of Humankind, but they will undoubtedly appreciate its originality and the multiple tactical approaches, for parts which they will follow without displeasing. . Humankind is undoubtedly a game that will gain depth and longevity over time, Amplitude being known to be attentive to community feedback and take care of the follow-up of its games.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's hard not to be charmed by Naraka Bladepoint. Its refreshing approach to the Battle Royale genre will convince the bravest, while the less patient will probably not have the temerity to go beyond a few hours. When we see the game design choices made by 24 Entertainment, we can only salute the nerve. It is therefore all the more regrettable to face a monetization unworthy of a paid game, present at all levels, and which will ultimately reward relatively little those who decide to really get involved.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its tempting line-drawn comic universe, Foreclosed has shown itself to be rather attractive over the thumbnails and changes of viewing angles. But gameplay as narration are seen too limited, providing an experience too on the surface, which ends abruptly without managing to engage us sufficiently in its yet attractive universe. And Foreclosed's shimmering paw has too much trouble to compensate for the pallor of its action phases.- Jeuxvideo.com

Axiom Verge 2 impresses with its level design. Its complex structure supported by two parallel worlds accessible at all times will offer a major challenge to aficionados of metroidvania. Too bad that gameplay inaccuracies spoil the party and cause frustrating situations. Without this, this second episode could easily have risen to the level of its predecessor.- Jeuxvideo.com

WitchSpring3 Re: Fine successfully enters the Nintendo machine. First, thanks to the visual and sound improvements made, which make the title a console game in its own right. Then thanks to the design of this opus, initially made for mobiles, which lends itself very well to the Switch. It allows you to get started both in short sessions and in parts of a longer duration, which is particularly suitable for those who take advantage of the nomadic aspect of the console to play as soon as they have a small niche. That said, the fault register is an optimization that lacks finishing, slowdowns and jerks follow us throughout the adventure. Nothing terribly off-putting though, WitchSpring3 is nonetheless a fun title to run through, with a combat system of unexpected depth and a story that holds up. Remains a fairly repetitive aspect which, if it can satisfy the followers of leveling up and crafting of objects, can put off the others.- Jeuxvideo.com

Accessible and with a generous lifespan, Shadowverse: Champion's Battle manages to provide an effective gateway to the Cygames card game. Coated with a good-natured universe, the title allows everyone to get used to the mechanics of Shadowverse thanks to many really useful aids. Unfortunately, the lack of a French translation prevents it from reaching the target younger audience, which makes it more suitable for those who wish to try their hand at a card game solo and on a laptop, preferably. Same criticism on the side of its disappointing technique, its too simple scenario and its structure a little too repetitive which have something to tarnish the experience. Not enough either to prevent the title from offering a nice introduction to its real end-game: Shadowverse on PC and mobile.- Jeuxvideo.com

After a few hours of playing, you quickly realize that Tribes of Midgard is trying too many genres at the same time and doesn't follow through on its ideas. This RPG-inspired survival Rogue-Lite offers some great things, but too many game systems lack depth to engage players. The excessive simplicity of the combat mixed with a loot and a minimalist crafting hard to forget the redundant and unbalanced structure of the experience. There remains a sympathetic and pleasant universe to explore. Too bad it is impossible to do it at your own pace, because it is mandatory to join the camp after dark.- Jeuxvideo.com

With absolutely sublime pixel art, lively and enjoyable gameplay all of its own as well as a dozen successful bosses and a nice replayability, it's hard to fault Eldest Souls. If you like demanding action games, you are going to be served. Maybe a little too much. To be choosy, we can say that the Fallen Flag studio is sometimes a little too happy on the difficulty.- Jeuxvideo.com

At first, Jonas Manke, with Omno, takes a seductive initiatory journey that we love to discover. Exploring this colorful universe offering pretty panoramas and inhabited by curious animals is a pleasure at all times, especially if our hero has all the possible improvements. But at first, the player must necessarily deal with a more capricious gameplay, with strange inertia, and face a formula that is struggling to renew itself.- Jeuxvideo.com

Of the good twenty hours Chernobylite will take you to lower the curtain, you will no doubt be absorbed by the thick atmosphere of the game, by the stories of its characters as well as that of yours, and will enjoy managing your base to offer food and shelter to your brothers and sisters in arms. If we regret a fairly limited amount of different environments, a confused combat part and an AI clearly not up to the task, this melancholy escapade in the heart of the exclusion zone is a good surprise, quite targeted concerning the public that it is aimed (FPS aficionados from the East, you are welcome), but oh so immersive and intriguing.- Jeuxvideo.com
