Despite a quite disappointing beginning, the story of Life is Strange 2 gets more and more intense and climaxes in the final episode, which concludes an incredible adventure that lasted more than a year.- Jeuxvideo.com

Without being frankly unavoidable, as much because of its rather poor ancillary content as the low contribution of new features that it brings to the original game, Peril on Gorgon nevertheless remains solid in the story it tells.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you're tired of going around in circles on the twelve tracks of WipEout HD and its Fury expansion or if you're just a thrill-seeker, Pacer is for you. Even if it does not manage to overtake the master, it will charm you with its inspired artistic direction, its substantial content or its sensations of speed. But you have been warned, while R8 Games' production has many qualities, the title also delivers many shortcomings. The handling of the game lacks precision, especially in the highest difficulties where it will necessarily be necessary to play double airbrakes to hope to escape unscathed, the HUD is particularly intrusive and the menus are not very ergonomic.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unfortunately, this HD Remaster version does not do justice to the original game with a technique that leaves much to be desired. If some additions make the experience more pleasant, such as the presence of a dub, we regret that this release does not take the opportunity to offer a more accessible experience to a new audience. Despite everything, 16 years later, SMT III retains its period charm and will keep Atlus fans waiting before the release of the fifth episode scheduled for this year.- Jeuxvideo.com

If Riders Republic may disappoint Steep fans (the title goes against the spirit of the game of 2016), this new production remains a must for all thrill seekers. With its many playable sports disciplines, starting with the bike which offers exhilarating sensations, its exotic world and its many modes available both solo and online, the latest production from Ubisoft Annecy will undoubtedly keep you busy for the long haul.- Jeuxvideo.com

Are you looking for a platform game that is both colorful and original? Then Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is probably for you! On this compilation which brings together the first two opuses of the Klonoa series, Bandai Namco and the Monkey Craft studio deliver a solid redesign work, especially notable on the founding part. Despite a simple technique, the levels are colorful and very enjoyable to navigate. Of course, the level design remains that of a title from the end of 1990 and the beginning of 2000, which is felt in particular on Klonoa 1. Despite everything, the epic is enchanting and finds its climax during the second episode. In short, a nice nostalgic parenthesis!- Jeuxvideo.com

While staying true to The Dark Pictures franchise, The Devil in Me attempts to innovate by incorporating an inventory system and characters with real-world expertise. By taking on America's first serial killer, the game manages to instill an interesting vibe with its "Castle of Murders." Unfortunately, and although we are curious about the fate of each of the protagonists, the title struggles to convince completely. The story takes a long time to start, the pace is a little too slow – despite some nice finds – and we feel little empathy for the characters, stereotypical as possible. If we add a gameplay that accumulates clichés seen and reviewed, The Devil in Me does not have the content of The Quarry or even of a House of Ashes. Despite everything, the formula works thanks to the place inspired by a real event and a finale rich in tension.- Jeuxvideo.com

Retro-futuristic in its art direction, The Outer Worlds 2 is more retro than futuristic in its approach to the RPG genre. While it boasts a host of accessibility options and incredibly responsive controls, this Microsoft-published title is primarily aimed at Obsidian fans who see certain aging RPG mechanics as a strength rather than a weakness. That said, the numerous improvements over the first installment, along with the choices that have real consequences, make it a shame to miss out on this excellent sci-fi epic with its unique tone, whether you're a fan of the young franchise or not.- Jeuxvideo.com

While FIFA 23's new set piece and power kick system won't appeal to everyone, version 2 of the Hypermotion engine does wonders for player animations and rendering. On the other hand, this opus improves the career mode in a beautiful way, especially when one embodies a player and tries to dust off FIFA Ultimate Team thanks to “Moments” and a new way of thinking about the collective. Something to shake up the regulars a bit. In short, if it does not revolutionize its formula, this FIFA 23 is one of the most complete in the saga before moving to EA Sports FC.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even though we find the same graphic style and some familiar areas, we feel a slight lack of artistic risk-taking, a somewhat recycled bestiary and menus that haven't changed one iota. On the gameplay side, class balancing still needs adjustments and world events like raids, rare terrains or cataclysms remain too rare to permanently break the routine. The communication system boils down to a ping that isn't always precise, and attempting the adventure solo borders on a feat, given the high difficulty and the need for a cohesive team. However, the game manages to create a strong addiction: even when a run turns into a disaster, we want to try our luck again to take advantage of our character's progression curve and the pride of defeating a boss. Nightreign won't appeal to all players, its severity and small flaws may frustrate more than a few, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the studio. It's a good start, we'll say.- Jeuxvideo.com

Toem is a very pleasant and relaxing game. Ideal for playing with the family, this little photography game is smarter than it looks, thanks to a simple, but effective concept, well-made little puzzles and a universe without artifice, but cute as everything. Very short and accessible, the title of Something We Made is undoubtedly what you need if you want to indulge in a peaceful experience, populated by characters as absurd as they are amusing. It doesn't go any further than that, doesn't pretend to, and that is undoubtedly very good.- Jeuxvideo.com

A comeback? Yes, we can say so. Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves is beautiful, fast-paced, and has a netcode that works perfectly for facing off against your friends or complete strangers online. There are certainly a few drawbacks, notably the choice of certain characters, Ronaldo in particular, and a story mode that is unfortunately rather anecdotal, but we readily forgive the 26-year wait given the quality of this production, which marks a spectacular return for this essential saga of the fighting game genre.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its innovative concept and charming artistic direction, the first title from independent studio Dreams Uncorporated has enough to convince fans of traditional turn-based RPGs looking for a unique experience with a solid foundation. In addition, the accessibility of the title represents an excellent introduction for those who would like to embark on their first J-RPG. Ultimately, Cris Tales sins mainly by some technical details to be reworked.- Jeuxvideo.com

With this third release on PS5 and Xbox Series, Grand Theft Auto V has never looked so good on consoles. 4K resolution, framerate at 60 frames per second, Ray-Tracing... This port effectively uses the technical capacities of next-gen consoles to offer the most pleasant rendering possible, in particular with greatly reduced loading times. Beyond that, GTA V remains what is, namely an incredible open-world filled with activities, but which dates from 2013 and which therefore shows the number of years on certain points such as facial animations. But more than the single-player mode, it's above all GTA Online that stands out as a winner from this arrival on PS5 and Xbox Series with the addition of a tutorial for new players, exclusive content and all the game's graphic and technical improvements. based. A port which is therefore intended for players of the online mode rather than those who finished the adventure of Michael, Franklin and Trevor years ago, for lack of major novelties.- Jeuxvideo.com
