LittleBigPlanet 3 is not a revolution, rather an evolution. Sumo Digital gives its contribution to the series with three new and really different characters and brings the players more naturally to the Creation workshop. Fine, but we're expecting something deeper now.

Future Soldier is the title that will reconcile players with the tactical origins of Ubisoft's IP thanks to intuitive game controls, useful gadgets and a well-balanced difficulty. The main campaign offers a breathless experience through ten dynamic missions, while the multiplayer remains entertaining despite its different game modes lacking in originality. The future of the tactical shooter is definitely preserved with Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

It's hard to give any notation to The Unfinished Swan, as it's another arty conceptual game from Sony Studios, with terrific ideas of gameplay. Unfortunately, those good features aren't going any further and you will probably finish it in about three hours. Some of you won't be interested in paying for such a short game, especially if you aren't of the poetic kind. For the others, it's an experience that deserved to be played.

Pokémon Let's Go! is truly a very good remake of the genuine Red & Blue versions with updated graphics and one of the best soundtracks in the IP. We weren't sold on the Pokémon GO capture system and found the endgame a bit empty.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners could have been a good VR survival game, but its shortcomings are too numerous to really appeal to anybody but the most hardcore of fans.

Professor Layton VS. Ace Attorney reach only half of its objectives. From a purely scenaristic point of view, the mission is rather accomplished, as Level 5 offers a great piece of story without going nuts with the cross-over stuff. Unfortunately, the two gameplays stay far from each other and never really mix. That's kind of awkward for a cross-over title.

Taking up the basics of the KOF XIV game system (which was a superb mix of the best 2D episodes), KOF XV never disappoints in terms of gameplay, with a depth rarely equaled. You obviously have to like the offensive game (quite the opposite of Street Fighter) and like this great mobility as well, which makes everything go very quickly.

Six years after the last LittleBigPlanet, the IP comes back as Sackboy A Big Adventure, but the game isn't as good as its legacy would lead us to believe. The DualSense isn't put to good use, and the game truly feels like a PS4 title. If you're looking for a platformer for a kid, it's still a good pick.

The Quarry fulfills two specifications perfectly: that of horror films and that of interactive films. You can therefore count on teenage characters as prey, scary sequences, a good dose of gore, many choices, multiple endings, and graphics that approach photorealism.

With no change to the game whatsoever, Capcom gives us an essential and intemporal game as Resident Evil 4 HD and still dominates other titles it has inspired. At last out on PC after years of begging from fans, this game is clearly the definitive edition of the title, with a motherload of content and a welcome graphics-lifting. We enjoy meeting Leon, Ada, Ashley, Saddler and Salazar again in their roles, and with a 20€ pricetag on Steam, this is tremendous value. The perfect time to discover a classic of videogame.

It's probably stupid to think that Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the last Naruto game CyberConnect2 is in charge of. But the Japanese studio developed it like it was its grand finale: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is deeper, richer and more beautiful than ever.

With one episode of Just Dance every year, it's obvious that you can not expect many changes for each of them now. Even if Just Dance 2014 is one of the best games you can share in a party, the IP is kind of stuck in its concept since Just Dance 3. Beware of the burnout.

Call of Duty: Warzone offers a very good gameplay, and a free-to-play experience that's closer to Apex Legends than Fortnite, but manages to keep that COD feels that much loved by gamers.

For such a small price, Olli Olli is a nice surprise. Pixel art is trendy and the game cashes on this to bring back "try and die" skateboarding gameplay. With 50 levels and 250 challenges, you may stick to your console for longer than expected sessions. It's a pity Olli Olli doesn't include true multiplayer modes.

While the overhaul of the diplomatic system is a very welcome feature delivered by Rising Tide, the uselessness of the hybrid affinities, the tediousness of moving aquatic cities and the quite impressive price tag of the extension only restricts it to the most hardcore fans.

If Resident Evil 3 is still a pretty good game, its content is way too weak and its multiplayer mode can't make up for the loss…Last year's Resident Evil 2 is way better, but the new Nemesis has its undeniable charm.

The Switch version of DOOM is actually a pleasant surprise with an unaltered gameplay that's still incredibly effective on a small form factor machine. On the other hand, the games boasts ugly graphics, suffers from low framerate at times and has a premium price tag compared to the other platforms.

In spite of it's completely outdated graphics, The King of Fighters XIV is still the new venture of SNK's combat game into the 3D era. And even if the visuals are quite poor, the title overcompensate with a massive roster (50+), state of the art gameplay and flawless multiplayer games.

Tales of Berseria inherits some of the problems and qualities from the previous entries: it's a 00's game from a technical point of view, but it's got a very deep fighting system. The most notable difference comes from Velvet and the darkness that surround her. At least, Bandai Namco managed to create an outstanding heroine.

It’s not the first time Link and Zelda step into Musou territory, but it’s the first time the whole thing actually feels good to play. The Switch 2 finally gives the genre the power it needed: big battles, smooth framerate, and that guilty pleasure of slicing through hordes of enemies without the game falling apart. Add a story that fills in gaps between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and the experience is surprisingly engaging. The downside is that the game sticks a bit too tightly to the Musou formula. Missions repeat themselves, objectives feel predictable, and the RPG layer barely adds anything. A few fun ideas (team attacks, character swapping, shoot’em-up moments) don’t fully break the routine. And visually, it’s uneven: the game runs great, but flat textures, aliasing, and blurry 720p cutscenes make it look more like a late Switch 1 title than a true Switch 2 showcase. In the end, Hyrule Warriors: Chronicles of the Sceal is a solid, enjoyable Musou with plenty of Zelda lore, but it’s still a conservative entry. Fun as a stress-reliever and nice for fans, just not essential.

Trials Rising is maybe the best game of the IP thanks to its social aspects, and it's easy to learn hard to master gameplay. We would have loved fewer microtransactions for the customization.

Gears of War Judgment looks like a transition episode and something bigger is probably waiting for us on Xbox 720. In the meantime, we'll have to deal with a disappointing campaign which only allows us to destroy waves of Locusts without being entertaining. Gameplay is still very accurate but some better things have been made elsewhere since the first Gears of War, and Judgment seems to be the game too far.

Halo Wars is a pretty good RTS which clearly targets the newbie player by offering plenty of modes that don't require to manage the economy. While the Halo side will appeal to the fans of the IP, the game is pretty much the only RTS available on consoles today. We doubt PC players will go for it as there are many better alternatives.

If you didn't already go thru the dark corners of L.A. Noire when it came out on PS3 and Xbox 360, now is the time to do it as the Motion Scan hasn't aged a bit even if the visuals aren't quite up to modern standards. A must play overall.

We suspected it a little, but it is sure now : Overwatch 2 is more an update of the first installment than a real sequel. Fortunately, the game became a free-to-play game and the news business model helps to forget this lack of new features and the fact that Blizzard has recycled a lot of things, like all the characters and stages.
