Though Ashes of Ariandel offers a new surrounding, new enemies and pretty challenging boss fights, there is nothing surprising or convincing about it.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is trying to do something, it can't. Shooting Nazis together can be a lot of fun, but without the dark and boundary-seeking humor, the strong storytelling and impressive cast, there is not much left of Wolfenstein.

Silent Hunter 5 is another decent game in the series with a few problems here and there. Especially the incomplete tutorial, the loading times and the lack of polish in some area’s are annoying. On the other hand, this game is so packed with content that you are guaranteed to be busy until Silent Hunter 6 comes out.

Afro Samurai stays close to the anime. It has some big flaws, but despite that, the game is still standing. The soundtrack is superb and the slow motion action will keep you entertained.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is to a certain degree pretty enjoyable but it simply never attempts to try anything special with the universe to which it is connected. It's absolutely not horrible and the true fans will definitely enjoy it but we hope the next game contains a bit more 'magic'.

Color Splash is a disappointing RPG, but the gameplay is still worth while thanks to its funny situations and inventive levels. It's such a pity the things we did not like about Sticker Star are back.

1-2-Switch will definitely get the party started, even though the quality of the minigames is low. The graphics and visual style are very attractive, but this game should have been a free launch game to show off the Joy-Cons.

Despite the interesting combo system, Killer Instinct offers too little at the moment. There isn't enough of anything, let alone characters, even though it is a blast from the past to rediscover those. If Killer Instinct ever gets 'more', it might find its way back to the top of the fighting game ranks.

Deception IV: Blood Ties is a weird B-game that’s mostly going on its witty and sickening traps. It’s great when you manage to get one trap sprung, only to have the victim bounce to another, and another, and another. The bad AI is a detriment to its charm though.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits brings all the components of the last five Guitar Hero-games, but doesn’t bring enough big to be called Smash Hits. It is a step back on visuals compared to the other Guitar Hero-games. However, the songs are good, so that is the only reason the game don’t get a bad grade.

Aliens vs. Predator seems to be an ok game at the start, but in the end it disappoints a bit. The AI of the enemy is dreadful and the story is predictable.

Codename Panzers: Cold War is a prime example of a ‘strategy light’ game. The balance between the different units isn’t that important. More important is how the player anticipates to changes in the environment. It’s the ultimate ‘appetizer game’, it’s edible, but it’s not as fulfilling as the main course.

Graphically speaking Fe is magical, but it is a bit buggy and too rough around the edges to really shine.

While The Crystal Chronicles has some interesting gameplay mechanics, is visually impressing and has an epic storyline, the majority of this adventure is forgettable, due to its annoying battle system, horrible controls and boring mini-games.

Sacred 2 doesn’t deliver, but I still had some fun with it. For a console fans it is pretty good RPG, but that is mostly because there aren’t many games like Sacred 2.

Dreamfall Chapters Final Cut pulls you straight into the intriguing world of politics, but it struggles keeping things interesting towards the end. The puzzle design is frustrating and the personal interactions with the Stark and Arcadia peoples get a bit boring after a while.

The stylish presentation of Blue Dragon Plus cannot hide the fact that the game is disappointing. Especially the stupid movement patterns of your characters are terribly frustrating and turn the fighting into a chore. An imprecise control scheme makes tactical fighting almost impossible, causing Blue Dragon Plus to be a mediocre game experience.

From a technological perspective, Undercover is a humiliating installment in the Need for Speed-series. The frame rate stutters, the open world is dead, and the story is laughable. Even then, Undercover offers some of the same over-the-top racing fun we have gotten used to, and the game will surely get your adrenaline pumping when getting behind the wheel of some of the hottest cars in the world.

The customizing of your own Mech, the good looks, the amount of weaponry, and decent story are all positive features of an average installment in the Armored Core-series. The missions and bland surroundings get repetitive after a while, and the fact that nobody plays the game online is a real letdown. All in all, Armored Core for Answer breathes mediocrity.

Exit still stands out as the unique puzzle-game it was on the PlayStation Portable, but escaping from all kinds of hazards is a lot less appealing with the sketchy and frustrating control system on the Nintendo DS. The amount of fun you’re gonna have with Mr. Escape depends on the height of your own boiling point.
