F1 Race Stars was a bit of a gamble for Codemasters and although they may not have completely pulled it off, it's an admirable attempt that should be appreciated for what it is – A much less serious excursion for the F1 license and a much needed injection of fun into a notoriously po-faced series.- Impulsegamer

At the end of the day, Dragonball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is an interesting game that provides plenty of fan service. If you have never played the series before, you might be confused by the over the top battles that for me is reminiscent of the excellent TV series Monkey Magic. Unfortunately like most Dragonball Z games, Ultimate Tenkaichi is a little like rock paper scissors when it comes to combat that focuses more on luck opposed to skill. Nonetheless, it's a fun romp through the Dragonball Z universe!- Impulsegamer

Omniverse is basic gaming in every sense, which isn't to say that younger Ben 10 fans won't enjoy the colourful characters, easy progression and co-operative play. Older gamers will tire of it quickly.- Impulsegamer

Fans of the Rollercoaster Tycoon series may find some level of nostalgia playing Tycoon 3D, but if they were waiting for a genre defining entry, this certainly isn't what they're looking for.- Impulsegamer

So here we are again with another instalment from the Far Cry universe that definitely goes beyond the previous games. With a relatable protagonist, a story that truly draws you in from the very first moments of the game, Far Cry 3 also contains a very sturdy game engine that almost makes it the perfect game. It just flows so well from the first to the last level... and the vehicles are just awesome.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two is not a bad game per se but it's also not a great arcade experience. The game itself feels a little too Wii-like in not just the presentation but also the way it has been programmed on the PS3. It just doesn't feel complete. Not being negative, there are still some great moments in the game and exploring the strange stages of The Wasteland is a joy. Unfortunately the frustrations of the game, especially when it comes to your AI component and the controls does become a chore in the end.- Impulsegamer

This is a very professional and well done title, and the end of the day, it is still a brain training game. It is not pushing any boundaries. Everything that it sets out to do, is done well and as Nintendo has shown this sort of game works with the hand held.- Impulsegamer

Borderlands Legends doesn't live up to the Borderlands family name. The game could've been good, since it fits perfectly in the Borderlands style. However the game never succeeds in finding the right balance between shooting and tactical gameplay. Also the game is never really challenging and has some annoying technical issues.- Impulsegamer

Rift has always been an immersive contender in a market that is tough to compete in. Yet not only has Rift survived, it has flourished - well enough to support an expansion, and Trion Worlds shows love for their game's community with this monster of an update. Many players swear by Rift, and with such a strong and lovingly-crafted expansion, it seems likely that the number will grow. If you already play Rift, then by now you know what an awesome addition Storm Legion is to the game. If not, consider this deep and complex MMORPG a worthy contender for your time.- Impulsegamer

So the game is all in all darn fun. Longtime fans may be disappointed though with the short campaign and long in the tooth engine. I feel it does the job well and soldiers on…. Final run down is there has been some touch ups done on graphics, though not enough to be noticeable to any huge degree; whatever it lacks in overall graphic pizzazz, it more than makes up for in the fun factor. Touch ups have been done on the Prestige system and perks as well.- Impulsegamer

Rising above many of the system's shortcomings, areas of the game may fall into some of the same traps many developers find themselves in due to the Kinect's limited capabilities, but when the game works it provides one of the most engaging and immersive titles available, inventively putting the technology to great use. It's just a damn shame about that irritatingly inaccurate precision tracking.- Impulsegamer

Assassin's Creed: Liberation is quite the system mover that it had been hyped up to be. The game looks good but does not run very smoothly. It was good to see the touch controls implemented well. This is a solid experience for the hand held but really is up to the same standard as the other releases in the series. This is one for those looking for something for fans of the series and are after something that can be taken away from the television.- Impulsegamer

If you're looking for a karting game that seriously goes beyond Mario Kart than Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ticks all the right boxes and enhances the genre considerably. It's just a fun game that contains a strong single-player mode and some great online options. The levelling system works but more importantly, the gameplay is almost flawless.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Sports Champion 2 is a fun game that definitely targets the casual/family audience. Solo is okay but where the game shines is through local multiplayer as you play golf, ski and box your way to victory. If you're after a good PlayStation Move game, than this is it probably it for 2012!- Impulsegamer

If you're looking for a serious Theme Park Creator, unfortunately Moshi Monsters - Moshlings Theme Park is not that game but if you're a younger gamer looking for a collection of good to mediocre mini-games, than this may be your solution. Also, as the game is targeted at the younger gamer, the value for gameplay feels just right. Unfortunately the title is a little too repetitive for my liking however.- Impulsegamer

If you played last year's WWE '12, there are probably enough tweaks to purchase this new version of WWE (13). However as a gamer, I would probably recommend this title to those WWE fans who have missed the last few years because it definitely makes this game more enjoyable if you have been out of the loop.- Impulsegamer

Mark of the Ninja is a refreshing approach to the stealth genre, which has seen its fair share of mediocre hybrids of stealth and action over the years. Although it might be a little frustrating as the difficulty level at the beginning of the game is set rather high, once you get the hang of the controls (which are a little awkward) and you've discovered the best ways to take out your enemies, it's an extremely enjoyable experience that warrants a second play through in order to discover all the possibilities.- Impulsegamer

With a little more time in the developing stage Medal of Honor: Warfighter could had been something that EA had hoped for, but with the fast turnaround times they expect, the game just failed for the most part. While it's not Thor: God of Thunder (the worst game I have ever played) it just doesn't live up to other games in the same genre.- Impulsegamer

Mechner's earlier dreams of being a screenwriter are evident in the Last Express : it's an engrossing tale of war, espionage, personality clashes. In fact, unsurprisingly, it would make a great movie. Despite its age, It makes a pretty good game as well.- Impulsegamer

There is plenty of levels that will take hours to get through, it is ultimately a repetitive experience, it can also be very addictive. There is a lot to do here, it is a premium price point for what is a simple game with simple and addictive game play. If you are looking for an enjoyable pick up and play title for the Vita this may be the one for you, simple to play with a steady difficulty curve.- Impulsegamer

Assassin's Creed 3 is a carefully crafted game that does border on perfect in terms of this franchise. The new protagonists are interesting and more importantly, the story and gameplay flows together perfectly. For some reason, the story in AC3 is easily the most compelling of the lot and even when you're finished, you could easily play the game again. Add in a sturdy multiplayer mode and Assassin's Creed 3 is a must have game to get you through to Christmas.- Impulsegamer
