Even with new things once in a while thrown at you; there were the same objectives in each room feel to it repeated over and over again. Thankfully the different enemy, and the area map looks provide a bit of change, but not by much. For a pick up and play and walk away distraction Hexodius fits the bill and is a solid arcade game.- Impulsegamer

Freedom Fall is an absolute joy to play. Gamer involving enough to get interested, though past time designed so that a gamer could turn to it for a bit of get away from the real world relief.- Impulsegamer

Limbo has made the leap to iOS admirably, losing nothing in the translation and only minor quibbles with the jumping mechanics really stand out enough to drop the score slightly. Indeed, Limbo is surprisingly well suited to the sporadic habits of the handheld gamer, with well thought out checkpoint placement allowing you to tackle a few quick puzzles at your leisure whenever you have a spare minute or three and the spine tingling aesthetic of the game benefits greatly from the intimate nature of handheld gaming.- Impulsegamer

Magic 2014 doesn't exactly offer a wealth of content - the campaign modes are short and the Sealed Mode is especially limited - but the 2014 card set seems to be well represented and Stainless continues to hone the interface and game modes with each annual release.- Impulsegamer

Wargame: AirLand Battle is a great game for those that enjoy realism in the planning and execution of skirmishes and battles. It will certainly present a challenge to those used to diving straight in and getting to grips with the nuances of the games with little effort. This is definitely a game that requires your full attention from the get-go and will provide lasting fun through the campaigns and into the multiplayer component.- Impulsegamer

Home is an impressive narrative experience that challenges players to construct their own story; it may be short but it’s definitely a case of quality over quantity and offers an exciting glimpse into the future of storytelling through interactive mediums.- Impulsegamer

If you’re not into real time strategy, this game won’t change your mind. There isn’t a huge difference between COH2 and its 2009 original, just prettier graphics, and a new campaign. However if snow and shooting Germans is your thing, snap this up immediately.- Impulsegamer

My final thoughts of the game are... Pick up something better. There are way better titles that do this sort of gameplay all day long even in the bargain bin.- Impulsegamer

As terrible and overused as this statement is, Remember Me is definitely not worth remembering, from a gameplay perspective at least. It’s unpolished, unoriginal and can be found done much better in games before it.- Impulsegamer

Unlike Duke Nukem, Deadpool works in the 21st century thanks to some strong game mechanics and although it may not be Batman Arkham City, it does come close in terms of fun and over the top battles.- Impulsegamer

Neverwinter is definitely one of the best Dungeons & Dragons games that we have seen using the MMO archetype. The world is quite descriptive and the developers ensure that it is well linked to Dungeons & Dragons. Although at times, it is a game of grinding, Neverwinter for us is more about exploration and team work which definitely has us addicted.- Impulsegamer

The control issues should be easily rectified by an update in the future and the slightly underwhelming story does little to distract from the gleeful destruction and chaos that forms the crux of the title.- Impulsegamer

The skittish handling and lack of assists may deter some racing fans but for those looking for a gorgeous racer with depth and a true challenge, GRID 2 is a tidy little gem that will provide countless hours of enjoyment.- Impulsegamer

If you have a hankering for a Western Video Game or need something a little different than the classic Red Dead Redemption than Call of Juarez Gunslinger is for you that successfully manages to refine this genre and include a few tricks up its sleeve. Add in the great price and there's very little to complain about.- Impulsegamer

Overall The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is a solid action rpg with a few issues that are too be expected on a first try such as a lack of a replay option, quirky animations and sometimes rough combat.- Impulsegamer

It appears to be aimed more at newcomers to the genre rather than hardcore RTS fans, but it is sure to please both camps. With its simple controls and game play, it is a fun game to play in short bursts.- Impulsegamer

Overall I would recommend this game if you have a few hours to kill and don’t want to play anything overly complex. It’s a fun game with solid controls and intense boss fights. Whether or not it is worth the price tag is really hard to make a call on; perhaps buying the game when it’s on sale through steam is the best bet.- Impulsegamer

Having played the previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon title, I found Gates to Infinity a cut down version of traditional Japanese RPG titles, especially the roguelike genre which seems like it has been watered down. The premise of the game is definitely there but it seriously needs some tweaking and additional Q&A which is a shame as the Pokémon franchise is so fun.- Impulsegamer

Metro: Last Light is a bold symphony to the senses. Deep Silver is the new bringer of AAA titles, now they have a lot to live up to. As the saying goes, you are only as good as your last game release. Deep Silver is now the one to watch.- Impulsegamer

Technical issues aside and unfair difficulty in some quests don’t stop Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen from being an enjoyable and exciting RPG. While fans of the original may feel ripped off with the lack of any game changing enhancements, a lowered retail price suggests that Capcom is reaching out to newcomers who will get the most out of this release. To those newcomers I strongly suggest giving it a go.- Impulsegamer
