Decent platforming, unfortunately overshadowed by parts that want to make you rip your hair out. In a game with so many cheap ways of killing you, frustration plays a large part.

Battlefield 4 is the latest instalment in the Battlefield series created by Dice and is the first in the series to utilise the Frostbite 3 engine. It is the latest in the stream of modern military shooters.

Black Flag is a remarkably new take on the series, and I would go as far to say it’s the finest entry we’ve seen to date.

Dragon’s Crown is a fantastic addition to the RPG genre, bringing an original personality that’s hard to ignore. With an amazing amount of content, this is one game that’s worth the grinding it demands.

In conclusion, Sonic Lost World is an above average game on the 3DS that unfortunately has a few issues with the control system which sometimes challenges the gamer when the clues or pathways are not that clear in the gaming world.

The developers of F1 2013 should be commended on the amount of realism they have incorporated into this racing simulator. With a variety of different gaming modes, detailed graphics and gameplay that is almost flawless.

The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker HD once again proves that the HD remakes have a place in this modern world of gaming. They've tweaked the gameplay and graphics to create an almost new experience that Zeldaphites will enjoy and new comers will be captivated by the wonder and enjoyable stories and characters that they met.

Skylanders Swap Force definitely takes this franchise to the next level up that we had a ball playing. It may not be as refined as Disney Infinity (I guess it does help when you have the Disney vault of characters available) but in terms of local and online play, there's something quite enjoyable about seeing your action figures come alive in the virtual world.

Sure, there are a few plot holes and clichéd moments in Beyond Two Souls but like Heavy Rain, it may become one of your most memorable gaming experiences to date.

In the end, Rain is a beautifully crafted game on the PlayStation 3 which proves that sometimes less is more. It is well narrated and features some sturdy gameplay that I could happily recommend to all gamers who want something a little different. Given that, Rain is also an emotional experience that successfully draws the player into this dream like world of rain.

Girl Fight is as generic as any fighting game can be. The developers have attempted to cash in on the sexualised nature of the female fighters but unfortunately the game lacks any soul, especially with the more mainstream fighters currently available.

FIFA 14 is a fun game and will appeal to football fans as the classic style of gameplay, aside from the frenetic tempo of the matches, largely remain and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat still tastes as sweet as ever; it’s just a shame that it all feels so familiar.

FIFA 14 on iOS is a very fun game! Although it's free, you do need to dish out a one-off purchase to open the full game modes. However it's definitely worth the price, especially with over 600 licensed teams, 33 leagues and real players. If you don't believe me, download the game to check it out and I bet before long, you'll be making that one-off purchase!

It's a shame that the game does not have full licensing rights but if you're a fan of soccer, you really need to check this game out, especially for its local and online gameplay.

A Realm Reborn is everything Square Enix wanted FFXIV to be and more, with a unique class system that gives players a freedom that’s not found in many MMORPGs today. It’s fun, it’s pretty, and Square Enix is 100% forgiven.
