Vendetta Forever is a unique VR experience in which each enemy is delicately placed and each level is set like a chessboard. The cinematic action and wild variety of scenarios and possibilities encourages arcade veterans to replay each level to get the perfect score and utmost equilibrium between muscle memory and strategic thinking.- Impulsegamer

Black Ops 6 returns the series to a revitalized and empowered state after several years of ho-hum entries. The campaign is pleasingly varied, the multiplayer contains a slew of fantastic modes and is very moreish, and Zombies is as furiously challenging as ever, making Black Ops 6 a winner on all fronts.- Impulsegamer

I quite like the approach of playing a human existing in this world of monstrous beasts. The sense of scale can be quite impressive and certainly makes you wonder just what it would indeed be like if these creatures existed. The general gameplay is fun enough, jumping about and breaking through walls to reach new areas. Combat is challenging enough but not too hard and even the frustrating monster events aren’t so long that they are insurmountable. A decent bit of fun for a pretty reasonable price.- Impulsegamer

Clock Tower: Rewind is not going to set the world alight but for those who have been longing for an official Western release for decades, are interested in game preservation and history, or are wondering what all the fuss is about this is one mansion in the woods you’ll want to visit.- Impulsegamer

An occasionally subtle, but nevertheless substantial upgrade to the original Horizon Zero Dawn that, while I don't necessarily think it's an upgrade that needed to be made, I'm glad it was.- Impulsegamer

Just like the Metal Slug franchise in general, Tactics is ultimately stacked with a silly joy that’s hard to deny. Getting to see fan favourites together again will give long-term fans plenty of reason to pick this up, and fans of difficult tactical titles will have enough to get their teeth stuck into. Some things may work better than others, but there’s always room for a good strategy game, and Metal Slug Tactics is easily up there with the best in recent memory.- Impulsegamer

Miraculous: Paris Under Siege is a game about pure simple fun. From the generous checkpoints and no consequences when you lose all your health to the extravagant combat that feels awesome and the showboaty flair during traversal. The game is a perfect example of why the show is as popular and loved as it is and fans are lucky to get a game that is so genuine to the heart of the series. The only way you can enjoy Miraculous: Paris Under Siege more is to play co-op mode with a friend or family member for an even better miraculous superhero time. With fun gameplay, true to nature graphics, and valiant music, you can never lose with Miraculous!- Impulsegamer

If you pick up Empire of Ants for any reason, it shouldn’t be the obvious one. Of course, it’s gorgeous, and perhaps one of the most visually stunning games I’ve ever played, but there’s a simple charm to its gameplay and overall worldbuilding that deserves to be experienced by as wide an audience as possible. Whether leading a charge of warriors into battle or simply standing on an abandoned bottle and watching your colony do its thing, there’s something so special about Empire of Ants that makes it an absolute joy to experience.- Impulsegamer

Farmagia is an action adventure RPG where you reap what you sow…literally! Plant and grow creatures to accompany you on your quest to save the Underworld from a dishonorable monarch and his battalion of monsters. Farmagia’s unique approach to the genre may raise some eyebrows, but successfully creates a fun time with its interweaving gameplay components. Not only does the game’s anime style, challenging quests, and interesting story effortlessly garner attention, but the quality and quantity Farmagia is able to cultivate succeeds in making it a must play hit.- Impulsegamer

It gives faces and names to far more of your giant ship’s crew, it finally lets you explore it, it adds a great subplot and companion, and it even adds the best music track in the game– the bumping tech choir sung in the Astropathic Chapel. On the box, it says Void Shadows adds an extra 15 hours of content, but if you’ve beaten the game already, it’s more like an extra playthrough. And for everyone else, you’d be cheating yourself by not buying it from the get-go.- Impulsegamer

Undisputed is the long overdue return of a traditional boxing title on consoles, one with a great license but lacking in execution. Perhaps a bit over ambitious in what it was trying to accomplish, the game could benefit from some more gameplay testing and a true identity.- Impulsegamer

The retro game style seems a great choice for The Rocky Horror Picture Show game, the side scrolling and chip tunes almost create their own Time Warp! Though some game play elements can be annoying and frustrating to have to attempt over and over… the fact there is no death means it’s not nearly as annoying as it could have been. For fans of the musical or the movie there’s enough here to give quite a few grins of acknowledgement. A nice little game that’s not too pricey, not overly long but a decent bit of fun with some enjoyable familiar tunes in chiptune style. Grab it if you’re a fan of the show or just enjoy sidescrolling platformers.- Impulsegamer

More or less, Dread Delusion appears to be the work of one man, James Wragg, and with a little help, he’s handled practically all of it. It makes sense then, why one aspect of the game is far better than the rest– the visual design, as he’s a visual designer. But it means that every other aspect is playing catchup while he learns them from scratch. The result is a game that would be better as set of postcards– the game looks deceptively cool from the Steam Store page– but if Dread Delusion is great for anything, it’s great for the game Lovely Hellplace will make next. A game with a bigger budget, team, and (hopefully) more inspiration, innovation and attention to detail.- Impulsegamer

Reynatis is made up of a lot of fun ideas that are unfortunately very hit and miss in execution, running questionably poorly on its hardware target. There's fun to be had with the game, but not for this price tag, nor on the Switch.- Impulsegamer

Voidwrought is a simple but fun Metroidvania with rich and amazing lore. Even though the game lacks a certain thread of story to follow and becomes unbalanced halfway through the game, its magical soundtracks and strangely beautiful art style are effective enough to give it a try.- Impulsegamer

Super Mario Party Jamboree is a game for the whole family. It’s filled with over 100 minigames, responsive controls, and graphics that truly pay homage to what Nintendo is. This is one title that will have you coming back for more and more. Just be warned that some games can go for several hours, so if you have the time and are looking for something fun to play with your friends and family, Super Mario Party Jamboree is definitely that title on the Nintendo Switch.- Impulsegamer

A worthwhile retro survival horror experience that utilizes every inch of its three-to-four hour runtime while paying homage to the greats. Even though it's lacking in scares, it manages to enthrall with its excellent brain-scratchers and deft design decisions. A small and successful slice of survival horror.- Impulsegamer

Gargamel seems to be a mighty sorcerer, though he has a low budget – the patches on his robe are telling. The Smurfs – Dreams also seems to have had a low budget, but the game, in turn, doesn’t need any patches. It’s beautiful and enjoyable – I simply recommend it.- Impulsegamer

Rogue Flight is a promising arcade space shooter that doesn't operate very effectively. It's stale attempt at a story, lack of variety, and other poor elements overshadow the intense and one of a kind gameplay ideas. It feels like all the parts are here, but an extra push could generate something special.- Impulsegamer

Outside of some subtle AI and graphical tweaks, NHL 25 seemingly took a year off in advancing the series. It looks and plays slightly better, but struggles to cope with its new much slower speed identity. There’s just nothing here screaming ‘first day purchase,’ but – while very similar to NHL 24 – remains a solid offering.- Impulsegamer

Metaphor: ReFantazio is one of this year’s best games and another home run for the Persona team. Though technically a new IP for the studio, Metaphor feels like a refinement of the heady blend of tight turn-based combat, superb world-building, and clever time management systems their spellbinding JRPGs are known for. Even more important though, it’s a game with heart and something worthwhile to say. Though it may be Fantazio, Metaphor successfully holds a mirror up to our world and all its injustices, while proposing that a better, fairer, kinder one is within reach if only we dared to take hold of it.- Impulsegamer

Kill Knight is a magnificent arcade game. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it perfectly puts mechanics from other famous and successful action games next to each other to create a unique and satisfying gameplay loop. This is one of the few games out there that needs your 100% attention while you’re playing it and makes your time fly! With difficulty modifiers, in-game challenges, and quite a few weapons and items to unlock, Kill Knight is also a title with high replayability and a dream come true for arcade shooter fans.- Impulsegamer
