In conclusion, Lucidity is an interesting game that tries to break the boundaries of gaming and offers both casual and hardcore gamers something totally different that not only proves quite fun but also quite relaxing.- Impulsegamer

Overall it’s quite a bit of fun and the lure to unlock the next item or character is there… but it also ends up being very repetitive very quickly. It’s certainly great to leave in your gaming collection for when you want a quick fix of puzzling… but you may find that five minutes or so you figure you can spare, ends up stretching a bit longer as you chase the next goal. It’s worth a play… but I’m not sure it’s quite worth the price tag for what it offers.- Impulsegamer

I’m not sure how many new converts this will attract but it’s a fun enough experience for Doomheads, even if it falls short of Doom VFR or the flatscreen experiences; exploring the spooky environment is actually worth your time if you enjoy survival horror but, again, the anachronistic gameplay doesn’t quite work here and the game is definitely showing its age in both design and graphics.- Impulsegamer

“Disintegration” has so much potential but due to being such a radical approach to combining two very different gaming genres, I believe that more work needs to be done in order to balance and strengthen the core mechanics. However, in saying that, I have found myself quite intrigued by the developing story and wanting to know what happens next. I wouldn’t call “Disintegration” a bad game, but I would like to see what the developers do with possible future titles. I also believe that “Disintegration” would have made a brilliant VR game but perhaps that is something we might be able to experience at a later date.- Impulsegamer

With over 50 sporting events, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games offers some great replay value for the end-user, although it can become a little repetitive. If your expecting a full game experience like on the Wii or PS3, this is definitely not the title for you but if you're looking for a collection of fun and sometimes forgettable mini-games, than there's enough content in this game to keep you entertained.- Impulsegamer

Scarf certainly is an enjoyable experience; its combination of engaging story and strong environments are enough to keep the player absorbed for its four hour campaign. But due to its commonplace gameplay, it doesn’t do enough to make it a true standout in the genre. But regardless of its issues, Scarf is for those wanting a leisurely and fantastical escape from the troubles of the world; something we could all use from time to time.- Impulsegamer

With a critical view of modern spiritual cults and quite a few good jump scares, The Chant’s story-driven adventure is a remnant from the old days when AA survival horror games such as Alone in the Dark and Fatal Frame were not forgotten. The story is interesting enough that I do believe its telling could have been handled a bit better. I think that there should have been concession to story with end level saves and the ability to continue the story from the level you were on when you finished. This could have been turned on or off depending on how hard the player wanted to push themselves. Overall I’d still encourage people to get West of Dead. It would be one of the most enjoyable roguelike games I have played in a long time, and if those little niggly issues are ironed out then I think a lot of people are going to enjoy the challenge and story of this really cool game.- Impulsegamer

The return of Hot Wheels has brought with it mixed results. The racing action is undeniably exciting and pulse-quickening, which correlates wonderfully with the nostalgia of using the real-life playsets, and the are plenty of models to collect that you’ll feel spoilt for choice. However, Turbocharged is weighed down by overfamiliarity, unambitious race modes, on-track frustrations, and a sense not enough has been done to evolve this sequel. On a base-level, Turbocharged is a pleasure to play, but Milestone should try to stop toying around with this franchise, it’s got the va-va-voom to be something special, but unfortunately Turbocharged isn’t quite it.- Impulsegamer

Overall it’s a lot of fun to play… it’s clearly not meant to be taken seriously so if you really want your show down at the O.K. Corral you may be waiting a bit longer yet. But if you like the idea of a stylized shootout with a bit of humour and a large dose of fantasy then you could certainly do worse than this. It’s a pretty decent price as it is but I’m sure there will be a decent discount in a Steam sale at some point… but if you’ve got a few spare dollars hanging around and you want a bit of fun… give it a go.- Impulsegamer

It’s a game I can sink a few hours into here and there. But after that, I feel like it’s just going to sit on my self, incomplete. It’s one of those games that takes you months to finish, because the moment to moment entertainment is good. But the depth, the heart, the soul. Just isn’t quite there. I definitely recommend the game for fans of the mecha or turn based RTS genres, but I’d personally wait for a sale.- Impulsegamer

Robinson the Journey is an interesting game on the PlayStation VR that successfully creates a virtual world, however it does have some limitations that includes the graphics, part of the gameplay and at times fiddly controls. So if you have push aside these limitations, the game does give you a sense of freedom and is a step in the right direction for the future of VR titles. My Friendly Neighborhood is the kind of creepy I like; it takes the mundane and twists it just enough to feel threatening. It’s also the kind of game that wears its inspirations on its sleeve, a silly mix of Resident Evil and Sesame Street with a hint of Bioshock. Which, unfortunately, extends to a final act that doesn’t quite live up to the promise of its earlier chapters. Regardless, there’s still a lot to love about this fuzzy fright fest, and if you’re a less violent Resident Evil variation, or simply something as silly as it is spooky, you can trust the Szymanski’s to tell you how to get to My Friendly Neighborhood.- Impulsegamer

Despite the lack of polish the game is actually quite good, the story is still interesting and the game play is just ‘ready to go’. There is no need for learning a complicated control system, or hours of investment to identify how to identify the tactics to fight enemies, just load it up and start shooting. This game can offer a great escape for anyone who wants to spend the casual 30-60 min gaming session at the end of a long day of work without using any brain cells. The repetitive nature of the battle system and scenery will make most players feel like they have mastered the game play very quickly and the story element breaks up this monotony enough to sustain most players attention.- Impulsegamer

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is starting to climb my list of favourites from Telltale games, and for fans of this genre I would definitely recommend it. There are a few fantastic “oh crap did that just happen?” moments which I wasn’t expecting and I am eager to find out what happens next. Although it is a little frustrating not knowing the release date of the next episode.- Impulsegamer

Despite shaking things up a bit with the introduction of aerial combat to multiplayer, The War Machine is essentially no better or worse than most other Call of Duty expansions.- Impulsegamer

Well worth a look if you’re a fan of Naruto or alternative takes on the classic beat-em-up formula, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution offers up a refreshingly unique, albeit flawed, gaming experience.- Impulsegamer

Overall Hitman Blood Money Reprisal is a very strong port and a welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch library whilst not without its flaws it still manages to offer up plenty of replay-ability and addiction to satiate the blood lust of all us budding Hitmen and Women, without overstaying its welcome. Also with the Quality of life improvements it has brought the game closer to how the more modern titles are played without totally removing itself from the source material.- Impulsegamer

Shadows Awakening is a solid ARPG with a deep lore and engaging story. Tragically, a few outdated elements bog down its fun and unique combat system.- Impulsegamer

Ariana sets out to restore lost magic by diving into enchanted books and repairing the worlds inside them. Along the way, you build up a versatile set of spells and take on a mix of platforming challenges and strategic battles. It’s a straightforward but enjoyable adventure that balances style, action, and steady progression.- Impulsegamer

Super Mario Maker 3DS is a fun game on this console that offers some really fun gameplay and more importantly, the ability to create your own 2D arcade worlds with an intuitive creation system. However the downside of this title is the lack of sharing your creations with other players from the around the world and if this was included in Super Mario Maker 3DS, it would have been a fantastic game on this console. It’s still a fun game but is missing that final piece of the gaming puzzle!- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash is well presented on the Nintendo Wii U and evolves the original N64 game into a worthy next-gen version. Sure, it is lacking some replay value but if you’re looking for multiplayer and online fun, this is the perfect game for those short bursts of fun as you “grand” slam your rackets against your Mario opponents, especially in MEGA BATTLE!- Impulsegamer

Retronika is an action and racing shooter that delivers on a lot of fronts. Threading through traffic is demanding in VR at first, but becomes more fun the further you get into it and unlock more upgrades. While the game is easy to put down due to its start and stop style of gameplay and overall casual design, the one of a kind and eccentric nature is delightful to experience.- Impulsegamer

G.I.JOE: Wrath of the Cobra is a competent, if unremarkable beat 'em up that doesn't stand out in anyway beyond the attached IP. Let down by repetitive combat and lacklustre enemy variety.- Impulsegamer

Overall, I started the game with a bit of skepticism since I was only familiar with it’s turn based system which I quite enjoyed for the setting it was in, as it presented you with time to think and was more of an RTS, tactical kind of approach which I enjoyed greatly. At first it was a little odd to adjust to, but the faster pace gameplay fits the setting better than a turn based system would with all the options for combat they’ve put in and it actually gets quite addicting to play the different class roles, I miss the old play style, but I can enjoy both quite easily so I don’t feel I’m losing out. The games’ value is great too at $59.95 upon release, I’m actually quite pleased it’s not more, it’s around the average price for this kind of game, but in a world where a lot of games are $80+ for base editions and $100+ for special editions it’s a welcome bracket to fit into.- Impulsegamer

Conclusively the game is fun and addictive when running smoothly, I can find myself wasting many hours on relatively even level combat knowing that everyone starting out, starts as barren and defenseless as I. A stable frame rate would to wonders to improve the quality of gameplay as many gamers I know share my opinion of smooth gameplay is better than high end graphics, at the moment though, PUBG on Xbox One isn’t providing either.
