Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake reintroduces a great little cult game of the recent past with an appreciable graphic makeover, and basically that is enough to make it a recommended game even today.

Dune: Awakening shows immense promise, with a solid foundation that’s set to grow over time through strong developer support and early enthusiasm from the community. It’s easily the most faithful and immersive adaptation of Frank Herbert’s universe to date, crafted with a meticulous attention to detail that fans of the saga will instantly recognize. Despite its depth, the game remains approachable for newcomers, offering smart onboarding tools like the in-game codec to help players get acquainted with the world and its systems. The gameplay blends complexity with accessibility, supported by a clear and intuitive interface. While there are still some questions around multiplayer balance, this is shaping up to be one of the year’s most ambitious and rewarding survival MMOs.

What begins as a holiday – although going through dungeons to defeat monsters isn't exactly my idea of a relaxing vacation – turns into a fantastic adventure: Dungeons of Hinterberg accompanies its protagonist and the player through this transformation, which ends up being his biggest flaw. Until it leaves behind every vestige of normality to fill its dungeons with the most colorful puzzles, the game holds back so much that it gives the player a misleading first impression. But if you allow it to lead us by the hand for the first few more subdued hours, we finally arrive in a truly fantastic and imaginative place where very different ideas find space.

Monster Hunter Rise adds interesting elements to the basic formula of the series, also managing to present its contents to new players in a gradual manner. Yet it can't help but seem, in a sense, an unfinished game.

Ryu Hayabusa returns with a good remaster operation, maintaining the intense and brutal combat system of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. The difficulty is more accessible and the new graphics made in Unreale Engine 5 are great, but there are still historical issues like the camera and some content missing compared to Sigma 2.

Iconoclasts is yet another proof of how independent software is taking up an increasingly important part of the gaming market. Made with an almost palpable devotion, Sandberg's game manages to stand out for its unexpectedly mature narrative and superb level design. A few too cryptic puzzles and the massive amount of text could frighten users looking for a "pure" metroidvania. This doesn't affect the personality of Iconoclasts, which reveals itself to be a truly, great game.
