There's some fun in multiplayer, but Pokémon Rumble U is a pretty limited game, with not much depth and a lot of button mashing. Even worse: we still don't have the NFC toys in Italy.

A decent on rail shooter that just loves to be plain stupid and politically incorrect. Simple, straightforward fun, enjoyable if you're in the mood for mutant chickens, meta-referential jokes and "low-budget John Woo moments".

Light has got a nice artistic direction, but that's it. Gameplay is erratic and badly conceived.

A Spidey game that falls short of any Batman: Arkham, again. Its open world is empty of interesting interactions and full of repetitive fights with uninspired bands of villains. Its free roaming makes you free as a bird when gliding in the air but clumsy as a silly spider when fighting on the ground. Just another shattered hope since Shattered Dimensions.

PixelJunk Raiders is not completely to be thrown away because it has some interesting ideas, but this is not enough to make it stand out compared to other roguelikes: it is the classic wasted opportunity because it never manages to fully convince.

Blood Alloy: Reborn feels like a missed opportunity: the game tries to melt Vanquish's speed with Luftrausers' high score madness, but it lacks of polish, content and gets boring quickly. Kudos to its soundtrack, very addictive.

Short in length and inadequate in terms of graphics, LocoCycle is a brief ride only partially saved by a bit of humor and a certain variety.

Simplistic game and level design make Ironfall Invasion a boring and dull third person shooter. A wasted opportunity.

We didn't actually need Syberia 3: a senseless tryout for bringing a perfectly closed series back in the spotlight. Syberia 3, with its mediocre (disappointing) narration and its poor technical design, should have remained Microïds' secret wish.

Special Forces: Team X lacks in style, but the precision of its core mechanics is undeniable. It's an interesting third person shooter, able to bring some fun even if it doesn't represent a step forward for the genre. A good effort that shows some flaws and bugs that need to be fixed as soon as possible.

A thin game that became repetitive pretty soon. Besides its good art direction and the price, Cocoro Line Defender is not really appealing, even for the hardcore fans of the genre.

While the premises were good enough, Extinction fails to take a few steps further. Every giant slayed in the game feels exactly the same as the one you met before - and there is not much else to do in the game.

Terminator: Resistance is an old-school, low budget shooter that does not shine in any of its game mechanics, and offers a weak and uninspired experience, even for long-time Terminator fans.

An expansion pack with a very convenient new name, with some new content that does not justify the price tag. The game is the same the fans already played and it didn't age that well.

Shattered Crystal isn't your typical Sonic game... Instead, it's a competent maze-based platform game that you'll probably enjoy.

SingStar Ultimate Party is a party that's only half successful: you can still have fun (even lots of, in certain conditions), yet with different choices the outcome could have been far more memorable.

Natsume tried everything to give an identity to the latest Harvest Moon. The result, though, is too slow and boring.

Unfortunately the debut of Gravity Falls in the gaming universe is really incomparable to the glorious animated series: despite the solid look, this platform ranges from bad to insignificant, and truly feels like a gigantic wasted opportunity.

If only Aliens: Colonial Marines had decent visuals, the score would also have been able to pass mark. Instead, due to the mediocre technical sector, the too-short single-player Campaign, questionable A.I. and the uninspired and bland narrative, the long=awaited return of Xenomorphs became, in the hands of Gearbox Software, something very close to a complete failure.

Rodea the Sky Soldier on Wii U is a good idea, but a broken game with a frustrating control scheme. Visually it's a game of almost a decade ago. Forget it.

Devil's Third triumphantly fails both as an action game and as a shooter: Itagaki's fall from grace is thunderous and bewildering, and the drama is almost surreal. It's hard to tell what happened to the genius behind Ninja Gaiden, but the result here is frankly depressing.

Repetitive, short-lived, without a real plot and full of senseless massacres. Hatred is not a great game, but in its simple twin-stick shooter mechanics, it’s not too bad and it provides some cute ideas.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is a dull, ugly looking and boring third-person shooter, with a confused plot and without a single passage worthy of being remembered. The online co-op slightly uplifts the situation, but other than that there is really very little to save.
