Drag x Drive's control scheme and gameplay concept are solid and they work really well. Nevertheless, we have our doubts about the game's appeal in the long run: we want more environments, tournaments and local multiplayer.

Getting ahead of the most promising titles of cyberpunk pixel art, Neon Blood surprises with an outstanding visual section and its dazzling atmosphere, in a game where the only “buts” are a limited gameplay and duration.

Pawarumi takes the idea behind the classic Ikaruga and tries to exploit it even further... but without the refinement of the Treasure gem. It has great ideas, good graphic design, personality... but often you won't know what you are doing because it's a little bit confusing. Even worst it's that it lack content (only 5 levels).

If you're looking for a classic "metroidvania" with ninja abilities, that's just what Kunai offers: explore levels, kill enemies, push switches, get new abilities, kill bosses, get to new areas... and start all over again. All with a great Game Boy visual style, but in the end, it feels like a pretty conventional game.

We are surprised on how a solid game mechanic has evolved into a really enjoyable 3D experience. Even with some control and camera flaws, this is a solid and friendly adventure, specially for multiplayer.

Toren is a nice addition to PS4 indies' library. At first sight, it seems like a classical adventure (platforming, puzzle, exploring, a little bit combat...) but underneath all that it explores vital concepts like death and life, and apply them directly to gameplay. I wish it lasted a little bit more because it's a really short game.

This new Game Of Thrones episode has a slow narrative that invites us to explore more of Forrester family, and prepares us for the action to come in the following chapters.

Sackboy is a fun adventure for everyone, easy to play and difficult to master, and it also works as a demonstration of some Dualsense capabilities, but we miss the creative side of Little Big Planet and more unique mechanics (such as the musical levels).

Get ready to re-visit an arcade classic by SNK on Nintendo Switch. One of the craziest, most challenging "run & gun" shooters you will play in your life.

Frictional once again shows that it dominates the horror adventure genre by heart and gives us a somewhat more generic installment than Rebirth, but equally capable of offering us a remarkable survival experience.

If you love retro arcade action games, and more precisely, Ghost'n Goblins wannabes, you'll love Battle Princess Madelyn. Maybe the adventure mode it's a bit harsh, not for everybody's tastes and with a high difficulty level... but if the Capcom classic it's among your all time favorite games, here you'll find a worthy heir for Capcom's legacy.

It may not be the Metroid game many expected, but it's a satisfying experience to play in company, and it makes us see the Metroid universe from a new and interesting point of view.

A more than correct golf game. It preserves the franchise's effective and comfortable gameplay. The new additions may like or dislike you depending of the type of player that you are. The focus is on social gaming now, that's for sure.

If you're going to play it on Nintendo Switch, make sure it's in portable mode and without Bluetooth headphones: this way you'll enjoy two unique gems of rhythm and action as their creators conceived it. A pity that the input lag calibration on TV is so archaic, so trial and error, because it can easily make you despair...

It's hard to stand out among open world adventures. Outcast 2 achieves this at times thanks to its ease and sense of freedom, but neither the missions themselves nor their visual performance manage to rise to the occasion.

Although it looks like a FPS, Superhot is a puzzle game. The VR experience is great, but the game is too short and sometimes it can be frustrating. Art direction is simple, but works great.

Once again, Grezzo shows that making remakes is his thing. It may not have been as successful as in other cases, but the adaptation of the GameCube classic to 3DS is quite remarkable. Despite the failures of the control system, it's still just as fun and entertaining, even a little more than the original thanks to the additions.

Nixxes breaks its streak of good ports with a Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that has been released unoptimized, and with important bugs still present after several patches and hotfixes (version 1.212.1.0). It still needs more work to be 100% polished: it's a shame to release great games like this.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is the very same game from 2014 (even from the graphical side), with few improvements, like rumble HD. A fast port that Shantae's hardcore fans and newcomers will enjoy, but for all those that already played it on 3DS, Wii U, PC or Xbox One, there are better options out there, like Half-Genie Hero (also on Switch).

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage serves as the finale for a game with an amazing track record. The new single-player content, crossplay, and rollback netcode are great additions that allow players to continue enjoying its excellent gameplay. However, as a definitive edition, it could have been improved upon by removing payment barriers.

Detective Pikachu is a remarkable spin-off, which can be enjoyed thanks to the winks it makes to the Pokémon franchise, his humor and, above all, his protagonist: a peculiar and mocking Pikachu. It may not be especially difficult and repetitive, but it's a game worth playing.

Remnant: From the Ashes is an entertaining and challenging game, that also give us some options to try its gameplay and challenge its enemies. However, you should not forget that it's mainly a coop game, and playing alone can be tough or even frustrating for the most part of the journey.
