This turn-based game is worth every penny: the developers have created a superb and minimalistic strategy game, which has an excellent system of achievements making you crave for more and more and more... Remember - defeat is only a beginning and the satisfaction is great.

Rust is a true survival game phenomenon. There's no other game like this with equally fierce and aggressive community. The gameplay is a unique experience that makes you feel and think primal, therefore it's not a title for everyone. The thrill may be addictive, but it's not a game that can be played for several hours a day.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is a game stuck midway between the past and the present. The remastering process took a lot of work and turned out pretty good but I can't understand why the gameplay was left intact without any modern polish. At first, the nostalgia was strong but fighting with the archaic solutions over and over again for a few hours was too much for me and I got bored.

Civilization VI has gained a rich expansion with numerous, very sensible changes. Gameplay mechanics are more complex; there are new civilizations, a loyalty system, dark and golden ages - there is no point in going back to the core game. If only this add-on cost a bit less.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance guarantees excellent fun. It truly is a unique RPG that has all the qualities needed to become a cult classic among the fans of more hardcore games. The world, the story and the urge to explore are superb. Unfortunately, some technical issues and a controversial saving system can taint the overall impression.

Fe is an enchanting game featuring dazzling artistic quality of the graphics, which is arguably its main thrust. The gameplay is not as impressive, but it is efficient and diverse enough to keep you entertained for a few hours.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a mandatory purchase for every fan of anime. The story-based campaign keeps you entertained for many hours, and fighting with friends - thanks to a user-friendly combat system, beautiful graphics and high dynamics - will definitely appeal to both rookie and advanced players.

Shadow of the Colossus AD 2018 is a model remake. All the things that made the original so very special have been masterfully rebuilt and are as appealing as ever. In addition, some archaic elements have been replaced by solutions that are more in line with today's standards.

Hardcore fans of the series will probably not be discouraged by all the flaws (bugs and glitches, weak and not very exciting storyline) and they'll buy this DLC regardless. But it's necessary to point out all these shortcomings simply because Ubisoft can do so much better. The DLCs to Assassin's Creed games were never superb, but Origins really is a good game that deserves solid expansions - and The Hidden Ones is unfortunately not one of them.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition finally looks and feels like a game it should have been a long time ago. It has depth, lots of content and a superb fighting system. It is a right choice for rookies and veterans alike, and at the same time it's the best beat'em up of current generation.

Before the Storm is a good pit-stop between the first and second part of Life is Strange. The game itself is pleasant but not memorable. Chloe and Rachel's relationship is portrayed very convincingly but there is too few new things and the whole thing relies too much on the first game.

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is a superb example of adapting the battle royale gameplay model. This is a true phenomenon and an event of the year but it's far too soon to call it "game of the year". PUBG is more of a late early access - tons of things got better over time but that's only the beginning.

SpellForce 3 is a really good game that expands on the brand's gameplay mechanics, mixes RTS and RPG in a smooth way and enchants with some absolutely superb graphics. There is space for improvement but fans of more old-school games should be more than happy.

Hello Neighbor is a stealth game for youtubers. It's really annoying and obviously unfinished and as such makes a great theme for a funny video. During gameplay I had three distinct feelings: boredom, discomfort and frustration. And sometimes anger when some flaws looked intentional. Avoid!

If you're sick of open worlds, exploration, side-quests and collection XP, Call of Duty: WWII's campaign will entertain you with a style. And then there's a cool zombie mode that is much better than a mediocre multiplayer mode. WWII should remind you the golden times of firs CoD's - in a very good way.

Seven: The Days Long Gone is a truly unique RPG. It's a comic book-stylized stealth isometric adventure in a techno-magical world. Seven can generate tons of fun but only until you encounter one of the many strange bugs and issues. You should wait for some serious patching and buy the game once it's done - it has a potential that deserves to be fully realized.

New version of L.A. Noire does not disappoint but at the same time it does nothing to make me love this really good game some more. This remaster is just fine - nothing more, nothing less. It offers fancy things like HDR and 4K but there's nothing really new, so if you already own L.A. Noire, skip this version.

New Battlefront has an extremely mediocre single player campaign, which is as far from a viable reason to buy this game as it can be. The multiplayer mode provides lots of fun but at the same time it suffers from lootboxes which disrupt the balance on the battlefield. Star Wars: Battlefront II is a good game dragged down by bad business practices of the publisher.

South Park: Phone Destroyer makes a good impression but suffers from some gameplay decisions. The game is funny and offers lots of stuff for free but the online mode shouldn't be connected in any way to the single player campaign. Mobile PS has lots of potential that is thwarted by too much randomness and a flawed PvP.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds does not start a revolution and has a pretty weak storyline but it offers enough new and diverse content that all fans of mechanical dinosaurs wanting to return to this world after defeating Hades should play it without hesitation.

MachineGames does it again - The New Order was terrific, and The New Colossus is pretty much the same level. The new Wolfenstein appeared in 2014 out of nowhere and became one of the best shooters ever. The sequel is very similar even though the "wow factor" isn't as evident. It is a joy to play such a big and well-made game that focuses only on single player. Bravo!

Nintendo has once again redefined the platformer genre. Well known solutions have been perfected and the entire game is well designed and has a soul. Super Mario Odyssey is a game aware of its heritage and at the same time it proves that a good idea never gets old. A true masterpiece.

Despite some hard-to-miss flaws, Assassin's Creed: Origins makes one hell of an impression. The game is such a big leap from AC Syndicate, the same way ACII was an improvement when compared to the first game. Fans of the Assassin universe simply need to play this game. Ubisoft proves that they still have something interesting to say in their biggest franchise.

Elex is not an accessible game and doesn't make a great first impression but it deserves more than one chance. Fans of Piranha Games should prepare themselves for more of what they love (but they must accept a strange fantasy & sci-fi mix). The final grade could have been higher if it weren't for too many technical issues.

Battle Chasers is a game full of attractions that will last for more than 40 hours of fun. It's not important whether you noticed Joe Madureira's new game because of its jRPG heritage, its connection to a series of comic books or its extremely pretty graphics. All these reasons are good, because the game is good. Very good.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is a sequel perfect for the fans of the original game and fans of repetitive gameplay. They'll love this game but they won't be surprised at all. The combat system is really cool, the story is okay (albeit too long) but all in all Monolith took a step back as if afraid to do something new.

There is no revolution in the gameplay but modern FIFA never needed one. This year's edition has a slower game pace, improved player positioning and more focus on individual player stats. Thanks to all that FIFA 18 is more tactical but as entertaining as ever.

Divinity: Original Sin II is like a fine wine. It demands patience, a proper attitude and some taste. If you're willing to spend time and really sink into the story you'll have one of the best RPG experiences in recent years. Original Sin II offers true role playing - ways to develop your character and his/her story are numerous. Great RPG.

Total War: Warhammer II is a really well made sequel. It improves lots of tiny gameplay elements and, as a result, there is more fun to be had and you can really feel the strategic & tactical elements. Great map, cool world and quite a complex storyline make you forget about some inevitable simplifications.

The new edition of PES does not offer a revolution. But you need to remember that Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 doesn't need one - it's a great sporting game that just got a little better. Ball control improvement and additions in Master League are welcome, but the small number of licenses is not (as usual). But all in all it's still a very good game.
