OPUS: Rocket of Whispers while not as great as the previous game, is still well worth your time if you enjoy games with heartwarming stories. You will need to tolerate some padding to get ahead in the story sadly.

Having played a good amount of both games, even with the frame rate being half, I’d recommend the Switch version over the PS4 version for Gal*Gun 2.

Gal*Gun 2 is a fun time if you haven't played the previous entry but quite a drag if you have with some weird design decisions throughout.

If you’ve been crying out for a good console strategy RPG you should give Regalia a go, it’s not perfect, but it’s an exceptionally well told yarn.

The premise of Extinction is brilliant in theory, but its execution is boring and hindered at all times by a camera that refuses to point where you want it to, and a control system that often doesn’t even respond to simple commands.

There was potential here, but Masters of Anima is ultimately a bit of a letdown.

Super Daryl Deluxe isn’t that bad a game. You’ll face the classic trope of the RPG difficulty spike in each new area and maybe a menu bug along the way but for the RPG fans among you it has plenty for you to do and see that you’ll spending a fair amount with Daryl and a host of familiar faces.

If you love the Apes movies, this is a lovely little VR tie-in, and if you're looking for your next VR kick, I'd definitely give this a go.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 improves on the original in many ways but still suffers from poor design decision.

Running and jumping from left to right is difficult to judge, but while wearing the colours of another The Adventure Pals delivers on its central concept in a way it’s inspiration never could.

DJMax Respect is getting very close to being my favourite rhythm game on PS4 with its eclectic song selection and fantastic design.

Pikachu’s detective career never manages to capitalise on an ok start, and ultimately nothing is discovered when you scratch beneath the surface.

Atelier Lydie & Suelle is a lovely relaxing turn based RPG that suffers from some aspects that make it feel rushed but still a welcome improvement from Firis that nearly killed the franchise for me.

The Switch port is very inconsistent. In both handheld and docked modes, the frame rate is inconsistent. I shouldn’t be surprised considering it is 30fps on the PS4 Pro but it is so erratic that moving the camera in some situations might give you motion sickness.

The Switch version has excellent HD Rumble support. I think WayForward is one of the few developers to nail this in each release. Shantae looks and runs brilliantly on the Switch across both modes as well. It is a near perfect port as far as I’m concerned and the only thing I would’ve wanted more than the current release is a co-op mode with single Joy-Con support.

A game brimming with potential. Incredible attention to detail and the potential to create your own stories is tempered somewhat by a lack of guided content to keep players motivated.

Same Stitch concludes Telltale's second season brilliantly, and Joker is shown once again to be Batman's greatest foe, written beautifully by the guys at Telltale.

A Way Out is a story worth sharing with a friend. There's plenty to do, with moments of intensity and emotion, and the ending is one of the best conclusions in video games.

This one does it all and every game should take advantage of the Touch Screen on the Switch for portable play as an option. Overall this is a great port and one that any fan of good stories in games should play.

This is a nice showcase for how a mobile game should be ported to the Switch. It includes all the content and supports all input methods. If you enjoy horror jump scare like movies and puzzle games, this is a no brainer purchase. It is accessible and has tweaks to make it better for different kinds of gamers.

AoT2’s Switch port is an admirable effort, but there are just too many concessions made to get it working. The developers had the chance to go the extra mile to use HD Rumble while flying with the ODM but the implementation is lacklustre.
