Dragon Star Varnir is a step up from a lot of Compile Heart's games, but the Switch version is a technical mess.- God is a Geek

The Golf Club promises a lot but falls down on its implementation. Golf fans will find a lot to like here, though, with the Designer and the solid gameplay providing an expansive experience. Unfortunately, last-gen visuals and a series of frustrating issues make this a hard game to recommend to all but the golf obsessed.- God is a Geek

Touhou Genso Wanderer was a really good roguelike on the PS4 already and the added content and portability aspect of the Switch makes this the definitive version of Touhou Genso Wanderer by far. If you’ve been craving your Mystery Dungeon and Shiren fix on Switch, this is the game to get.- God is a Geek

Kinetic Edge feels like its fighting with itself just a little too much. While having more modes makes the initial menu screen a bit more vibrant - like Kinetic Edge’s visuals - that vibrance becomes tedious and a little wasted.- God is a Geek

The daunting difficulty is always going to be a problem to a newcomer taking their first steps into such a popular, community-driven landscape, but Magic 2015 offers an in-depth tutorial that doesn’t skimp on the information. Sadly, though, the main game will disappoint established fans.- God is a Geek

Little Town Hero is a slice of something different. It rewards tactical, considered play in a lovely charming village setting. If you can overlook the randomness of battles, there's a lot to like here.- God is a Geek

Aside from the short length, there isn’t much that Chronology does wrong. The platforming is competent and it controls pretty solidly; the puzzling is well thought-out and intuitive, and the gameplay interesting and varied. But none of the elements truly excel either, leaving you with the feeling that, whilst enjoyable, this is a game that could have been great were a few more risks taken.- God is a Geek

In its current state, the Switch version has no touch screen support. This is very disappointing given the platform and its various input options are perfectly suited to games in this genre. Thimbleweed Park is the best example of how to handle bringing the genre to Switch. The Switch version of Deponia also has some inconsistency with A and B for selecting. Usually, games that see late ports to Switch and cost more have a few added extras. Over here, you aren’t getting anything extra barring the asking price.- God is a Geek
