The AoF Anthology had its fans and the same holds true for the FFBA. Anyone who is looking to play one of the more recognizable 2D fighting franchises could do a lot worse than this.

One of the main problems with Kinetic is that players need an awful lot of room to play this game. So unless a particular PS2 is not located in the vicinity of a small room or a crowded living room, players may have some difficulty with performing exercises without breaking some indoor furniture.

Simply put, X3: Terran Conflict is one of the most in-depth space-sims released yet, and if you’ve got a hankering for the genre, you can’t get much better than this.

All in all, Smackdown vs RAW 2009 looks great, has more than enough game modes to keep the average wrestling gamer busy, and does in some instances make excellent use of the DS’s technology.

While Fantasy Wars may not set any new records or break the gameplay barrier, it is a solid turn-based war game with an addictive twist.

Overall it’s just a fun card game with a range of people, and playing with friends is basically just like the MSN for gamers, hanging out around a card game and carrying a conversation.

It’s fun and humorous, if not a little short, and except for a few snags here and there when it comes to looking for items or trying to think up the next too-convoluted solution, it’s a fun game to play through to the end.

Then again, perhaps the short play-time is a blessing in disguise: it helps spare you from a really long adventure where you have to suffer with that camera.

With a sequel already released on the portable console with a bevy of new features, it's a shame that Lumines Plus couldn't have lived up to its name and actually included something new beyond an additional skin or two.

That said, the game is fun. And refreshingly new. When every game that comes out in this genre is just the same thing over and over again, Din's Curse brings a lot of new features to the table.

As a full-price game, Young Thor isn't that great. But as a Playstation Mini, it's pretty impressive. The amount of content that was managed to put into this game, whether it's the variety of enemies, the level sizes, the treasures to collect, even the in-game achievements you can earn, is impressive.

If you've got a few like minded friends to play with you, this is some of the best fun you can have with your Wii yet. Single players will be left scratching their heads wondering what the hubbub is really all about.

So like I said, De Blob 2 for the Nintendo DS doesn't really do anything new. It's got some simple combat, decent platforming, good music and sharp visuals, but it's not going to break any records. But when you want a good, solid platforming experience that runs heavy on the casual side of things, then De Blob 2 isn't a bad choice.

Still, taken alone, this game is a solid addition to any PSP owner’s library.

MotoGP 07 continues to be what it should: a solid, if simple cycle racer that delivers good value for two-wheel enthusiasts.

Overall Dark Sector is a good investment if you’re just looking for some good mostly mindless fun.
