The combination of a deep character building role playing game with fast arcade action can make it hard to put down the controller.- Gaming Target

Even though the console source wasn’t overly impressive and the PSP suffers from a number of new control issues, it’s still a good start.- Gaming Target

The problem with Need For Speed ProStreet is that while it's long-lasting and can be pretty enjoyable despite the AI problems, it's also a bit by-the-numbers at times and no longer really stands out like the NFS games used to.- Gaming Target

But for a game that was released months after its NBA brethren, it noticeably falls flat in a couple key areas.- Gaming Target

Although the game suffers from it’s story, unbalanced characters, and an uninspired creature design, the game can still be considered the best JRPG on the 360 thanks in large part to exciting battles and its strong visual appeal.- Gaming Target

Despite some problems with the iffy lock on system, lack lustre presentation and the average story, Blinx 2 is still an overall fun title.- Gaming Target

Leisure Suit Larry takes off its clothes and shows us an imaginative world full of sexually starved monkeys that can talk, chicks with dicks, and several other zany enticements that will have you so horny, you'll be licking the dust off your television screen.- Gaming Target

House of the Dead: Overkill is a great attempt to bring light gun games back from the video game graveyard, offering a unique style, entertaining scenarios, and a bit more depth than you would normally find in this type of shooter.- Gaming Target

Offline it’s a hollow shell of an action/adventure game, but online it’s a fun, addictive, and worthwhile entry – a game that’s based on teamwork rather than endless deathmatches.- Gaming Target

While Total Overdose won't be revered as a classic for years to come, it is a surprisingly solid game. You'll be sucked in by the game's very fun action sequences and the chance to blow up everything with a well placed flying car is just gosh darn fun.- Gaming Target

Many of the gameplay quirks are just twists on tried-and-true conventions, but the single-player experience provides some decent gunplay, and there is some multiplayer action to keep the guns blazing a little bit longer.- Gaming Target

The streamlined gameplay of Mafia II makes for a story that's simple to follow and easy to get sucked into for 12 hours. I just wish I could say the same about the environment. The open world is full of life and detail, but there's no encouragement to stray from the game's 15 chapters.- Gaming Target

While it doesn't quite measure up to Contra III or Contra 4, Contra ReBirth scratches that side-scrolling itch a lot of us old-timers have.- Gaming Target

New scare techniques aside, the graphics, gameplay, and multiplayer have all been accomplished by other developers. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a shinning example of how to top a well regarded original title.- Gaming Target

Designed with both replayability and pick up & play in mind, WRC is both lengthy and challenging, but simple enough to play for 10 minutes a day on the train to work, between classes at college, or any other scenario where time is needing some killing.- Gaming Target

But after completing the game in a three-day span, the challenging and short-lived ten missions felt average. Or in another case inefficient, with the only extras being that of a short clip of concept art and one unlocked movie that had just been seen.- Gaming Target

Ultimately, Dead Island is fun and deserves to be played, but I recommend waiting a bit until the game is patched into a more stable state. Visual gaffs are one thing, but problems with auto-save that have the publisher recommending you avoid multiplayer, the game's best feature, are a complete red flag.- Gaming Target
