A World of Keflings is a great improvement over the original game.

The PS3 is going through the usual post-launch woes, but if you're a baseball fan, MLB 07 The Show is just the game to get you through the lean months until the usual fall insanity.

Brain Age isn’t really a game and it’s gimmick will eventually wear thin. But it’s also an excellent piece of software for those that like a good puzzle game.

High Moon Studios managed to create a living & breathing world – I know, kind of ironic for a game about robots, isn't it – that did justice to the source material.

A huge demo machine that manages to show gamers what the controller is capable of while providing an entertaining single-player and multiplayer mode.

A technically solid first person shooter that creates a great atmosphere using above-par visuals and a wide array of battlefield sounds. Combined together, these two aesthetic aspects of Big Red One create a very intense atmosphere.

The fact that you don't get a single point until you've blown yourself up gives Plain Sight some pretty stressful gameplay. It's a compelling balancing act; you literally become a bigger target with every kill.

The Xbox Live support is certainly the main draw, and that also makes it somewhat disappointing that there are some issues with its implementation.

MLB 2K10 is an improvement in many ways perhaps, most importantly, it won't be an embarrassing butt of jokes on the Internet.

Sure, there’s no multiplayer support and that’s a bummer, but the extremely challenging gameplay (especially in the case of Gradius III) should keep you busy all by yourself until the distant day in which Gradius VI comes out for PS3.

If you are looking for a family-friendly action-platform game, Lego Batman is sure to please. There is a lot of good content here that will please both the casual Batman fan and the old-school Batman fanboy.

While it doesn't quite measure up to Contra III or Contra 4, Contra ReBirth scratches that side-scrolling itch a lot of us old-timers have.

It’s not as classic as "Takedown" or "Revenge," so it’s a step backwards, but still it’s an enjoyable racer that has it’s problems, but it can be as addictive as the series has been in the past.

I found that the game’s humor and entertaining quest made it well worth the $10 investment ($8.95 for the PC). Like many adventure games, the replay value is not tremendously high, but the promise of future downloadable episodes helps to resolve this issue.

Thanks to the always-entertaining battle system, Shadow Hearts: From the New World manages to be a good, enjoyable game, but one that definitely has lost potential. The plot is intriguing at its core but it doesn't develop very well – there's no urgency compared to Covenant.

In a nutshell, it’s a satisfactory entry into the Phoenix Wright series without much deviation from the original. And so I bring down the gavel.

    MAG
As it stands MAG is a technical feat because it boasts 256 console players in an online-only environment, but doesn’t offer anything else that’s truly exceptional for the FPS genre beyond that.

Your enjoyment of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions will depend on how much you agree with Bobby Kotick's assessment of the previous entries in the series. If you truly believe they sucked, skip Shattered Dimensions as it's more of the same (just without the open world New York). But if you enjoyed them, you'll want to give the game a shot as it's another entertaining Spider-Adventure that's more linear than recent games in the series, but still a lot of fun.

There are a few shortcomings: although the maps are gorgeous, many of them look and feel a bit too similar. The gameplay can also get repetitive with only two game types.

But what I don't get is why oh why must the enemies constantly rise up to pummel your weaker party when obviously there's few options to defend such cheating onslaughts. Or, why is The Bard's choice brand of humor not making me giggle like mad?

A game that is meant for multi-player action. The single-player mode and mini-games will keep you entertained for a little while, but sooner or later you will get extremely bored because it becomes too repetitive or the AI becomes too easy for you.

Suikoden V marks a complete return to the roots that made Suikoden such a great series during its tenure on the PSOne. Both Suikoden and RPGfans will find themselves absolutely enthralled with the story, despite the number of issues presented in the game. If your looking for a traditional RPG experience with just the right amount of tools: look no further than Suikoden V.
