While survival-horror definitely isn't my best genre, Resident Evil: Revelations is easily one of the best 3DS games I've played to date. Just about any frustrations I've come across is due to my own lack of skill and experience with the franchise as a whole. If you're a Resident Evil fan with a 3DS, this is definitely one to pick up.- Gaming Nexus

Casper Croes and his crew understood the assignment. Alisa is pure Playstation One-style 90s survival horror in the best way possible. There is so much love and passion put into this game, and a true understanding of tone and aesthetics and gameplay that made those games so much fun. If you grew up with these games like I did, I cannot recommend Alisa enough.- Gaming Nexus

A stunning achievement both technically and narratively, Spider-Man 2 makes every moment of gameplay feel epic while still delivering a great story with a ton of heart. The creators at Insomniac know and love these characters, and that care manifests both in the quieter moments and in the jaw-dropping cinematic action scenes. Thrilling, gut-wrenching, and visually spectacular, this is among the best representations of Spider-Man in any media. An absolute no-brainer for every PlayStation 5 owner, Spider-Man 2 shows what your system is truly capable of.- Gaming Nexus

Action roguelikes is a genre seeing a bit of a surge of new entires lately, and Hades is as good or better as anything you will find in that field. It offers an overall experience in storytelling and gameplay that is top-notch regardless of genre. It's this incredibly unique type of game and play loop that turns your every failure and death into a reward of unlocking more story, injecting more humor, and inviting you to take a stab at one more run. It's won numerous game of the year awards on PC, and there is no reason for those accolades to stop with the port to consoles. Just don't forget to give Cerebus a pet on your way to the next run.- Gaming Nexus

Prototype 2's James Heller out superheroes every other superhero that's ever appeared in a videogame. The Into the Darkness expansion for Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 is a must own for anyone who plays the base game. The additional decks, cards, and modes are all welcome additions to the game and only add to an already addictive base-game. The ability to play as the Archenemy in particular is something that is worth the price of admission alone although it makes you wonder why it wasn't the ability wasn't included in the base game back in June.- Gaming Nexus

Dear Esther is an auditory and visual experience that interweaves a consuming narrative and array of emotions. The game's actual value must not be solely based upon its gameplay length, but rather on the random elements and new secrets discovered through multiple playthroughs. Those that brave the journey into the narrative and world of Dear Esther will discover an experience that few games have been available to accomplish in years. Highly recommended.- Gaming Nexus

In the end, this is a game that's hard not to recommend, especially in light of the fact that 2K Sports didn't offer a competitor on the 360 or PS3 this year, so EA could have just stuck with last years game. Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate moves MyDearest’s living-anime games forward several steps by adding a greater degree of interactivity to the already excellent storytelling. Though the slow burn may put some players off, those with patience will find an intriguing mystery in a fabulously built sci-fi world. Well worth a look for anime fans; Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate hints at some great things to come, both from this series and this developer. [Early Access Provisional Score = 85]- Gaming Nexus

Ark of Charon presents as a visually appealing and intriguing title that unfortunately falls short in execution. Its blend of tower defense and colony simulation has potential, yet the game's finer details—such as the cumbersome controls, underdeveloped mechanics, and lack of engaging storytelling take away from the overall enjoyment. While Ark of Charon shines in its peaceful rhythm of base-building, this strength is not enough to keep me attempting to rebuild the life tree. As it stands, Ark of Charon feels like a game best suited for occasional play rather than a long-term commitment. But, it is in Early Access, so I have no problem giving this a second look down the road. [Early Access Provisional Score = 65]- Gaming Nexus

While pretty light on content, the price of this Early Access fighter is just right. With a surprising amount of depth for such a limited stable of characters, Final Fury will have you laughing and talking smack to your buddies with the best of them. The timing takes practice, and there is a learning curve to understand the characters' interactions, which makes the core gameplay of Final Fury quite solid. Additional content drops for the game will only make it better. [Early Access Provisional Score = 75]- Gaming Nexus

Temtem is as good as it gets when it comes to competition versus Pokémon. Even in Early Access, it surpasses the most recent Pokémon games and it’s exciting to think about how the best is yet to come with Temtem. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]- Gaming Nexus
