    The concept of controlling a wave of light is executed flawlessly through beautifully rendered levels and a challenging, but addictive gameplay experience. Gamers looking for a truly unique and innovative experience shouldn't hesitate to add Waveform to their list of must-play games this year.

    Are you in the mood for a unique puzzle game filled with ambient electronic music and want to feel good about supporting independent game development? Waveform may just be right up your alley. It is elegant in its simplicity, but don't let that fool you. The game quickly becomes challenging and with about eleven stages (filled with ten levels each), there's a surprisingly large amount of game and replayability to be had. I see myself coming back to this game often.

    Waveform is created out of a unique concept and is mostly made for casual gamers. The gameplay can be difficult though, making it interesting for the hardcore as well. This game will frustrate you at times though. It's also a shame that the music gets boring after a while.

    As it stands, Waveform has an excitement curve as bendy as its core gameplay conceit. A wholly unique experience with brilliant mechanics at the centre, its only misstep is its overreach preventing it from shining as bright as it could have.

I have been enjoying this game a lot and surprisingly it has dragged my wife away from her gaming consoles to compete with me for high scores. The soundtrack is excellent and there is a lot of variety in the game mechanics over the course of the game .Easy to play , hard to master its a great addition to anyone's Steam library .I'm giving it a ten based on value for money. The catch is, the particle will only travel along a sine wave - of which the player can manipulate the amplitude and frequency, providing the primary way to control the particle's position. While the levels are rarely difficult to complete on the most basic level, completionists and those looking for a challenge will enjoy attempting 100% completions of the levels.

    With a well developed, intelligent mechanic, challenging gameplay for those who seek it, and a relaxing atmosphere, Waveform is an excellent game well worth checking out.    … Expand

Ride the wave while avoiding objects and collecting light particles is what it's all about. There are at least eight stages around a planet, plus the ability to post your high scores on the leaderboard. Each stage of the game gets progressively harder as you strive to unlock achievements and complete each 'wave' perfectly. The developers check the Steam forums on a regular basis and listen intently to everyone's suggestions and are constantly improving gameplay. There is even downloadable content available. It's reasonably priced and a great game to own.… Expand

    Is this the best game ever? No. Is this the best music/puzzle game ever? No. Is this the best indie game ever? No. Is this a damn good gameIs this the best game ever? No. Is this the best music/puzzle game ever? No. Is this the best indie game ever? No. Is this a damn good game with challenging yet addictive gameplay? Yes. Sometimes it kind of irritates me and changes its rules slightly, but all considered, it's a good game I would like to see a sequel to.
