There’s a few misses here, but overall I think EA’s done a suitable job with the franchise, and this entry shows continued improvement.- Gaming Age

Like I said, if you haven't already fallen for the series, you're probably not going to have your mind changed here. Conversely, if you've loved the previous entries in the series, you're probably going to be over the moon for Megadimension Neptunia VII, since this is the series blown up to its most massive size yet.- Gaming Age

Seriously, I don't think I can praise Hitman GO: Definitive Edition enough. It's perfectly suited to the Vita, and as I said, it makes me wish we had more cool little spinoffs like this one.- Gaming Age

They took the time to assess what worked before and how to make an already successful game relevant again, nine years later. My only real gripe is this was developed for Windows 10 and lacks Steam Support.- Gaming Age

That they've come out with something that plays to their strengths so well is an impressive achievement, and if you have any love for horror games whatsoever, you owe it to yourself to play Layers of Fear.- Gaming Age

The PS4 is now fully loaded for all the interactive drama adventure genre games you could want. I would probably put Until Dawn at the top of the list of games in the genre, but Heavy Rain still holds a red balloon in my heart.- Gaming Age

It’s probably absurd and unfair to expect him to be able to do that every time, but at the same time, since he did it once, it feels like a letdown that he couldn’t do it again with Volume. By any other standard, this would be a perfectly fine achievement, but by Bithell’s standard, it feels slightly lessened.- Gaming Age

Overall, I’m genuinely impressed by Into the Stars. It’s a fun game that’s easy to control and learn, but provides enough depth that strategy fans will likely get a kick out of this, along with more casual players.- Gaming Age

If nothing else, then, Gravity Rush Remastered acts as a nice proof-of-concept for what may be possible when Gravity Rush 2 eventually arrives on the PS4.- Gaming Age

For a minimal price, I guess you could say that it neither overpromises nor underdelivers, which is good, but considering it’s not even one of the Vita’s better casual phone ports, I don’t know why you’d want to bother.- Gaming Age

When the force awakens, it does so for everyone – good and bad. Just as the next generation of Big Deals in the Star Wars galaxy includes players on both sides, the new tables for Zen Pinball 2 include one for the good guys and one for the bad.- Gaming Age

The Mega Man titles for both the NES and the Game Boy have already been featured on the Nintendo eShop, so if you already own any of those I can’t recommend the Legacy Collection. If you don’t own any of the Mega Man titles on your 3DS and really want to take down some robot masters (I’m coming for you Dust Man) on the go, then the Legacy collection is a good buy.- Gaming Age

That's how it usually is with the very best works of art, of course: they take the mundane and ordinary, and make them seem deep and meaningful. It's something Gone Home excels at, and it's what makes it worth picking up now that it's finally arrived on consoles.- Gaming Age

No, it feels, as I said, like Oxenfree’s writers had written themselves into a corner, and figured a mostly unexplained offscreen resolution was the only way to get out of it. If you’re able to overlook that and focus on the first 95% or so that’s highly satisfying, you should still go for it, since the journey up to that point is extremely well-done, but if you want any sort of closure, be aware before you go into it that this game’s ending is going to drive you nuts.- Gaming Age

I haven’t played Conquest or Revelation yet, so I can’t make direct comparisons to them at this point in time. However, Birthright is an engrossing experience that will keep even the most veteran gamers busy for many hours on end.- Gaming Age

I’m certainly engaged enough with this first chapter to see things through to the end, and I imagine you will be too. Just go in with some expectations in check, this isn’t the Telltale game that’s going to reinvent the wheel for their particular style of gameplay. But it does serve as a solid introduction to a well-known, and well-liked character from The Walking Dead, and hopefully spirals into some interesting revelations the further we proceed.- Gaming Age

Yeah, it’s a full-priced, online multiplayer game (which can be a tough sell), but it’s one that’s jam-packed with content from a developer that’s been typically generous with delivering new updates and support.- Gaming Age

It’s that disconnect between idea and execution that makes BigFest such a frustrating game to play. Almost every step of the way, you can see what the developers were trying to do — but you can also see where they fell short. If that gap didn’t exist, there’s a good chance this game would be worth playing…but it does exist, which means that you can probably skip it.- Gaming Age
