Rent it for a bit if you're particularly interested, but what could have really been a solid game turns out as almost half of one with an obvious focus on the unorthodox abilities that is just not going to cut it.- Gaming Age

Admittedly, at just $2, it’s hard to be that worked up about Mr. Blaster. But plenty of mobile games have shown that $2 can still give you a lot of content — and content is one thing Mr. Blaster clearly doesn’t have, which is why you should feel no concern about skipping it.- Gaming Age

To give A Day Without Me some credit – very, very limited credit – it’s got some interesting ideas. Putting your character in an empty neighbourhood and asking you to figure out what happened could’ve made for an engaging mystery. But that would’ve required the game being halfway decent or competent, which it’s not. No matter how intriguing the mystery at its core is, nothing can make up for the fact A Day Without Me fails so utterly at everything else, and that’s enough to make the game an easy skip.- Gaming Age

In the case of Monster Tribe, where the gameplay is atrocious and the visuals are equally bad, the idea of having to go back and consistently replay parts you've already paid is torturous. Better to not play it at all, and save yourself the frustration.- Gaming Age

To date there is no way to come closer to real boxing, without getting a bloody nose that is, than Don King Boxing. So, if you are a hardcore boxing fan or a fan of the genre I would suggest that you pick this title up. For everyone else, the controls, visuals and music make me suggest that you keep on looking.- Gaming Age

I didn't care for The Naked Brothers Band at all, and even if you are a fan of the show or band, I can't suggest picking this up. The game itself just isn't fun to play, and while I'm a big fan of music games, this one feels less based on rhythm and more so on your ability to match a pointer up with a line.- Gaming Age

What’s frustrating is that this game could have been really good. Setting aside the freaky true crime aspect of it all, the game creates a deeply unsettling atmosphere, as if you’re walking through a nightmare with a mysterious, unstoppable killer lurking somewhere in the shadows. If that doesn’t frighten you a little, I don’t know what will. But again, none of that matters all that much, since the game here is a buggy mess. Whatever creepiness or unsettling story This is the Zodiac Speaking is trying to convey doesn’t really matter all that much, not when the game is literally falling apart before your very eyes.- Gaming Age

Obviously, you could just play Nicole as a traditional VN, but that feels like it’s missing the point — and, moreover, if you do that, it’s not like the story or the characters are all that interesting. Which means your two options here are to either read through an incredibly tedious novel, or add to the tedium by turning the game into a life-sim/visual novel. Whichever way you choose to play Nicole, one thing is certain: it’s going to bore you.- Gaming Age

Combine the relatively poor visuals with monotonous level designs, and you'll find yourself in the middle of a level with no real visual cues of where you are within the level.- Gaming Age

Rent Gangs of London for some pub games on the road, but please do not encourage developers to continue putting wretch like this on a system with so much more potential.- Gaming Age

Funny games are, of course, one of the hardest things for a developer to pull off. Humour is almost entirely subjective, and what one person finds hilarious, another just won’t. As such, I recognize that someone, somewhere, might find Maize to be the funniest thing ever. I, however, did not, which means I can’t wait to be done this review so I never have to think about it again.- Gaming Age

As I said up top, even in a best-case scenario, Instant Sports Paradise would’ve felt like a bargain basement version of Wii Sports Resort. But this can’t even achieve that very low target. Instant Sports Paradise is a lousy game that’s completely and utterly lacking in every way imaginable.- Gaming Age

Unsurprisingly, there’s a direct correlation between game not working properly and me not liking it. I can overlook outdated graphics, and I can overlook a mediocre plot. But when a game just doesn’t function — and make no mistake, The Dreamlands: Aisling’s Quest doesn’t — that’s simply unforgivable.- Gaming Age

The story is a bit bland and uninteresting (really, Jedi Knight did it so much better), and while the inclusion of new characters is a nice change, it'd be better to see them come to life in a more entertaining fashion than Lethal Alliance offers.- Gaming Age

Again, if the game were released for under $10 or for the same price as their phone app with the same features, some of these glaring omissions might not be as great of an issue. I just have a hard time pushing a $20 game that puts in such little effort to appease fans or even fully utilize the basics that have been in baseball games since the 8-bit era.- Gaming Age

Contrary to how the game describes itself, you’re not solving any puzzles — just clicking around, picking up objects, and walking back and forth between rooms. In that respect, I guess, Without Escape is a pretty perfect imitation of the games it admires and emulates. It’s a waste of time — albeit a short one — that reminds you of just how far games have come from the early ‘90s.- Gaming Age
