A decent game; it's just not the best out there.
-
Fans of arcade-style tennis games like "Virtua Tennis" or "Smash Court" will probably find the gameplay in WTA Tour Tennis a bit sluggish, and the lack of variety in the modes doesn't help the game's case, either.
-
Its unimpressive graphics and unrealistic physics keep it firmly anchored in the 'arcadey' and 'rent before you buy' categories though, despite an above-average attention to small audio details.

Game InformerSadly, the gameplay is buggy. [June 2002, p.79]
-
A bland take on the sport that just doesn't have what it takes to match up to the competition.
-
I strongly, highly, urgently plead that you just don't waste precious time on this title.
