Nearly every aspect of Kung Fu Rider seems in-line with a cheap downloadable game.- Gaming Age

And that, in a nutshell, is the perfect descriptor for Devil May Cry HD Collection: torture. I don’t know what your memories may be telling you about these games from 10-15 years ago, but I can tell you that if you play them now, it’s likely to leave you wondering how they could have become so beloved in the first place. If you have fond memories, keep them there, rather than allowing them to become sullied by this hideous abomination.- Gaming Age

Again, you may be tempted to pick Dragon Fin Soup while you can, because the allure of a free game can be mighty hard to resist. In this case, however, you'll quickly discover that the game's price is more a reflection of its actual value than a secret bargain. Avoid it at all costs, even if that cost is zero.- Gaming Age

Most traditional RPG fans will find themselves bored and frustrated with SaGa's extremely open-ended and unforgiving game design, but those select few who find themselves excited by these prospects will proclaim this one of the most satisfying experiences in recent memory.- Gaming Age

If you’re a fan of Neopets, you’ll probably end up wanting to check this out because, well, you’re a fan. However, for the majority of the gaming populace, avoid this game like the plague. There’s no fun to be had here.- Gaming Age

If you've got a real "post-apocalyptic-fight-the-aliens-and-robots" itch to scratch, then you might get a kick out of this one. Anyone else will become bored far too quickly to bother.- Gaming Age

The passion is gone from this franchise and something needs to be done to get it back. The good thing is, like many other die hard wrestling fans, I’m very forgiving and this year’s enhancement talent-like performance won’t deter me from checking out next year’s release. But unfortunately, I can’t recommend this year’s release to anyone. Stick with the older games in the series for now.- Gaming Age

The AI in Shifters is absolutely laughable. Enemies get caught up on walls, chairs, corners - standing to the side of a door and repeatedly hacking an enemy in the head kills the heroic atmosphere deader than Cher's career.- Gaming Age

I really wish I could say that Hammer of Virtue is a fun game despite its many, many issues. Really, I do. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing as fun in games as making the world around you come crashing down. But Hammer of Virtue shows there’s limits to even that. You need to be fun and functional, and Hammer of Virtue is very clearly neither of those things.- Gaming Age

There’s a lot of potential there, but unfortunately Hazel Sky never really gets into any of that. Instead, you get Shane and Erin talking about what they want to do in the future. While I’ve always had a soft spot for stories about characters on the peripheries of something bigger – only so many main characters can be The Chosen One, after all – in this case, it’s hard to care about any of it. Or maybe it’s just hard to care because the game is so poorly designed and so frustrating. Whether you’re falling through the world, or having a needed object vanish out of your hands (which happened to me with alarming regularity), or merely just fighting with the camera, Hazel Sky is chock full of terrible decisions.- Gaming Age

So yeah, avoid this one. It's a short, unremarkable romp through a movie universe that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to begin with. The actual combat isn't particularly awful or broken; it's just bland and not that fun, with no real redeeming qualities. Even at a discounted price, which it should have been at right out of the gate, you'd be better off passing on this one.- Gaming Age

To recap: the characters are bad, the story is dull, the visuals are uninteresting, the music is awful, the gameplay is repetitive even by the standards of the genre. Basically, there’s nothing good about Roommates, and there’s no reason whatsoever to play it.- Gaming Age

It’s the lousy performance that really makes Demolish & Build a game to avoid. If it was just a game about mundane business, that would be fine — the Farm Simulator series has shown there’s a lot of fun to be had in day-to-day tasks. But this game makes it a challenge to even do the mundane, which means you’re left with dull tasks that are a chore to finish. The only thing you should take a sledgehammer to is this game.- Gaming Age

It doesn’t matter how little action there is on the screen, it’s fairly common here to have everything slow to a crawl as the eponymous heroes do crazy things like moving from left to right. But that would be forgivable if Mushroom Heroes was otherwise a good game — and by “good,” I mean “fully playable.” If it were (or if it gets patched after this review is written), it would definitely be worth recommending to puzzle platformer fans, but in this state, it’s just a game that needs to be avoided.- Gaming Age

Here's how blandly forgettable Last Wings is: as far as aerial combat games on the Vita go, its only real competition is Luftrausers, which has a glitch that makes completing 100% of the game impossible. It's still more fun to play Luftrausers, glitch and all, than it is to play Last Wings.- Gaming Age

Overall, Karateka is not a fun experience. The whole game feels more like a mini game and less like an action title. Clunky controls and limited gameplay hurt this one badly. Before you know it, the game is over almost before it began. Even if you enjoyed the original, I can't recommend this one.- Gaming Age
