Nintendo PowerSadly, the game lacks a two-player mode, but the classics are so fun you wouldn't want to share anyway. [Jan 2002, p.152]
-
Three of the four are really good.
-
It's good for those that want all their classics in one cart - but the Game Boy Color versions are exactlt the same.
-
Mediocre at best, but the straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that there is no battery to save your scores to. No battery, no scores, no fun.
-
"Defender II." It's hard to imagine why that one is omitted, since it should use the same graphics as the included "Defender."
-
Whats missing is anything to differentiate this collection from the other re-releases these games have seen. Even the most nostalgic gamers wont find anything to get excited about.
-
What an absolute disaster. These games are classics, and the only folks old enough to remember these will be put off by the sub-standard conversion done here. These games deserver better treatment. It could have been so much better.
