Don't be expecting anything groundbreaking with Hydrophobia. Although, I mildly enjoyed myself while playing through this game, the annoying control scheme and rather standard gameplay leaves me feeling like the game has a little more potential than what was tapped into.

Graphically this game looks very good, and it does play reasonably well. But the game has very little in the way of options and even at the beginning stages of racing it is hard to accrue points simply because your machine is not that good.

Minimal load times, fast-paced on-the-ice action and a steady array of power-ups make for a game that plays well, controls well and has only a slight learning curve. What hurts the game is the lack of game options - there are really only three ways to play it and two are online.

A classic and a disappointment rolled into one. You’ll love it, you’ll hate it. But you won’t be disinterested.

The game will lose a lot of younger gamers mostly because of frustrating game design, like the checkpoint system or the lack of any sort of map. The upgrade and combat system is well implemented surprisingly fun to play.

Frogwares has put together an adventure that offers a fun story plot, engaging puzzles and interesting dialogue. The execution is a little rough in parts, with the awkward movement cursor, the sudden appearance of actions that couldn't be accomplished before, and the whole glove thing, but these don't take away much from the overall game experience.

Although Sega really hasn't gone to great extents to attract casual players with Phantasy Star Portable 2, long-time fans will no doubt enjoy the gameplay tweaks and online features – not to mention leveling up to around 200. If that's your thing, have at it.

A solid challenge for younger gamers, the game treads familiar platforming ground, but manages to capture the themes of the television show. Not overly original, still the license is used decently here to power a solid side-scrolling platformer.

It’s a cute and solidly built game whose only downfall is that it may not appease a long-term appetite for many gamers.

Ninety-Nine Nights uses the Dynasty Warriors formula to perfection, having no glitches, a steady camera, and seamless attacking. Perfection is then lost by the formula; a game structure that has players jamming on the X and Y buttons from the moment the game begins.

The first impressive thing that you will notice about GT Advance 3 is the fluid movement and no slowdown in the gameplay. Everything runs quickly and smoothly.

A few errors are made here, but the series has, nonetheless, been reinvigorated.

Not a terrible waste of a good license. It just emphasized specific issues while forgetting some important ones, such a game play balance.

Fuzion Frenzy 2 won’t dazzle you with brand new game modes or a whole new party game concept, but the online element will ensure that you’ll never have to play it alone.

If you are a fan of the Beach Head games you will most definitely enjoy this title. Plain and simple just aim and fire that’s about it!

It is the sixth overall expansion for the game (Adventure Packs don’t count; neither do live updates), and while it does add elements, it is lacking in that sense of adventure that has marked some earlier expansions.

I like the pace and challenge the game offers once you settle in to how things operate and how long certain things take.

Spore Hero has some great features. The monster-making in and of itself is deep and satisfying, and engaging. There are tons of body parts, and the manner in which players will earn them through the quests has the potential to keep players questing away. Unfortunately, the battles and dancing games aren't nearly as well-designed, and cannot be avoided. Best for older children who aren't easily frustrated.

Skate 3 takes one step back for every step forward. Creating custom skate parks is a blast, especially now that vert works without a hitch, but that doesn't substitute for an uninspired city-scape.

The Princess and the Frog successfully conveys the lighthearted spirit of the original film, and presents itself as something completely approachable for young girls. Given the film’s surprisingly nuanced composition, it is only regrettable that some deeper elements weren’t put into play for older audiences.

A big part of the game’s failure lies in the controls that seem so difficult at times that performing any move, no matter how simple, can become a grueling experience for gamers thinking the game’s arcade style makes for easy character control.

Looks good and sounds great, but Enter the Dragonfly lacks depth of play. It is a safe arcade-adventure outing.
