I personally am not a wrestling fan, but I am a fan of the SK/Mummy movies, and enjoyed myself despite the game being mostly average.
-
Not a terrible waste of a good license. It just emphasized specific issues while forgetting some important ones, such a game play balance.
-
For grizzled old veterans of the action game realm, the Point of View developed movie piece leaves a lot to be desired.
-
Nintendo PowerCool moves, interactive environments and obstacles aplenty highlight the action-packed beat-'em-up. [Oct 2002, p.196]
-
Stays true to the roots of its license, but that doesn't make it a very interesting or entertaining game.
-
Game InformerThis sucks rocks...Avoid this stinker at all costs. [Oct 2002, p.87]
-
Entertainment WeeklySuffers from mostly drab visuals, poor animation, and a level design that might have looked good in King Tut's day. [27 Sept 2002]
