It is a fun game, and will provide enough challenge for your child - without distracting them too much from the purpose of the game. The child will learn, and have fun doing it. 'Nuff said!

Cradle of Rome is surprisingly addictive, easy to play, and challenging from a number of different angles.

After about the sixth level of shooting anything that moves, players may get bored, unless they really like shooters.

It’s not the prettiest, nor the best sounding game around, far from it, but the gameplay gives it a heart and soul a lot of technically superior games can only dream of, making Excitebike relevant all these years after its original release.

MLB 09 doesn’t set new grounds, but it does a serviceable job not screwing everything up. Last year’s version was somewhat better, so it’s unfortunate that this year’s iteration took a step back.

If all you are looking for is a good-looking program and a reason to shoot just about everything that moves, this could be the program you are looking for.

FATE is a wonderful example of game mechanics, visuals, and level design orchestrated into a cohesive experience. Regrettably, that experience is also very short and anticlimactic. BIT.TRIP FATE isn't my favorite entry in the series, but it is an incredibly unique shooter that is enjoyable while it lasts.

The brighter colors means that, even if you weren't lucky or financially stable enough to pick up a GBA SP, you'll still be able to see the game pretty clearly.

The physics need major work, the AI seems a little funny, the sound is terrible, and frankly, the racing just isn't that exciting.

Lego Star Wars III should easily be the best the series has to offer. With superior graphics and a decent variety of game styles, it easily overcomes any shortcomings in narrative. Unfortunately, the same problems that have plagued previous Lego games are still on display: difficult to control vehicles, overly simplified combat, unresponsive controls, glitches, drawn out levels, and poor guidance.

A good collection of once-great hits – some that have stood the test of time, and some that have not.

Everything or Nothing may not be Bond’s most shining moment as far as GBA games go, but there is still some fun to be had in this third-person action game.

The new content does its job of keeping the appeal factor high, but the bugs, lack of story depth and uninteresting characters don’t exactly invite in newcomers.

What boosts it from the average title is the combination of excellent graphics and solid game play.

Fans of the early Spider-Man games will certainly get a kick out of Web of Shadows and, thanks to a number of interesting features; it’s one of the better PSP games featuring the Web-slinger. Still, there are some issues that do hold this game back from being a truly amazing superhero game but what is here is still fun if you’re looking for solid portable Spider-Man game.

Controls are rather stiff and PC-like, giving you less maneuverability than desired.

With the graphics firmly in place, and the gameplay simplified, this is a game that really should build the foundation for a major step into the limelight. FIFA Street 3 is fine, but lacks a robust variety of game modes, and thus suffers for it.

Offers a decent amount of fun building and designing exhibits, but with no ability to build from "scratch" and a small variety of animals, the enjoyment level may soon falter... The ability to choreograph the animal shows is the best feature.

The game would have benefited from a release date of last summer. It is a decent enough game, but just does not hold a candle to the other group of truly next-gen FPS on the 360.

If party games are your thing and you love the One Piece series, Pirates' Carnival will satisfy your craving for a multiplayer board game.

Although this game may be somewhat too challenging it is fun and would make a good addition to your army game collection.

Need for Speed Undercover makes a good attempt to recapture the visceral sense of racing that the series made its name on, but doesn’t bring much new to the table.

Unfortunately, SWAT: Global Strike Team doesn’t quite capture the true essence of the tactical squad-based action genre in ways other games before it does.

Safari Rescue is too simplistic to be for everyone, but the younger set to which the game is geared should enjoy the varied gameplay.

A nice attempt to reboot the franchise, NCAA Basketball 09 adds some new features and revamps the on-court play, but ultimately feels like a flawed and barebones college basketball experience.

Victoria newbies will definitely look upon the game with confused glares at first, and even after going through the extensive tutorial, might find themselves scratching their heads with confusion more often than not.
