Luminous Arc 2 doesn’t attempt to reinvent the RPG nor does it push the strategy game genre forward but it’s certainly a very enjoyable game that RPG fans will certainly appreciate. Still, the strategic combat action isn’t the strongest element in the game and the story is a bit by-the-numbers but there is still some fun to be had in this decent strategy/RPG.

Pokemon Trozei is different, addictive, and has some great multiplayer options.

Both demanding and highly enjoyable at the same time, thus making this a love-it-or-hate-it type of game.

It is not overly challenging in terms of resource management, but the strangeness of this world’s inhabitants and their civilizations make this a nice little program.

Original Supreme Commander purists might be gathering their pitchforks, but the bold move to make the game appeal to a broad audience who might have found the original extremely daunting was something the series needed.

The platform action is very good and engrossing. The location of save checkpoints is problematic at times, and the race levels are frustrating and can block progress for some players even on the easy level.

While this definitely expands the world of UO in terms of new territories, it still offers much the same in gameplay aspects.

The tutorials are helpful, the character creation elements are amusing, and the display and presentation of the game outperform every other poker game available.

While it does add some new concepts to the genre, it still may leave you feeling like it wasn't quite geared up for the power of the Xbox.

This racing game is made for lovers of all things GM. No, I'm lying to see if you're paying attention. If you don't love Mustangs, you won't like this game.

This cartridge offers some of the best games from my childhood, and I’m very happy that now I can enjoy them whenever I want.

There isn’t anything exceptional about this game, but it compares well to most adventure games being released today. Fans of Broken Sword won’t be disappointed.

Touch Detective’s old-school, slow-paced gameplay may not be for everyone, but fans of the genre will enjoy the quirky aesthetic and witty story.

Compared only to PS2 racers, Test Drive Unlimited is fantastic. The content is amazingly deep. If there’s a sports car you’d love to drive, chances are it can be found in this game.

Considering the 50 MB limit posed by Microsoft on all Xbox Live Arcade games, RoboBlitz’s great Unreal Engine 3 powered graphics are made all the more extraordinary. If only the gameplay were up to the same snuff.

While it doesn’t quite reach the level of fighting game goodness that you would find on the console version, The King of Fighters Collection for the PSP is not a bad alternative for portable gamers.

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution is still Borderlands and I still enjoyed it immensely. Yes, the environments, missions and bosses were too repetitive from what we have seen already, and the loot was not satisfying, but Borderlands never needs much help to be entertaining.

From the opening screen, you feel comfortable with the game. Though not so easy to master, the controls are not too complex that it will take days of playing to get the swing of it.

Lords of Shadow is not without a handful of unfortunate imperfections, but that does not invalidate the fact that there is no more painstakingly-crafted action adventure currently available for this generation of consoles. MercurySteam has raised the bar especially in both art design and overall presentation, and should be extremely proud of their creation.

RISK: Factions is a Xbox Live Arcade board game worthy of any strategy fan's attention. It doesn't break the standard formula nor does it take any risks to become anything more than an adaptation.

Dark Sector is a pleasant enough distraction for any fan of action or shooting games. It’s not likely to keep you busy for too long, since there’s little replay value to be found.

A game with decent entertainment value. The AI seems pretty tight and the game looks pretty good. Unfortunately online could not be tested. The single-player campaign is decent with a challenge that ramps up slightly as you move along. Still this game should have appeal to those who are fans of the sport.

Izuna is one rough quest, and the old-school gameplay and unforgiving difficulty are a stark contrast to the story’s lighthearted tone. However, if you’re looking for a good story and one tough cookie, then this one is for you.
