A fast, frantic, and high-octane style of tennis. If this sounds like fun then you will feel right at home. Anyone looking for a more realistic approach will want to find another source.

The completely revamped gameplay might turn off some fans of the series and the story isn’t quite what it should be for the end of a chapter in the Command & Conquer universe, but there is a lot of perks and upgrades to be found here for those that stick with this radical departure from the series’ mechanics.

Kenka Bancho is another fine example of a quirky title that finally makes the trek stateside. While the gameplay has some issues, fans of original titles with odd themes should check this one out.

The first five games in the series are faithfully duplicated for the PS2 in all of their glorious, if not aging, splendor. But gameplay is really the key for any fighting game and this collection will not disappoint.

What is important here is the fun factor, which I think is pretty high. The game keeps you quite involved and makes you have the feeling of just one more game.

Go Diego Go Safari Rescue is a fun and (slightly) educational game for the DS. It’s for the youngest players, and as such, is very easy. However, the designers did a good job of making most of the activities engaging and educational.

The mini-games are a varied assortment, and feature randomization. However, the game is too short and too easy for older players.

Super Mario All-Stars on the Wii is not a bad compilation by any means. The included content is solid and offers a good look at the early years of the series. Unfortunately, everything in the bundle is fairly predictable and doesn't exactly shine for a momentous benchmark like this.

Konductra is a great and highly creative puzzler that might be too much for most gamers to handle.

Kinectimals took me by surprise. It's not an amazing game by any means, but rather a cool pet simulator that doesn't dip too far into nausea-inducing cuteness.

A lot of fun to play, and even when I got annoyed at getting killed due to the camera giving me a problem (which happened more than it probably should have), I found myself going back in and playing it again.

All of the time management games are similar in concept; the preferred game is chosen due to what themes the player may like best. Cakes, burgers, weddings, dinners, cooking, farming, it just depends on the gamer's taste. Up to now, I've preferred Cake Mania, but Wedding Dash is fast winning a place in my heart.

Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City requires a level of commitment that few RPGs dare to ask of players. You will struggle to survive and you will curse the hours of grinding to restock your supplies, but the victorious satisfaction of beating the odds and reaching the next floor makes it all worthwhile.

An innovative premise hides a conventional, but fairly streamlined set of gameplay modes that should keep young audiences occupied for hours. A bit more variety in the gameplay could really improve the experience for a sequel.

This year's iteration is one step forward, three steps back, and an awkward shuffle to the side, but there is still a great deal of familiar content included in Call of Duty: Black Ops that should satiate trigger-happy fans.

The personality and surreal art style of Earthworm Jim HD win out over the fidgety controls, but they aren't capable of moving the title into the stratosphere of a must-buy.
