While it falters a little on the technical front in terms of graphics, KOTOR 2 is a great game that takes the classic gameplay of the original game and expands it with a brand new story and 30 to 40 more hours of gameplay.

This is definitely one of those games that you find yourself playing over and over and each time the fight will be totally different in more ways than one.

A must have for anyone who appreciates the art of tactical strategy. The general package left a taste of blood in my mouth, and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Definitely one of the best games I have played on Gamecube. Even the occasional camera problem didn’t hinder my enjoyment of this one.

Farming couldn't be more satisfying than this. Sure keeping your farm up and running is a task that has you working overtime but there's a lot of fun to be had in the process.

The best console version released in North America. It's got everything that you love plus more challenges, a dance editor and a number of extras that DDR enthusiasts will go crazy for. Unlockables are plentiful and are not easily opened.

The controls are very simple and there is a variety of different ways to get things done in this game. The object is to find the most effective way to do it, so you do not waste too much time and energy playing one level.

NASCAR 06: Total Team Control isn't able to surpass the overall greatness of last year's game but with all the new additions this is one is downright enjoyable and a step in the right direction for the series.

The improvements over the launch title are immense but the overall changes to the gameplay mechanics just make this an addictive treat.

Left 4 Dead is a great multiplayer shooter with many elements that you won’t find in any other shooter this year. The co-op experience is unrivaled and the dynamic AI is an excellent design choice.

The closest Sega has come to creating the perfect Virtua Fighter sequel. Virtua Fighter 5’s fast-paced, in-your-face combat harkens back to the original.

An excellent new addition to the splinter group of action games centered around horror. I suspect they will make a sequel and I suspect it too will spawn a franchise. Dead Space gets it right when it comes to the scares.

The game does open up new areas of the island, and does challenge players. It is graphically strong, and a welcomed addition to the Morrowind realm.

A truly magnificent game.

This focused approach allows the game to present more of a story-driven environment that is effectively dramatic in its mostly factual portrayal of historical events.

Sports amazing graphical elements, and a solid plot.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is the flight/combat game no one should be without.

This expansion scores on almost every level in bringing new and improved changes to the game. While the essential elements of EQ remain, Dragons of Norrath makes it easier for players to find a guild and embark on all the elements this game has to offer.

The challenge is back for the upper-level players and the new class is fun to play. The game also sports some wonderful new attributes which make grouping more fun and rewarding.

The concept is a very good one and the instruments are terrific, but might be problematic for families that want to play all four parts but only have one or two Wii-motes. The issue with the font used on a standard television is also a problem.

The game modes feel a lot more complete this year and it all feels good on the Xbox. Some AI problems do crop up, but it doesn't get annoying.

The fact that the mountain is alive and teeming with other skiers makes this game that much better because it has a feeling of more realism in comparison to the other games in the series.

Though there are only scant few improvements, the gameplay is still solid and a blast!

Officially this game is fun and plays very well on the Xbox platform, with sterling graphics and sound, and challenging gameplay. The game is linear but tells a good story and has a great look and feel.

With inventive puzzles, dazzling visuals and a wonderful game world just ripe for exploration, this is a launch title worth buying.

It provides a great looking, challenging boxing title which has enough challenges and difficulties to keep you coming back to get drilled on some more.

The animation is exceptional, and the options package is certain to give fans of this sport many enjoyable hours of total gridiron immersion.

A whole other ballgame that not only looks great but plays like a game worthy of giving this year’s "MVP Baseball" and "MLB 2K" game a run for their money.

The audio of NBA 2K3 is exceptional.

Hitman 2 will really earn major points for the open-ended game design. With numerous ways to complete one mission, this will be a game that will get a lot of playtime.

Scary, intense, fun and totally enjoyable. The Thing is a qualified hit, and anyone who doesn’t mind the level of violence, gore and blood will find this an addicting experience.

This is not only a challenging game, but a whole lot of fun to play.

The stability woes, a few clipping problems, and finite game boards do present some drawbacks to the game. The good news is that this game is so good you can forgive all that.

Tears of Blood manages to hook fans of the genre with its gorgeous style and great story. It’s not as epic as the Final Fantasy games but it is still well worth playing.

Ultra violence at its most satisfying with a rich story that will have you cheering for Agent 47 every blood soaked step of the way.

Basketball doesn’t get any better than this.

The new environment additions are beautifully twisted, the characters are much more memorable this round being hilariously insane sometimes, and the last and best add-on in Shivering Isles are the missions.

The sound track is exceptional. The music is solid, the vocal abuse is crisp, and the sound effects are exactly what one would expect to hear.

There are a few minor problems, such as coloration of some uniforms (Vikings helmets are more blue than purple) and the helmets lack the sharp glossy look of other games. But when it comes to facial animation, NFL 2K3 is way ahead of the pack.

An unparalleled simulation game for a handheld machine.

I was once obsessed with the idea of Fable. Now that a new version of it has been released and still hasn't delivered on the promises of Peter Molyneux, it's a tad disappointing.

Graphically, the game is stunning, and while there are a few stumbles along the way, nothing truly detracts from the strategic enjoyment one gets from this game. This is a wonderful step-up for the franchise.

While the keyboard configuration might not work for some people (trust me, an analog gamepad is highly recommended), the controls are fluid and the wave physics are great.

You’ll know the first time you play it whether this game is for you – you’ll either be immediately dissuaded by its complexity and depth, or you’ll fall in love with them. It might be the very definition of “niche title”, but for those who get it, Knights in the Nightmare provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Quite possibly the best rally racing game available for the Xbox thus far, Colin McRae Rally 04 is the game to buy if you’re looking for rally racing done right.

The story is engrossing; the voice-acting is stellar; the music is awe-inspiring; and the battles are just as entertaining as before.

Consider this, you can play the game almost anyway you wish, with strict rules or with the attitude. This is a game that is highly entertaining to play and watch.

Fitting right at home on the console, Civilization Revolution is a genuinely addictive simulator that will not fail to impress and please fans of the Civ series.

Big Bang Mini is a distinctive game that simply wouldn’t work on any system but the DS—but there it works brilliantly. With so much content, challenge, and visual insanity packed into a $20 title, this game deserves a spot in any DS owner’s library.

While not as breathtaking as the next-generation version of the game, Call of Duty 3 for the original Xbox will still not fail to impress with its great visuals, intense action and great multiplayer mode.

The sequel adds in a lot of new unlockable content to help extend replay value, new face offs with vocals, longer button holds, and even instruments, and the overall controls and challenge seem a lot better in this version.

Yet another great GameCube action game fans of the Prince will thoroughly enjoy from start to finish.

The game also sustains virtually no loading times, despite its faithful recreation of a ambient gothic world. Even with the impressive graphics, the game still runs smooth as silk.

Wildly entertaining and loaded with enough bullet-fueled action to keep action aficionados more than pleased, Borderlands for the Xbox 360 should be on the very top of your Must Have list. Filled with more than enough missions, plenty of skills and loads of guns, this is over-the-top action at its most insane.

Vexx is a stellar, high-quality, praise-worthy game that deserves to be enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of gamers.

Odin Sphere is the ultimate non-RPG. You will be immersed. You will be awestruck. You will be inspired to play through every stage again and again.

This game brings us all the juicy extras we all love in our wrestling games and has plenty of game modes to sink our teeth into but it still has a long way to go if it wants to be the ultimate pro wrestling title.

Isn’t as fast as "Marvel vs. Capcom 2," as pretty as "Guilty Gear X2," or as smooth as "Street Fighter 3," but it’s a 2D fighter that’s online.

Illegal street racing has never looked and felt so right and with Need for Speed Underground 2 you'll find it hard not to fall in love with this fun racing game.

A spectacular game... It's very lengthy, very deep, and has some obvious (yet confusing) puzzles that'll drive you nuts! The story is good, too, and the music is extremely enjoyable.

Comes close to outshining the main game in certain aspects and should be considered a 'Must Buy' for loyal followers of the franchise.

The levels are fast-paced and exciting, with lots of non-bloody mayhem. However, the game offers limited replay value, and will be too difficult for many younger players.

Not a huge departure from previous SSX games, SSX on Tour is still the best extreme snowboarding game available.

Could have been titled Mario 64 Plus. Plus new characters. Plus new stages. Plus new mini-games. Plus touch screen controls. Plus new music, not to mention incredible sound quality that blows Game Boy Advance out of the water.

Players will love the new features in this game and will come to long for them if they pop in an older game for nostalgia sake.

The story for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory feels like it was taken directly out of one of Tom Clancy’s novels.

The difficulty might turn a lot of gamers off (it almost did for me) but if you give it a real chance you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Stylish and amazingly realistic, Colin McRae Rally 3 does a brilliant job of capturing the essence of rally racing while keeping it delightfully fun.

Can be a tough mountain to master due to the sheer amount of detail that was placed into it if you aren’t a patient person, but it’s really enjoyable even while learning and is especially fun once you get the hang of it.

Knowing the story is a great asset here, but I feel that anyone can enjoy this one. The colors, characters and environment add to the challenge of the quests.

By far one of the most delightfully engaging and deep basketball games on the PSP so far, NBA ‘07 is not only an improvement over last year’s fun offering but it’s also a game that is good enough to give the other NBA b-ball games a run for their money.

I am really looking forward to seeing what the developers of this game have to offer in their next game.

You don't have to be a fan of the comic book to enjoy this unique and wonderfully addictive game that manages to cram in all the things you could ask for in an action RPG.

Harder to control than it should be. I love both the Xbox and GC controllers (a rarity, since most gamers like one, but hate the other), but Madden was not developed for either of them.

Even though this series has had its bumps along the way, the end product was completely worth it.

A remarkable, well-designed program. It is challenging and entertaining.

The mystery is intriguing and the puzzles interesting to figure out. Kids will have a good time using their brains to decipher lots of clues.

This game is what a zombie-killer game should be. It offered all the creativity, hilarity, and destruction any gamer could ask for and then some.

Korg DS-10 is definitely not for everyone, because of the simple fact that it is deep, rich, and does not ignore the details. There's a lot of potential here just waiting to be unlocked, that is for sure. If you're interested in music and what to put your creativity to work, give this title a go.

Canvas Curse is one of the most unique and innovative games I've played all year, including the games I played at E3.

Maintaining high standards of visual and technical expertise, while valiantly tackling the formidable task of creating a game to appeal to an almost impossibly wide audience, Lucas Learning has created a game that is worthy of praise.

The tried-and-true gameplay is intact but with just the right touch of refinement for anyone to pick up and enjoy.

Takes the extreme skateboarding genre to a fresh and interestingly new level...all of which fans of skating games will definitely find unique and tremendously fun.

The controls take a bit of getting used to – if you are a first-time player – but are generally well designed and you should be able to understand them quickly – using them practically to score big points is another matter.

It, much like Oscar De La Hoya, not only looks really good but also puts up quite a memorable fight well worth your time and money.

You will not want to let this game out of your hands because it is extremely addicting for you and anyone who gets their hands up on.

A solid racing title with great environments, ATV Offroad Fury 3 features options galore and challenge.

Playing Nostalgia is a joy, plain and simple, in a way that too few RPGs are anymore. It’s a game that can make you feel like a fresh-faced kid, stepping out into a world of excitement and adventure for the first time – and let me tell you, it’s a good feeling.

Has enough wonderful extra and multiplayer maps to add more fuel to Ghost Recon’s highly entertaining fire.

If you liked the original game, you'll love Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams. Not only is it bigger, better and more beautiful but it's also one of those games that will win you over with its charming story and characters plus its too-fun-to-put-down platformer goodness.

This game plays well, and looks good. The musical score pops and drives this game very well. The action is well rendered and fast paced.

The core Mario Kart gameplay remains basically unchanged, but it’s well executed and slightly enhanced by minor tweaks and a variety of control setups. The online mode is the real star here, however.

Nariko, Kai and company are the most compelling characters to ever grace a video game (and yes, that is opinion). The voice acting is dead-on and the graphics are gorgeous. In the end, though, the short gameplay and similarities to God of War lower the overall score.

As far as add-ons are concerned, Broken Steel is by far the best one to come along for Fallout 3 since The Pitt.

A blast, albeit a short one. The action is very intense and the tactical elements, while light, are easy to grasp.

Packs an amazing amount of depth, challenge and excitement.

A great mix of fun and realism and it brings a lot of energy to the conservative game of golf.
