Taken as a whole, it’s a fun diversion for young fans of Demi Lovato.

Overall though, apart from a few scenes where the narrative was slowed down to seemingly a snail’s pace, Tales from the Borderlands continues to deliver an excellent experience that I urge both fans and non-fans of the Borderlands franchise to take a look at.

Galactic Keep’s unique visuals might not be for everyone, and its reliance on luck makes for some teeth-gritting moments. That’s just picking space-nits, though. RPG fans of any stripe should make alien-bashing a priority.

Overall, however, Pocket God vs Desert Ashes is a very decent Advance Wars mimic, and fans of the franchise will have a good time — especially since there are no quick wins via in-app purchases.

Barmark is an experience, and if you enjoy staring at nice visuals or like using your iPad as a living photo frame, then Barmark is something you might be interested in. But to anyone else looking for an actual game to play, keep on moving.

Against all odds, Tap Sports Football has taken the most complicated pro sport around and turned it into something very basic, and that alone should make you curious enough to give it a try.

The best parts of Pac-Man are still here, and all the new features are now some of the best parts of Pac-Man.

From the funky little heroes themselves to the striking enemy models to the user interface and soundtrack, Rush of Heroes is a charming little casual adventure game that is sure to please kids, and maybe their parents too.

The premise was an engaging one, but unfortunately I found the execution lacking.

The slower pace governing Monsters Ate My Metropolis won’t appeal to everyone, especially since its bouncy graphics and silly soundtrack gives the impression that the game is supposed to fly by at a million miles per hour. However, anyone who likes a touch of goofiness with their strategy will have fun matching their fart attacks against a city’s retaliatory bio-waste spill.

If you’re okay with not knowing the math behind the game’s economy, and can deal with repetitive visuals, 1849 is a great little game that is sure to be worth the handful of bucks it’s going to set you back.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a full-featured, often hilarious tycoon adventure that places you at the forefront of theme park and roller coaster construction, and if you’ve got a few bucks to throw down on it, it’s highly recommended that you do — especially if you come from a Roller Coaster Tycoon pedigree from your youth as I did.

Beneath the grime is a zany RPG that I really wanted to like, but I ultimately found Doom & Destiny Advanced just wasn’t worth wading through the sludge to endure for long.

Cube Jump is just a wave rider. The game is piggy-backing on the success of another game, perhaps even picking up a few fans along the way.

Rockstars of Ooo is good enough, but Adventure Time games shouldn’t just be “good enough” — especially a music game based around a show that’s so well-known for its tunes.

I’m a firm believer that Loot & Legends will approach or reach the heights of Card Hunter, but I can only review games in the forms they take when we can actually download them to our tablets. This one is an unstable version of a classic for now, so here’s hoping we can revisit it in a few months and find it’s realized its full potential.

Taken together, though, the two Spider games create an amazing gaming event that’s not to be missed. The disturbing narrative that spans both titles is best experienced via playing through each, the two threads of a dark and consuming web.

Angry Birds 2 is a free download, so there’s nothing to be lost by giving it a try. But given how little its gameplay varies from classic Angry Birds, you might be better off paying a bit of money to grab the first game.

Overall, it would be hard to recommend the mobile version of Cosmonautica to anyone but absolute lovers of space trading games. There is great potential here, but Chasing Carrots has a lot of work to do before I’d feel comfortable giving it a proper endorsement.
