Overall though, apart from a few scenes where the narrative was slowed down to seemingly a snail’s pace, Tales from the Borderlands continues to deliver an excellent experience that I urge both fans and non-fans of the Borderlands franchise to take a look at.

Galactic Keep’s unique visuals might not be for everyone, and its reliance on luck makes for some teeth-gritting moments. That’s just picking space-nits, though. RPG fans of any stripe should make alien-bashing a priority.

Overall, however, Pocket God vs Desert Ashes is a very decent Advance Wars mimic, and fans of the franchise will have a good time — especially since there are no quick wins via in-app purchases.

However, anyone who likes a touch of goofiness with their strategy will have fun matching their fart attacks against a city’s retaliatory bio-waste spill.

Overall, Path to Luma is charming and challenging, with truly delightful rewards for solving compelling and engaging puzzles.

If you’re okay with not knowing the math behind the game’s economy, and can deal with repetitive visuals, 1849 is a great little game that is sure to be worth the handful of bucks it’s going to set you back.

March of Empires is going to be enjoyed by people who love reading number charts more than they do partaking in actual gameplay.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a full-featured, often hilarious tycoon adventure that places you at the forefront of theme park and roller coaster construction, and if you’ve got a few bucks to throw down on it, it’s highly recommended that you do — especially if you come from a Roller Coaster Tycoon pedigree from your youth as I did.

Beneath the grime is a zany RPG that I really wanted to like, but I ultimately found Doom & Destiny Advanced just wasn’t worth wading through the sludge to endure for long.

Cube Jump is just a wave rider. The game is piggy-backing on the success of another game, perhaps even picking up a few fans along the way.

Rockstars of Ooo is good enough, but Adventure Time games shouldn’t just be “good enough” — especially a music game based around a show that’s so well-known for its tunes.

I’m a firm believer that Loot & Legends will approach or reach the heights of Card Hunter, but I can only review games in the forms they take when we can actually download them to our tablets. This one is an unstable version of a classic for now, so here’s hoping we can revisit it in a few months and find it’s realized its full potential.

There’s a cool concept underlying this game, and I think with a little more thought and development it could be fun.

Race the Sun is a surprising little racing game that will sink its hook in you for quite some time.

Angry Birds 2 is a free download, so there’s nothing to be lost by giving it a try. But given how little its gameplay varies from classic Angry Birds, you might be better off paying a bit of money to grab the first game.

Overall, it would be hard to recommend the mobile version of Cosmonautica to anyone but absolute lovers of space trading games. There is great potential here, but Chasing Carrots has a lot of work to do before I’d feel comfortable giving it a proper endorsement.
