The Phantom Pain is an excellent title, albeit a little bit inconsistent. The gameplay is simply extraordinary, almost perfect, deep and bound to pave the road for the future of the stealth genre; at the same time, the plot is very powerful, but could have definitely been bolder and braver. Well, it's pretty clear that something went AWOL during the development of the game.

It's simply amazing how Journey can still be so intriguing and captivating after all these years. A testament that some works can really stand the test of time.

Forget the excruciating loading times and the grumpy framerate: Bloodborne is a wonderful game. Period. Every PS4 owner should go and buy it, no question asked. It requires an utter devotion to the cause, but it repays the player like no other game does. As they say, blood will out.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a great game, that is a fact. Its world is astonishingly huge, and it will keep everyone busy for months to come. The storytelling simply raises the bar for every other action RPG out there. Most of the flaws of the game are caused by its own ambition, and not everything can be fixed by a patch. Wonderful indeed, but not the masterpiece we were hoping for.

A great porting of the original N64 title that pushes the New Nintendo 3DS hardware to the limit. A must-have for all the Zelda fans (but you already know that, right?) and for everyone looking for something great to put in their new console.

A dream for all the old-school RPG fans, despite some typical Obsidian bugs. If you can, wait for a couple of patches before jumping aboard.

Super Mario Maker isn't just a powerful level editor, but a sincere, warm and passionate tribute to the most popular Nintendo character. The sixty+ levels created by Nintendo could easily justify the purchase, but the possibilities are really endless. A must have.

The best looking 2D game ever, there is no doubt. If you love metroidvania games, Ori and the Blind Forest is a master of the genre, despite some trial & error moments and a couple of bugs.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a great final chapter for the Rocksteady trilogy, and by far the best title in the series. Amazing storytelling, a solid, well-known yet still engaging gameplay, and a convincing open world are the highlights of a top-notch production. The monumental graphics are just the icing on the cake. Fans of the Caped Crusader, thou shall not miss this game.

The new Forza Motorsport is a magnificent, huge, beautiful and incredibly fun title. Despite some minor problems with the AI and the netcode for the multiplayer, this is hands-down the best Forza ever, in terms of content, gameplay and graphics. If you love racing games and don't own an Xbox One, FM6 could be the best reason to buy one.

Simply, the best Out Run version out there, even without the Prancing Horse on the body. A timeless classic in your pocket.

There's never been a better time to be a "Souls" fan. First Bloodborne, and now this new edition of Dark Souls 2, that benefits from a remarkable visual upgrade and from some new content.

NBA 2K16 is, simply put, the best basketball game of the year. Spike Lee aside, the game is simply huge, full of new features and incredibly fun to play.

The new expansion of the Blizzard MMORPG has a lot to offer: a great storyline, the new garrison and the boasted "back to the roots". If you're looking for a reason to return to Azeroth, well, you've found it.

Heavensward is a big expansion for A Realm Reborn, a title pretty huge in itself. The main storyline is really captivating, and so are the three new jobs. Some features require a little tweaking and some dungeons are plagued by the copy-paste syndrome, but overall Square Enix is definitely fighting on an even ground with World of Warcraft.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is, hands-down, the best installment in the Capcom Saga. The game improves basically every gameplay element that long-time fans know and love, and it's the first title to really show the capabilities of the New Nintendo 3DS. A must have.

A real blast from the past. A wonderful remake of the first two titles of the Homeworld saga, with awesome new graphics and a revamped UI that improve an already excellent RTS. A true must-have, no questions asked.

This is the Destiny the world deserves. The Taken King offers a lot of new content, but most of all it gives the players a complete (and much needed) revamp of the gameplay and the leveling system.

Heroes of the Storm manages to make room for itself in the crowded MOBA genre, thanks to its original gameplay mechanics, an outright immediacy and its addicting nature. The microtransactions are a little pricey, but everything else deserves your undivided attention.

OlliOlli 2 is a good old "more of the same", with slight graphical improvements, new tricks and grinds. The resulting gameplay is always fun and more varied, but at the same time much more difficult than the original.

It may not be the worst porting in history of videogames, but it comes pretty close. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is still a great game, but we strongly advise you to play it on Wii.

One of the best puzzle adventures of the past few years, that can be enjoyed on different levels: excellent puzzles with a great use of physics, non-linear storytelling juggling between sci-fi and philosophy, and some touches of sheer genius.

This is what SimCity should have been. Simply, the best city builder so far, with great support for modders and a lot of fun for all fans of the genre.

The new definition of fun in videogames: that is Rocket League. A formula so simple, yet so challenging and exhilarating, that it's impossible not to get hooked. The basics of the gameplay are pretty straightforward and accessible to everyone, but at the same time, as you gradually learn the ropes of the controls, things change quite a bit: the matches become more exacting and fun, thanks also to the excellent matchmaking system.

The new offering from Digital Eclipse is a nice really collection. It will probably be more appreciated by older and nostalgic gamers, but we must recommend it to the younger ones as well, because it represents an important piece of videogame history.

The new decks bring even more chaos into the game, which is always a good thing. The expansion gives you the opportunity to experiment on brand new strategies, and to play like you never did before.

The multiplayer is worth the ticket price.
