Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga achieves everything it sets out to do. Here, we have a fun, well-constructed title that gamers of all ages will enjoy.

Neves’ strength is its central concept, which is compelling, elegant and creative. It’s a must for any puzzle fan.

Whilst there’s plenty here to keep fans of F.E.A.R. happy, it’s telling that the game from which both of these titles derive is still significantly better in terms of design and playability.

It's a big-budget, beautifully crafted slice of next-gen promise kept; on many levels it's one of the best first person shooters released in a year of strong rivals, and perhaps even the best PlayStation 3 game released so far.

The presentation values are immense, but the whole inner workings of the game are nothing short of a disaster.

Basically, Timeshift is a decent game marred by a massive amount of already used ideas and not enough unique appeal, even with its time travelling mechanics. Customers who see this on a shelf, which also contains the likes of Halo 3, The Orange Box, and Call of Duty 4, will probably leave the game out in the cold this winter.

It may have all the wit and style of the series, and Simpsons fans will no doubt love picking out all the references. With no effort put into caring about how the game plays, however, it means that you might not be able to actually play the game enough to get them all.

The problem with The Simpsons Game is that as an extended episode it is great, but as a video game it is average.

Remove the excellent presentation and engaging audio, and you have a video game that is not fit for purpose.

Overall Cars Mater-National is inoffensive and bland enough to keep fans entertained until the next release in the series.

This belongs at the bottom of the bargain bins to rot for all eternity.

Despite bringing Gamestyle many hours of joyous giddy pleasure and drooling, Guitar Hero III is a teensy bit of a letdown.

So Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is not the throbbing unadulterated solo that Gamestyle had hoped for, yet it remains far from mediocrity.

Gamestyle would like to say NeverSoft have done the series proud, but the truth is everything that's great about this game has simply been taken from Harmonix's template, and the new stuff that has been added almost saps the enjoyment back out of it.

Shamefully when Jericho is finished there are no other modes to speak of. This is very disappointing as an online or co-operative mode would have been interesting with the occult backdrop and powers.

As a game, the remake of Rondo of Blood would have been a worthwhile purchase through Live arcade. As a collection, the Dracula X Chronicles is a fine example of how to compile a package.

A classic case of it "if it isn't broke, don't fix it", Trials and Tribulations carries on the series' high quality and is a fitting end to the trilogy, but it won't convert anyone waiting for the series to break out of its somewhat rigid menu-driven process of elimination.

Tools of Destruction has finally given the PS3 something to be proud of, and is pure nerdvana from start to finish.

Due to its target audience, it's understandable that EA Playground is easy, but it's inexcusable to have games that are only made challenging by their bad design.

Even after 12 years, Front Mission is a good game, and if you’re a fan of turn-based strategy games, it would be a great addition to your DS library.

Juiced 2 is hampered by the lack of tracks, unrealistic tuning and some bizarre design choices.

EA Playground is limited in its ambitions and the scope that the developer has applied to the project. Throwing seven mini-games into the mix does not make for a full game, especially when they have been executed with a five year old in mind.

Target Liberty is a game so clunky, dated and downright unlovable that between its miserable graphics, woeful presentation and tedious gameplay it feels more like a late-90s budget PC release than a premium PSP game with a price-tag to match, and playing it is as pointless and unrewarding an enterprise as you're likely to get for £30.

A solid control scheme, addictive gameplay and clever level design all make for a title worth picking up, should you be of a patient disposition.

The staple modes are offered in what is a comprehensive package, including a detailed training option that allows you to polish your fighting skills.

Instead Riff: Everyday Shooter takes you back to when games were simple; fun; addictive and a joy to experience.

Frankly its just another ‘they shouldn’t have bothered’ renamination from Sega, when the fans deserve much more.

For fans of the first two Battlefront games there is plenty here to enjoy. The single player is a limited experience which will disappoint most, but for those with access to the online features then Renegade Squadron is well worth the asking price.
