    Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
    Somehow, against all the odds, the game still manages to be fun. Perhaps it’s the sheer over-the-topness of everything, Mercenaries 2 displays an exuberance missing from so many “realistic” games these days and it is this that will hold interest long after it should have waned.

    It’s disappointing that online co-op hasn’t been included (only local), it is however quite likely it wouldn’t work due to the twitch gameplay required. It still doesn’t stop Geometry Wars 2 being an absolute steal at 800 points.

    Even at the budget price label there’s not really that much to get excited about here unless you are a massive fan of SNK’s line up and haven’t played any of these titles in years.

    The first half of the game is certainly an edge of your seat horror fest, it's only in the latter stages where the game starts to come undone with a plot that soon falls into Evil Dead 2 levels of hilarity.

    Quite frankly, even long time Dragon Ball Z fans will get limited fun out of this. Burst Limit isn't necessarily bad and can be quite fun at first, but you'll get bored of it after a few days because of the above mentioned issues and go back to playing something else.
