A solid entry into the exploration genre, but a couple of minor niggles stop it being a classic

It’s all just incredibly dull.

Genre diehards might protest the lack of difficulty but the depth is there for players content to meander at Hero Generations’ own pace.

But overall, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is an enthralling tale, told with aplomb, leaving just enough to interpretation to provide a satisfactory conclusion for everyone.

Overall, Tembo the Badass Elephant may be short and a bit cumbersome but it is also a fair amount of fun and keeps players interested by introducing new things at regular intervals.

Overall, Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm is a solid fighting game with some nice mechanics but it really has its work cut out to overthrow the current crop of fighters.

Even after all these years it’s still an (upper)cut above the rest.

Simple in concept and masterful in execution. A++ for N++.

Life is Strange continues rolling to what I hope will be an epic conclusion. The pieces are certainly in place, whether Dontnod are able to fit them together is still up in the air. As it stands though, this has been one of the biggest surprises of the year and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Ronin is a good game, with an excellent idea for combat that is slightly devalued by an almost absolute need to stealthily take out enemies before entering battle. It frequently reminds you that this is not a stealth game but it is with stealth that you often make the best progress.

Overall, Blazblu Chronophantasma Extend is a must for anyone who is into their fighting games and this is right up there with anything on the PS4.

A ton of video game references and cultural in-jokes… but as always and once again, it turned out to be quite a juicy guilty pleasure.

Amazing, simply amazing. Rocket League has the perfect balance of fun and competitive gameplay and is a must for…Well anyone really.

A fine puzzle game that follows the rule of what makes a solid logic puzzler to the tee.

The combat is as good as it’s ever been, the writing is sharp, it’s visually stunning, and the game is full of iconic Batman moments that fans will adore and talk about for years to come. Don’t let the game’s few – admittedly glaring – flaws deter you from what is otherwise a terrific Batman tale.

This episode is the most amusing yet, but again, comes with the same problems.

An outstanding Real Time Strategy game disguised as a sports sim that is a pleasant surprise.

Good concepts are fine, but if you cannot back those up with solid gameplay, then unfortunately it is always going to be a lost cause.

Sam Barlow has proven himself in the past to be an excellent writer, but with Her Story he has completely outdone himself and set the bar as high as it has ever been.

A solid platformer, with interesting mechanics and loads of charm. Adventures of Pip is a fantastic addition to a crowded genre.

LEGO Jurassic World follows the tried and tested formula but is missing that little bit of magic, despite John Williams’ amazing score being part of the expereince.

It may not be to everyone’s tastes, but if you’re craving a deep story and interesting characters you won’t find much better.
