What looks like pure chaos and confusion from the outset, becomes something that feels great to play.

A typical Platinum game, that does justice to the Transformers licence.

I was expecting a solid game, one that just gave me more of the same as a follow up to the 2013 release. Yet what we got was a game that improved on the good and cleared away much of the bad, to produce a title that deserves its place among the best Lara Croft games over the previous 20 years.

And although Meat Boy may not be as rare as he once was but there’s no doubting that his long-awaited arrival on a handheld is very well-done.

A really well written story with best fleshed out character ever seen in the franchise. Wonderful from start to finish.

Not for everyone, but what Blood Bowl II does, it does exceptionally well.

With The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear has had its arm removed and replaced with something technically far more impressive.

Overall, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance keeps the series trademark high standard of quality going.

An excellent tactical J-RPG let down only by a slightly anti-climactic ending.

Most of what made the original Destiny a good game is still there, but the overhauls and tweaks to the lesser parts have given Destiny the sort of boost it needed.

Still a cracking golf game, but this package is only for newcomers.

A game that should become a cult/sleeper hit of 2015. Not perfect by any means, but great fun for the most part.

A few niggles stop this being a 10, but Forza Motorsport 6 is a damn fine package and excels where it counts.

If horror is your thing then you have no excuse not to buy it.

Genre diehards might protest the lack of difficulty but the depth is there for players content to meander at Hero Generations’ own pace.

But overall, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is an enthralling tale, told with aplomb, leaving just enough to interpretation to provide a satisfactory conclusion for everyone.

Blues and Bullets is a showcase in how to open the story of an episodic videogame.

Steep learning curves aside, the payoff is totally worth it, in a rewarding game that really gets its hooks in.

Even after all these years it’s still an (upper)cut above the rest.

Life is Strange continues rolling to what I hope will be an epic conclusion. The pieces are certainly in place, whether Dontnod are able to fit them together is still up in the air. As it stands though, this has been one of the biggest surprises of the year and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.
