Builds on last year's game and impresses again. [Issue#192, p.80]- games(TM)

While the game is still intrinsically limited by the conceits of the original 1986 release, it's ultimately a return to a much-missed component of the gaming landscape. [Issue#192, p.78]- games(TM)

Sadly, the writing, the story, the level scenarios, the pacing, and the characters are apocalyptically awful. At its best, monotonous, and at its worst, infuriatingly rote. [Issue#192, p.77]- games(TM)

Ark is near masterful in its ability to keep you caught up in a sense of discovery. There always seems to be more. [Issue#192, p.74]- games(TM)

It's compelling. It's one of the most gripping short games we've had the pleasure of playing in recent months, it's seven-hour lifespan never outstaying its welcome or diffusing the innate tension or intrigue. [Issue#192, p.73]- games(TM)

The studio built great things on weaker foundations with the previous game, so it's going to be exciting to see just how tall a Tower it can build when it's working off an even stronger base from day one. [Issue#192, p.64]- games(TM)

The game is a weak attempt to get your money, by patronising and giving you exactly what you expect... An ugly game that's affecting all its attitude. [Issue#191, p.76]- games(TM)

Ultimately this all amounts to - hold on to your trousers, because this'll shock you - a genuinely good Sonic the Hedgehog game. Yes, in 2017. That this exists at all after so many failed attempts is impressive, but the fact that it's really good is a bloody miracle. [Issue#191, p.75]- games(TM)

There is a great game within, that in small ways perfectly shakes up the Quake/Unreal formula. Finding it though means pushing through several barriers to entry. LawBreakers plays great. It just feels like a game its developers don't want anyone, except a select few, to play. This fixation on niche has bred a singular shooter but might just kill the game before it can get started. But Hellblade is so well executed in so many ways, so committed to its mission and has integrated concept and design so well that we found it easy to look past these things to enjoy it immensely...Intense, powerful, important and very well done. [Issue#191, p.70]- games(TM)
