Lovingly designed farming sim and role-playing game that doesn't live up to its expectations (yet?)- GameStar

Many innovative and motivating game mechanics, but due to passive AI factions and lack of diplomacy it stops being a challenge too quickly.- GameStar

The puzzles are boring after a while, the graphics are old-fashioned and even more annoying: the game tells what to do and when to do it. It's like Ma telling you how to build your sand castle.- GameStar

An atmospheric tribute to old-school RPGs, but currently overambitious and unfinished.- GameStar

The Ascent looks fantastic and offers grandiose combat. Frequent technical problems and annoying bugs, however, spoil the fun.- GameStar

There's that feeling that I should have fun playing the game, but most of the time I'm bored or angry because the controls are buggy. But if you like to be creative, maybe you'll be happy in this colourful world.- GameStar

It's an average game, but it could have been much better with some polishing, a better story and less of the mostly boring fights.- GameStar

Gorgeous sci-fi shocker for genre fans, but it suffers from some massive design and technology shortcomings.- GameStar

This game turns everything upside down – and that’s good and bad at the same time. The physics simulation isn’t bug free and there is no story at all, but the puzzles are challenging, there are lots of save points to avoid frustration and even an online-ranking.- GameStar

Acceptable, but altogether too generic shooter variant of the well-known Soulslike formula, which loosens up the genre with a focus on ranged combat.- GameStar

Technically this game has missed the last 15 years, but if you like science and polar exploration or more complex puzzles, you might like this game.- GameStar

In Firefall the clear line is missing. The game was changed so frequently during its long development time, and re-designed, that it's just mixed way up from many individual ideas in the end, but not really in harmony as a complete work.- GameStar

An unusual racing game that offers realistic, challenging drift races and a wild plot – but nothing more.- GameStar

This adventure borrows liberally from some obvious role models, but fails to live up to their examples, despite innovative audio mechanics.- GameStar

NBA 2K19 is a complete upgrade from 2K18 and therefore a top sports game. But Pay2Win, cheaters and technology quirks are extremely annoying.- GameStar

This one really is old-fashioned in all areas. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the controls are and keep the game from being a business simulation that we could recommend.- GameStar

Prussian virtues like discipline and order aren’t much fun and turn-based battles like in Rise of Prussia aren’t much fun either. If you are very interested in the Seven Year war, then go for it, otherwise take a look at Napolean: Total War instead.- GameStar

Even though Ice Age 3 is definitely targeting a very young audience, it is still fun to jump through the levels. But it lacks the funny bits – except for Scrat – and the story of the movie. Still, it's one of the better licensed games out there and probably worth a try if you're looking for a game for the kids.- GameStar

I can only laugh about the casino games because they are so absurd and ridiculous. This kind of thing just does not belong in a serious sports simulation and always distracts me from the actual game, because I want to throw baskets in NBA and not spin lucky wheels. Without casino and VC, NBA 2K would be a much better game.- GameStar

This could be a really great game, cockpits, landscapes, the planes – everything is perfectly done, full of details. But why is there no documentation, why are the most important functions hidden in large menus and why is there no support for certain flight sticks?- GameStar
