Machinarium is the most unusual adventure of 2009. It's part of the game to find out how everything works and what you have to do. What happens if you turn this machine on or pull that lever? Bit by bit everything makes sense and only at the end of the game you'll understand it. This game is a step in the right direction to evolve video games.

Haunted is a good adventure game that we can recommend to all fans of the genre. The ghosts with their special abilities are an interesting addition, which should be used more often in the future.

The second standalone addon is also extensive, the trolls fit well into the world - but are a bit tough to play.

Telltale managed to tell a story that fits into the movies without losing charme or balance. The puzzles might have been a bit too easy but if you like the movies or adventure games, you have to play this series.
