The paradoxical bottom line: The Settlers: Rise of an Empire is a diversified and motivating game, not because of it's innovations, but in spite of them.- GameStar

The dense atmosphere and gripping survival action ease the pain caused by the weak story and the unappealing protagonist.- GameStar

Anyone who can not make friends with a rather broad-based, but then always repetitive content and attaches importance to a story or multi-layered characters, is wrong with Dauntless.- GameStar

An entertaining, professionally produced mainstream racing game for a mainstream audience. 95% may rejoice. I am one of the other 5%. [Heiko Klinge]- GameStar

Dead Island 2 knows what it wants and does it just right. The zombie slasher is good solo, but even better in co-op.- GameStar

Sniper Elite 5 is just as fun as its predecessor but doesn't dare any significant innovations, therefore it feels too familiar.- GameStar

It's one of the best co-op shooters since Left 4 Dead 2, but bugs, design shortcoming and technical problems lower the score.- GameStar

A fascinating underwater world and a deep story exploring human fate. But if you are looking for pure horror, this is not for you.- GameStar

Better than the original Kickstarter version. It's not perfect, but a step in the right direction and worth playing - due to the lack of competition.- GameStar

The third installment of Dawn of War is motivating due to upgradable heroes and battles to conquer fortresses, which add to the standard missions. The missions, which can last up to two hours, are demanding. Quite often you will fight at several fronts at once while being pressed for time.- GameStar

The Star Trek drought is finally over: Across the Unknown is a great, if not perfect, strategy game.- GameStar

The eight characters allow for a very varied approach, depending on their composition. I also liked the strategy part with the base building as a resting place between the missions. It underlines the feeling of being part of a long-established resistance movement. On the other hand, I was hoping for more from the perspective of the Russian partisans. Despite the scenario, the narrative remains very superficial.- GameStar

Being in the hands of several developers and publishers is usually bad for a game, but not this time. Codename Panzers is surprisingly good and the missions are designed brilliantly. If you don't need to be in the thick of it and prefer controlling highly specialized units, then this Cold War is for you.- GameStar
