I liken it to a big, dumb, friendly guy: an affable, warm-hearted chap that you'd be friends with in real life even if he doesn't offer any useful insights or advice. Reliable, trustworthy and true: that's Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits.- GameSpy

It's a goofy mix that will surely turn off more players than it turns on, but I find the combination a compelling one. Just the simple fact that I've never played anything quite like Warship Gunner makes my jaded self happy.- GameSpy

It may not be especially revolutionary, but Elite Force II is an often entertaining and consistently solid shooter that no Star Trek fan should be without.- GameSpy

Full of caring touches and a microscope-like attention to detail, F1 Challenge '99-'02 is the ultimate thinking person's open-wheel racing sim.- GameSpy

The game is short -- way too short. A halfway decent player is going to spend more time watching the movie than playing through the story mode.- GameSpy

The worst, and most important thing about F1 Career Challenge, is the jerky handling I mentioned earlier. It takes about an hour of game time to get acclimated to it. Even after that, the cars are nearly impossible to drive smoothly, and it never really feels like you are in total control.- GameSpy

There isn't a single original or inspired moment in any of the game's 16 levels...The level design is so pathetic that the game first recycles a background tile set from Level 1 in Level 3!- GameSpy

A great game, and better than the first in all of the important ways, but the impact is lessened by the similarity to the first game.- GameSpy

The release, which tries to port too many visual features of its more powerful cousin, is just a pixelated, sluggish mess.- GameSpy

For the most part, Wario World offers little above and beyond the standard 3D platform romp, and what is offered turns out to be very short and repetitive. That's not too say that the game isn't fun while it lasts, because it is -- I just wish there was four times as much to crack.- GameSpy

Mass Media has done a sterling job with the port, and if you can get past the slightly dated visuals, you'll find the heart of the stylish, carnage-filled ride beating away underneath.- GameSpy

To top it all off, not only is AOD almost unplayable when it's working, it's also plagued by a host of glitches that will make you glad that you can save the game at any point... An early contender for "Worst Game of the Year."- GameSpy

The surprising depth of the campaign mode, and the simple pleasures of smashing into oncoming traffic, helps negate the weak audiovisuals and onslaught of "yee-haw!" hee-haws.- GameSpy

A very cool combination of gameplay elements, and the most intriguing light-gun title for a home console since Elemental Gearbolt (anyone remember that one?)- GameSpy

Even the overdone gore isn't realistic enough for the morally unhinged. It's a lackluster experience and part-time embarrassment to the hardware potential of this game system.- GameSpy

Infinite lives can't make up for gameplay that rivals NES games for cheap deaths, many of which are caused by shoddy controls. RTX Red Rock is an experience in pain.- GameSpy

A great single-player adventure that also offers new tools for mod makers. Gamers that prefer non-melee classes better be up for a challenge though.- GameSpy

Because of the complexity of the level design, part of the game's appeal is in attempting to find as many solutions as possible. You can always replay a level to try a new strategy or see a new area.- GameSpy
